Repsher physical therapy is such a caring place from the wonderful people that greet you in the office to all the therapists on the floor that guide you through your recovery. I worked with Brandon for 8 weeks and learned how to improve my back issues with exercises targeted to strengthen my muscles and core. He was amazing and has helped me so much! So, I decided to try them one more time hoping that maybe their billing staff had improved. They actually messed up the billing yet again. They sent me a copy of the insurance company billing instructions I had given them for my file. It specified the name of the insurance company and the exact address and contact information. They ended up sending the billing to a completely different insurance company - that has been out of business for many years - totally ignoring the information they acknowledged they had in my file. Although they have some terrific PT folks their ongoing billing errors create more aggravation than I am willing to deal with.,

Today I received a call from her telling me she has decided to change my appointments to another "therapist" that I don't even know! And all of this was done behind my back. I had zero input and also zero knowledge this was going on. This left me no option but to discontinue their "services". Yeah, they are "different" and not necessarily in a good way either. I can't thank Dr Erik enough for helping me through one of the toughest times of my life. I had a…read moretotal knee replacement and as a result of said surgery, I have permanent nerve damage that caused a foot drop. To say my recovery was challenging would be an understatement. But Erik worked with me endlessly to get me better. There were many times I wanted to give up. He saw me at my worst. Days when I was in so much pain I didn't change out of my pajamas to go to PT. He brought me from tears and wearing legs braces to no longer having a foot drop and being able to hike the Red Rocks of Sedona with my husband!!! This was a huge accomplishment for me!!! I am forever grateful for his patience and working with me and getting me better. And not only to him, but the rest of his staff, especially the wonderful Theresa helping me to keep my schedule in place with changing work days. I am forever grateful for all of them.

Due to long term lower back issues occasionally my right leg goes numb causing me to fall. That is…read morewhat happened late in January 2022. After being misdiagnosed by a different physician as just having a bad sprain - and walking on that leg for about 3 weeks - I was referred to Dr T who, after exam and xrays discovered that I had a broken fibula. After reviewing the pros and cons of treatment surgery was scheduled fir the next day. I met Dr T at a surgery center (for outpatient surgery) and he performed surgery on my leg to repair the broken bone. I ended up with a plate and 9 screws in my leg and yes - that is as nasty as it sounds. I have seen Dr T several times for follow ups and post surgical evaluations. He is extremely personable and always takes the time to answer all of my questions. His office staff at this location are also very friendly and competent. Worthy of special mention is his Medical Secretary Chloie who is a truly magnificent communicator and is extremely efficient in getting me all the report copies I request. I highly recommend Dr T to anyone who needs orthopedic surgery and or evaluation.

So I am certainly not going to speak poorly about General Orthopedics as a whole. The women who…read morehandle reception are wonderful, courteous, kind, and thorough. Will Smith is amazing. Professional, kind, super chill, and very knowledgable. My only complaint is Art Smuckler. Now as far as his skill level, craft of the orthotics, and his knowledge and thoroughness with orthotics, feet, and the over all body mechanic knowledge he's fantastic. BUT, and it's a big but, his bedside manner is atrocious. I first saw Art for my orthotic fitting. Typical old school guy. Big ego. Talks a lot about himself and how he works with "the best athletes in the world" and the "highest level NBA teams." OK fine. I've dealt with big egos before. Prior to my 1st fitting (after meeting Art and my initial consult), reception messaged and said that the sneakers Art wanted me to buy from the office were no longer available in the color that I wanted. The women I spoke to suggested that I choose another style or purchase sneakers of my own in 2 sizes: 1/2 size bigger and a full size bigger, just to be sure. I purchased my own sneakers as instructed and waited in the room for Art. When Art came in he was very upset that I purchased my own shoes. I told him what had happened, but he didn't care. We continued with the fitting and he would not let it go. He completely lost it when I told him that I wasn't fond of the selection at the office which is why I purchased my own sneakers. He screamed at me. He got very close in my face and he was screaming at me saying: "You don't know who you're dealing with Honey!" "I'm the most sought after person in my field and I work with the most famous sportsman in the world!" At a certain point I was scared. I'm a smaller framed woman and he was looming over me yelling at me and pointing at me in my face. He threw one of the sneakers that I purchased across the room into the shoe box. I told him that he was being very unprofessional and that I did not want to deal with him any longer. At that point I demanded that he get Will Smith to finish my appointment. I had spent over $600 for the orthotics. I wasn't going to waste it. Will Smith came in and apologized for Art's behavior. Will also said that it was totally fine that I brought in my own sneakers. He approved of the brand and made his own suggestions. I will be going back only because of Will. The entire practice is great except for Art and his extremely large ego. As a woman, I do not feel safe with Art. He's very nasty and takes the slightest thing personal. I give General Orthotics a 4 because over all everyone is lovely. Art Smuckler, not so much.

There was a lot of swelling and my surgeon had prescribed meds and an injection but nothing worked. I also was prescribed physical therapy which I had done by a different provider. No help. Then I discovered this provider and, fortunately, I have been seen by one of the partners Dennis Judd. The man is a wizard. In short order he found the specific cause of my discomfort and started working in it. Within 4 sessions my pain has considerably diminished! I know Dennis has close to 50 years of experience- and it is quite apparent. I give Dennis my highest recommendation.
