I told her I would work with Louis and make it work with him, but ideally I wanted a morning shift, not the afternoon shift. She agreed to put me on the waiting list. Today, I got an absolutely rude call from a guy who said it wasn't going to work out, then lied about what how the conversations went. I tried to explain all the things I tried to offer; two meals, snacks, simple food; cleaning up after Louis (which he is supposed to do) and he kept cutting me off and told me it wasn't a good fit. Unbelievable. They didn't even try to make this work, simply serving two people a couple of meals a week. Rude, unprofessional, almost downright mean.

He is always acessible, follows up on all requests, and is professional every step of the way! The bride changed plans with some of the arrangements and Anthony did not blink an eye and supported her decisions with outside vendors. In addition it RAINED during the entire day and we all were "mentally prepared" but Anthony saved the day in many ways. He shopped and purchased a clear umbrella for the bride and groom's first look which was essential throughout the rest of the day. Everything at Sticks was ready and twinkling when we arrived after the ceremony. Saley's flower arrangements were exquisite. What made us appreciate Catering DSM so much more was how considerate they were of us having to transition from a 200+ people wedding to less than 30, waiving any previously established food and drink minimums. We are well aware that there are plenty of venues out there who have not been so flexible, so we are truly grateful for this. The food was amazing, and we loved how customizable everything was. What we really appreciated was how Sarah really listened to what we liked and made adjustments to the menu to fit our personal taste, from adding truffle oil to the mac and cheese croquettes to adding lobster tail to our entrée with less than a week's notice. For couples with a smaller budget, I would strongly recommend talking to a different decorators/planners. Since I was paying for the entire wedding out of my own pocket without help from either of our parents, I would say I had a much smaller budget that other brides who hire white willow. When looking back through the emails and reflecting on my wedding day, I feel like I was never made a priority because of my smaller wedding budget. In the days prior to my wedding, I felt that my opinion and concerns became looked over or "pushed under the rug". Taylor's responses to my emails were very curt and short. I tried to set up a meeting to discuss my concerns in the week prior to my wedding, and she said she was too busy. Being told that she was "too busy" in the week prior to the wedding showed that I was not a priority to her. To conclude it all, there was extensive confusion about the tear down of the venue afterwards. Some of her staff was incredibly rude to the wedding party, who was only trying to help because there was no one in the wedding party knew we did not need to tear down the decorations (would have been nice to have that meeting the week prior to discuss details like this...). My sister-in-law found one of the white willow workers throwing decorations we had provided into the trash and then pouring the water and wax over them from floating candles.
