I called Chris based on his yelp reviews and proximity to his business location. We talked on the phone and he guided me through the process of making sure it wasn't just thermal expansion at the water heater. He didn't want me to pay for a new prv if it wasn't needed. In other words, he wasn't concerned with making a buck. It turned out it was the prv and he sent Mark out the next morning with a new prv. Mark is a great guy. Very personable and he had the prv installed in no time. He also came in to check that all was good with the expansion tank on the water heater. The house water pressure is perfect and stable now. The price was fair and nothing like what it would have been with a big plumbing outfit. I highly recommend!

When the technician arrived, he took a quick look, flashed a light around, and glanced under the crawl space--but never actually went in to investigate. After a few minutes, he told me he couldn't find anything and suggested a costly camera inspection. At that point, I asked him a question about our dishwasher, and he ran a wire through it, pushing out a bit of food buildup. It was a small fix, and I was grateful for the help. Then came the shock--he told me I owed him $200. I was stunned. For what amounted to a flashlight glance and a quick poke at the dishwasher, it felt incredibly excessive. I was home alone and felt pressured to pay, but I walked away from that interaction feeling completely taken advantage of. Thankfully, we contacted a second plumber who actually took the time to go into the crawl space, snake the main line, and diagnose the real issue--without charging a dime for the inspection. He gave us a fair quote, fixed the problem properly, and even installed a two-way sewer cleanout. That's the kind of service that earns long-term trust. I don't normally write reviews like this, but I want others to know: do your homework. There are honest, hardworking professionals out there. Sadly, this company wasn't one of them. Reach out to Andy at Flow Right.

I had tried troubleshooting it myself and initially thought it might be a relatively simple clog, but it became pretty clear that it needed a professional. Iain thoroughly snaked the line and got everything flowing properly again. While he was working, he also pointed out that the plumbing under our kitchen sink had a lot of smaller sections, fittings, and connections that could be simplified to minimize future issues. What I really appreciated was that it never felt like an upsell. He mentioned it simply as something I might want to consider in the future. I was actually the one who asked whether he could just take care of it while he was already there. He even hesitated because he wasn't sure he had all the necessary parts on the truck, but checked and was able to get it done. The new setup under the sink looks dramatically cleaner, simpler, and stronger. Some of the old fittings were pretty finicky, so I'm especially glad I didn't continue trying to tackle it myself. Iain and Steve spent about three hours between clearing the drain, rebuilding the piping, and making sure everything was working correctly. The pricing was also very reasonable, and Iain actually reduced the original drain-cleaning charge after I added the additional work without me even asking. Both Iain and Steve were friendly, professional, and straightforward. I also really appreciated that Iain took the time to explain what he was doing and gave me some good advice for maintaining the drains going forward. It's hard to find a plumber you feel like you can trust, and this was one of those experiences where I finished the job feeling like I had found someone I would absolutely call again. Highly recommend Iain, Steve, and All American Plumbing.

The first two quotes were only going to replace the metal pipes under my house and line the inside of the pipes that run from the yard out the street (keeping the old metal pipes). But for the same price, Flow Right did a complete replacement of ALL pipes with new, non corroding ABS pipes. And not to get into the whole backstory, but there was a small request that was that was verbally agreed to that I thought they might renege on. But they kept their promise and completed the task at no extra charge as per our agreement. I appreciate their honesty and ethical behavior. I cannot express how pleased I was with their work and professionalism. The whole team was amazing. And nothing was over promised. They did exactly what they said they would for an extremely competitive price.

They came out but told me I needed to pull the toilet so they could jet the main line since I didn't have a clean-out. I did exactly as instructed, but they couldn't return the same day due to scheduling. The next day came... and they never showed. I later found out their truck had broken down. By the third day, I was put in touch with Flow Right, and that's when everything changed. Jess arrived right on time, immediately put a camera down the line to investigate, and explained every step clearly. His professionalism and knowledge were on another level. I learned that Flow Right typically handles major plumbing, sewer repairs, and renovation projects--not the simple small jobs. Jess stepped in as a favor to help out his family business and to help me out of a difficult situation, and I truly appreciated it. I was extremely impressed with the service. Jess is someone I will absolutely keep in mind for any large plumbing or renovation projects in the future. Highly recommended!

I contacted this company but they did not offer any estimate over the phone saying they need to come and do their assessment of the needed service. So, based the reviews, I agreed to their offer. I was beyond shock when the employee informed me the cost to install the faucets would be $1,100. Obviously I did not use this company nor would I ever call them again. UPDATE: In response to owner implying that there were barriers or difficulties with installing the two faucets. NOT the case at all; clean and clear access, only one bolt had a little corrosiveness.

Title: Predatory, Overpriced, and Utterly Unreliable - Avoid at All Costs…read more LET ME EDIT MY OLD REVIEW. IT wasn't until just now, that I found out what they did, was a SCAM. I am beyond disgusted with Ability Plumbing and their shady, predatory business practices. They prey on people in urgent situations, overcharge wildly, and then vanish when you actually need them. On 10/20/2023, I had no choice but to use Ability Plumbing because my HOA in Summer Hill, San Diego, only allows them. A technician came out to give me a quote for replacing sinks. The price was steep, but since they were the HOA's contractor, I felt trapped. During this visit, the technician pushed me into replacing my "failed" hot water shut-off valve -- something I didn't even call about -- warning me about "emergency situations" and how critical it would be. His high-pressure pitch worked, and I paid $920 for it (later finding out other reputable plumbers would do it for half the price). But again, my hands were tied due to the HOA. Fast forward to 8/12/2025 -- I had an actual emergency where I needed this expensive shut-off valve. Guess what? It didn't work at all. I called immediately, got voicemail, and later spoke to a woman named Laura who assured me they'd send a tech on 8/13/2025 at 9am. I took off work, sat here waiting, only for Laura to call at 10:30am saying the appointment was canceled because their three technicians were "tied up on another project." This was after knowing my situation and the fact their overpriced "emergency" valve failed me. This is not just bad service -- it's outright scheming. They sold me a part I didn't ask for, at a gouged price, and when the moment came for it to actually protect my home, it failed. And their response? Cancellations and excuses. On their website, they boast about "25 years of experience" and "treating customers like family." Please. Maybe it's 25 years of scamming families. Their actions show zero care, zero respect, and zero accountability. I want someone above Laura to contact me immediately, but frankly, my real advice to anyone reading this: DO NOT use Ability Plumbing unless you enjoy being overcharged, misled, and abandoned in your time of need.

I called them after a home warranty company sent out another plumbing company that was an absolute disaster. Perry Plumbing was able to accommodate me right away, and the difference in professionalism was night and day. Within just a few minutes of arriving, Xavier diagnosed the issue with our garbage disposal and clearly explained three different repair options, with pricing, in writing. What I appreciated most was that there was absolutely no sales pressure or attempt to steer me toward a particular product or solution. I ultimately decided to purchase the same garbage disposal we already had and have Perry Plumbing install it. They made the entire process incredibly easy, coming back later that day for the installation after I procured it. Xavier's respect for our home also really stood out. He wore booties and even laid down a protective mat to keep our kitchen floor clean. Every detail was handled thoughtfully and professionally. I honestly don't know if they could have sent a more thorough, courteous, and conscientious person to our home. I rarely use the phrase "above and beyond," but it absolutely applies here. My husband and I have more than 40 years of combined experience working in the construction industry, so we know what professionalism and quality workmanship look like. We would not hesitate to recommend Perry Plumbing and will absolutely call them again.
