It is very cheap as well. I come in here before i night out when i don't want to spend too much on my going out accessories. They sell a really good selection of handbags in here as well. They mainly stock those tiny little handbags that look like purses but they look very classy and thye are not over priced. I bought a nice scarf in here once and it was only 2 quid. You can definatly pick up a bargain in this shop and is great with the festive season just round the corner.

Went in today with my wife to browse jackets, nothing took her fancy so we left. Being the big dope…read morethat I am when entering the store I sanitised my hands upon entering and my wedding ring must have slipped off without me noticing. I didn't notice until we were in the middle of town. After a frantic re tracing of footsteps we went back and I asked the security guard if anyone found a wedding band and he thankfully said yes and directed me to the desk where the fantastic staff returned it to me after explaining what type of ring it was, I also have to give my absolute thanks and praise to the mystery lady who handed it in. Not all hero's wear capes!!! What an absolute star this lady is and again the fantastic staff and customer service at the store. Inside you'll find rail upon rail of fashion for men, women and children as well as a large shoe and accessory section, homewares and some toiletries. There are plenty of designer labels knocking about at discount prices but the challenge is finding them! You do need to take your time in TK Maxx as the layout makes it difficult to find items but it's worth the rummage to grab a bargain or two. I have to say service at the checkouts tends to be painfully slow but I grin and bear it. And TK Maxx now charge for carrier bags so remember to take your own if you want to save a few extra pennies and help the environment too.

Unfortunately, the stock in the Burnley store seems to be getting more and more depleted with large empty areas which leaves me to wonder if the store will soon be closing its doors for good. There are plenty of 'chav' clothes on offer but also some more tasteful outfits and the prices are low. There's always an extensive sale section where you can stretch your money even further but there's plenty of awful clothes to scour in search of hidden gems. The staff are particularly helpful though and do deserve a special mention. When buying T-shirts for a hen night, the Burnley staff were great at setting aside all the stock they had of a particular style and were great in telephoning around all the MK One stores in Lancashire to source the elusive size 12s our party searched for. Despite some of the frankly awful fashion choices on offer in MK One, I do enjoy hunting down wearable bargains and I would definitely miss it if it went!
