It was my first appointment, and I was nervous. I was greeted by Dental Assistant Araceli, who was very welcoming and kind. This put me at ease. Araceli helped me through the registration process and worked with me to make payments when I discovered I did not have the proper insurance. I am on a fixed income so this was a huge relief! Dr. Neely was very kind and helpful also. She explained all of the work that would be needed over a period of time. She authorized my payment plan so that I could get all of the work done that I need. Their customer service is extremely rare! The office lobby is dingy with dirty carpet and old furniture. There's a sign when you come in asking you to please be patient because they are understaffed. That sign has been up for 3 years, ever since I started going there. The receptionist is also the dental assistant, so they leave the door open when they're working on you and she will call out to patients coming in (while she's working in your mouth,) to sign in and she will be out there in a minute. They're very quick to get you in and out. When you call them on the phone, it's impossible to get hold of someone, and if you leave a message, don't expect to get a call back. The waiting took a second, but the really annoying thing is that they do root canals for every tooth except molars. I mentioned over the phone my area of concern, and they did address it and were good at that; they cleaned my teeth and even gave me a prescription-strength toothpaste. However, no one wants to drive from Normal, IL, to Chicago to get a root canal done because they can't do it here. They should've mentioned that on the website or when I called them.​​​​​​​​​ Update: Not only did they forget a prescription I needed, but they also took forever to reach by phone. I would not recommend this dentistry office. Update 2: My God, I feel like these people are the laziest folk I've seen. Called in to get a referral for a root canal up in Chicago at 8:41. They said they needed my email- WHICH I gave them via the paper they make you fill out for first timers so they have it on file- and they can't even bother to pull it up? They have unhappy front desk people. Instead of rescheduling people because computers went down they just gave horrible service with people piled up in waiting room. I will not return. Just took my dentures and left I will pay to have their botch work corrected the ones they gave me compared to what I had was night and day they shouldn't be allowed to practice. read more

Unacceptable office quality & communication to patient. Did NOT call in antibiotic prescription to pharmacy for a 12mm abscess. After passing my call around, they gave plenty of excuses, none of which will prevent the spread of infection! read more

I felt discriminated against I was made to wait 50 minutes past my scheduled appointment time when I was there signed in 3 minutes before they open was only the third person signing in they took every single person in front of me first then the first thing is the coverage they will lie to you they will tell you that you are covered for the implants I was told for three different appointments I was molded for implants then when I went in to get the implant they molded me for dentures and told me I was not covered I called my insurance company they said no you're not covered but nothing was ever submitted for me to call the dentist I said oh I don't have to I'm in the parking lot I'll just take you in on speakerphone so I went back into the desk and I asked the lady did you submit that she said I submitted it and the insurance lady said on the phone nothing was submitted. The receptionist proceeded to say she was going to call the cops so I left I am going to have my dentures that I'm going to receive sent to the Peoria office because the office in Bloomington is horrible the front doors look like they had never been washed the receptionist is discriminative and lazy she looks at the doors everyday all day long but they are so dirty from children's fingerprints and adults fingerprints that you may catch a disease off of them you might want to wear gloves the dentist on the other hand is the best thing that office has he is wonderful he's gentle he does a great job his assistant is also wonderful read more

Made appointments for my two kids and me over two months ago....showed up and they were closed. No call or any type of notice. Unacceptable.

I have been a patient at the Normal, Il. office the past few years, and there have been several service related issues, including two appointments canceled without notifying me. If you don't allow their call center access to your cell number, so they can call and text you numerous times to remind you of your appointment and for you to text confirmation of appointments, your appointments are then canceled. They will not call your landline. It is impossible to reach anyone in charge, all calls going thru a call center in Texas. This is not a user friendly office and looking thoroughly at Google and Yelp reviews show there are long standing issues. I'm done. Update 4/10/25: I had a call back yesterday from the office manager, who didn't know why I had not been notified of a cancelled appt. 4/4/25 as she had known for two weeks prior that office would be closed both 4/3 &4. I have never in my life had a provider that did not call to reschedule appointments that needed to be canceled. read more

My daughter's appointment got cancelled via text - a GROUP text. Hippa violation!!! I called the office to complain and get clarification about what happened. No one called me back. I called back again two days later and they said they had no record of what happened. This is really unprofessional and wasn't handled at all on their end. read more

they are impossible to reach by phone and do not return phone calls, they extracted a tooth and then I got dry socket which was so painful where they could care less and I had to keep calling to try to come back in, they did not listen and just continued to cut me off in the conversation, do not go there read more
