Very personal warm and well informed!! They are patient when they are selling a $2500.00 designer watch or one of their 2 for $25 specials!! They want their jewelry to fit and find a good home!! I can only imagine how many times they have to show a piece before it sells BUT they make you feel as though it just got there and you are the first to appreciate it! read more

If you want a lowball offer at a fraction of the value for you jewelry, then this is the place for you. Buyers/sellers beware. Took in four 14k diamond rings/necklaces and the smug, rude guy who waited on me started telling me how much I won't get and how valueless my items are before he even saw them. Seriously who does that? One of the rings was literally purchased from them 20+ years ago at just over $8k which is why I went to them to sell. I didn't expect anywhere close to retail price, but why would I sell for a couple hundred bucks? Total waste of time. I went to 3 other stores and Accent was by FAR the lowest offer (less than 25% of the next lowest offer). I can't even wrap my head around that. Got a fair price elsewhere on the same day. Save you time and go elsewhere. read more

As I write this, I am still scratching my head. I recently took my old engagement ring to Accent to see how much they would give me. I had taken it to the store that it was purchased from and gotten their price. I just wanted to see how Accent compared. I've never done business with them before, as I am not in the habit of selling jewelry. My diamond was $10K when it was purchased in 2006. Platinum band, ~1 carat natural diamond with excellent clarity. I have the receipt from its purchase, but didn't provide it to Accent - I wanted to see what they'd say. Their offer? ** $575 ** $575 for a $10K ring? How in God's name does a piece of jewelry deteriorate in value that much? I am baffled. And how is it that the jeweler that sold it recently offered me $5K? I understand people need to make a profit - I do. I was not expecting Accent to offer me $10,000. But $575?!?!?! You done lost your mind. I will, of course, be going to my jeweler. Claudia Barr would be so ashamed of you, Accent Jewelers. Tsk, tsk. read more

I would personally go somewhere else ... very rude was told they buy a lot of jewelry and had already bought up to much of Princess shaped diamonds and would not even make an offer on my jewelry as the Princess cut is no longer in style so I went down the street where they did ... first and last visit... I was also told that real diamonds have gone down in value since the new lab cut diamonds are out and more people are buying those ...Take your diamonds somewhere else maybe they are just good at buying silver read more

They were professional and honest in recommending what I should do with a ring I wanted to sell. They didn't give me the price I was looking for but offered better options that I should pursue, overall I appreciate the honesty read more

Major shout out to The Jewel Box!! Everything online looked just as pictured in person. Ask for Kayla!!!!! She was so helpful on the phone and when it came to purchasing, it was simple, quick, and no pressure! 10/10 recommend. read more

Off the bat the buyer/ sells rep was rude. He should have prioritized looking at what I was attempting to sell instead of telling me all the cons, how much I won't get for it, how much he can buy stuff for... etc. I kept reiterating I've worked in fine jewelry sells. I'm aware I won't make what I spent and I was ok with that. He went on to tell me how the jeweler I originally bought it from(I had the life time commitment paperwork with me) over marked all of their jewelry and how it wasn't worth what they sold it for. He then went on to tell me the diamonds in my ring were a good grade and clarity but then proceeded to tell me- they were only worth $6 or $7 a piece. He was so pressed about telling me the cons I lost interest after several minutes because he made it clear without even really looking at the ring- I wasn't going to get much. You'll have better luck selling your jewelry off marketplace than here. Steer clear. read more

Accent Jewelers - Gold Buyers Near Me - Memphis, Tennessee

You'd have to be desperate for money to take your jewelry there. My Dad passed, and I took 2 of his rings there. I was offered $350 for a 3- diamond, 1 ct wedding band. This ring was appraised for $3500. They offered me $450 for a Mason ring. 4- .25 ct diamonds with a 1/2 ct center diamond valued at $6000!!!! I don't call a $800 offer on $9500 worth of jewelry anywhere near a "fair offer." Obviously we walked out of there as fast as we could. Pictures are included. You decide. read more

I went there to sell some jewelry, they offered me $200 dollars for a half carat diamond necklace, and pendant, I also had 14kt yellow gold, and diamond pendant, and 3/4 diamond earrings. They used the vocabulary, my diamonds weren't good. I came home sold the necklace on ebay for the full amount, sold the earrings, and pendants also. All together I made almost $1000 dollars, so i won't be back. read more

They "lost" a $17,000 diamond ring of mine. They had appraised it for insurance purposes a few years earlier, so we both had pictures and measurements to describe it. Then I bought an empty setting online and took it and the diamond ring to them to remove the 1.5 diamond from the old setting and put it in the new setting. When I called a week later to see if it was ready, they couldn't find it. It was gone. They eventually replaced the ring with a new setting and a stone with comparable measurements, but their diamond just wasn't as sparkly as my original diamond. I don't know how a jewelry store just loses a customer's diamond ring. read more

Took some sterling flatware, candlesticks and silver coins in thinking I'd be lucky with withever was offered. I was assisted by two wonderful employees, Amanda & Reva. They took their time with me and talked about the pieces I brought. To my surprise, I received almost 4 times my figure I had figured I'd be lucky to get. I have been in before and they were quite fair with their appraisal of the value. I will be back and whole heartedly recommend not only Accent but Amanda & Reva. read more

I sold a few necklaces and rings that formerly belonged to my mother to Accent Jewelers. Although I don't know a great deal about reselling gold and silver, I walked away with a few dollars and they now have the jewelry I didn't know what to do with. I also showed them a diamond ring and was told that its appraised value was 10 times what they would pay me, so I kept it. I appreciated their honesty a d the respect they showed me. They didn't treat me like my stuff was junk! read more

Once again I used them for my Jewelry needs and they came through with flying colors. Prices are great and service is spectacular!

On a trip to Memphis I decided to sell an old useless diamond ring I had burning a hole in my nightstand. To be fair I didn't shop around, but in just doing a little internet research and making a few phone calls, Accent Jewelers gave me a VERY fair price in minutes. I was in and out with a check in my hand in 10 minutes. I thought they were very professional and friendly and it really seemed like a well established business. I was there on a Saturday and they didn't have any inventory out, but there were several people there selling things, and I'd imagine you could get some nice quality, gently used, low price items. read more

My wife was very upset after how she was treated at this dirty business. The man at the counter sarcastically looked her over right when she walked up, sizing her up as though he was so much better than anyone. She had just left her work and went out of her way to this place because they supposedly gave fair money for jewelry. She handed him 2 rings (one with 15 diamonds that cost me over $4000) and he said "I'll give ya $300". She asked if he could get closer to $600 and he literally laughed at her. Not only rude, but far from professional. We will never go back and will warn others of this place and its lies. What an insulting low life business. read more

I brought in a new 1 caret diamond ring that was flawless that I bought for my girlfriend from Robert Irwin jewelers a month before that she never even wore!!!!! I paid $3400.00 for that exquisite ring that was never worn on her finger, and they only offered me $165.00 . I just want people to know that you need to avoid this business because you will definitely get ripped off. I took that same ring to a different jeweler and was paid $3000.00. So all I'm saying is watch out for this rip off business!!!!!!!! read more

I had several rings that had not been worn in years. I took them to Accent Jewelers to see how the process works and the value of my pieces. The staff was very professional. Very pleasant experience that I highly recommend. read more

I went there when I got laid off. I bought some pieces of jewelry to sale because I was in need of money but I had this one item that was a diamond ring in silver that I only got credit for the silver. I wanted to sell some old jewelry and use the money to add an anniversary band to my wedding set. I was offered a somewhat decent amount for my old jewelry, however, I had hoped for more so I told them I wanted to check other places first. I was offered much more at another store and was able to buy exactly what I wanted. read more

Greeted very quickly by professional man. Easy to work with and they pay in cash!

I worked with Scott and Will and both were very knowledgeable. They made an offer on a piece I own and I countered and they accepted. It was a good experience. Not impressed, I'm sorry but the people there are not friendly, I called & asked if they bought the items I was interested in selling before I went; guy on phone says "yes", then I get there & the woman there told me " no, we don't buy those" I told her I called first & she said " you must have called some place else". Ok I know buying jewelry & being in pawn is probably not a glam job but have some pride & customer service. Now I know where NOT to go read more

They are rip offs. I went there with 2 oieces I had appraised at 1200 dollars and they offered me 100 bucks. Shoddy crooks!!!

They will not give you a fourth of what the item is worth. Unless you're just ready to give this away, I wouldn't recommend. If you're willing to trade, the deal is better but not much better. read more

I was trying to get rid of some unwanted jewelry and this was my second place I went to. They only appraised my emerald set for 365. I took my set and went to my first stop which gave me 525. This business advertises (VERY OFTEN!!!) on TV, etc. that they offer the highest prices in the Memphis area when purchasing jewelry. NOT!!!!! Recently, my wife wanted to sell some jewelry, which she took elsewhere first, believing that the ads were truthful and that she would be well-pleased when receiving the offer from Accent. At the first business, she was offered $3000 for a diamond bracelet - which brought an offer of only $500 from Accent, where their 'most experienced appraiser' (who appeared to be about 25 years old!) commented regarding the lack of quality of the bracelet (his opinion - no one else's!). When we told him of the previous offer of $3000, he said that we must have been mistaken. YES, we were mistaken in believing the Accent advertisements!! We went right back to the first business, just across the street, and walked out with our $3000!! STAY AWAY FROM ACCENT, FOR THEY ARE RIPOFF ARTISTS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE FINANCIAL NEED AND GULLIBILITY OF THE PUBLIC!!!!! read more

I took two men's gold rings to them. They both have diamonds in them. They offered me $200.00 for both. When I awoke from fainting, they said all they wanted was the gold, so that's all they were going to pay me for. The diamonds were not worth anything. When I said "okay, let me pry out the diamonds and I'll sell them to someone else". The salesman got a cute grin on his face and said "well, we can't do that". I promptly told him to drop dead and I walked out. I finally did sell them, for $800.00!!! Accent Jewelers are thieves. read more

Had an excellent experience selling old jewelry. Found earrings I want for Christmas!

I brought three rings that I was interested in selling. One was an antique 18k gold with a large ruby, another was a platinum wedding set with a .5 caret diamond, and the last was a five pearl ring set in white gold. I was offered $350 for the lot. I think I could do great business by just standing outside the door and offering to buy their items for more than they would be offered. I would love to buy those rings for $350. I have had an offer online for one of the rings for $500 alone! You might as well go to a pawn shop as that is what Accent Jeweler's offers. I got an offer for sterling silver from them and they wanted to give me less that two grand. I sold the silver online and received $4,700! read more
