He refused to show. I then got a call from Amanda who went over some of the problems of the timing and I told her that I would do the shopping, change the day, do whatever it took to make this work. I told her I would work with Louis and make it work with him, but ideally I wanted a morning shift, not the afternoon shift. She agreed to put me on the waiting list. Today, I got an absolutely rude call from a guy who said it wasn't going to work out, then lied about what how the conversations went. I tried to explain all the things I tried to offer; two meals, snacks, simple food; cleaning up after Louis (which he is supposed to do) and he kept cutting me off and told me it wasn't a good fit. Unbelievable. They didn't even try to make this work, simply serving two people a couple of meals a week. Rude, unprofessional, almost downright mean.
