Our neighbors had had great service from Fremont Heating & Air Conditioning and recommended we give them a call. John Fremont was able to come out the next day. Although he concurred with some of the problems the previous company saw, we felt he took a much less rash approach to the situation. We did end up replacing the heater (at a much lower cost) because the most expensive part needed replacing and the heater was over 15 years old. But the A/C only needed a $20 part replaced and it was good to go. The work was done quickly and professionally and we couldn't be happier. When that A/C does decide to give up the ghost, we'll be calling Fremon Heating & Air Conditioning to do the replacement job.

We live in a remote location far from their home base and they were still not only willing to come this far for a quote, (most others would not, they all expected me as a novice to take measurements and send photos for a quote), they scheduled quickly. Once we were given to go ahead, they came out within days and were beyond professional. the demo was clean, quiet and quick. Robert, our contractor cared about every detail to ensure my father had the perfect shower that would work for him and would also stand the test of time. the tile work is beautiful and he even fixed any issues with the backing behind it and insulation! he fixed some plumbing issues that arose and in the end the remodel of the bathroom was beyond what we had hoped for! What stood out more to me was the amount of care he placed in every detail. It was almost like he was building the shower for his own father's care. This is a hardworking, honest and dependable contractor that did not surprise us with additional cost. He finished the job on time and truly gave 100%. At one point, he even volunteered to remove a bull snake from my yard as my dogs would not leave it be and I was too frightened! You can put off some home repairs indefinitely, but a leaky roof isn't one of them. Cracked,…read morecurled, or missing roof shingles demand immediate attention; if neglected, they can lead to severe water damage. My past experience show that performance, skill, commitment, craftsmanship, responsibility, trust, transparency vary widely among roofing companies and contractors. I hired 6 total roofers in Ogden, Utah and 4/6 didn't show up. One particular contractor repaired the roof with several flaws and never returned my emails or calls. Tim was the 6th contractor I called and I'm super glad I found him. I truly appreciate great business people that you can trust. Thank you so much for helping me solve the issues with my roof and making my life easier.

We had an excellent experience with Utah Basements this past year. They completed our unfinished…read morebasement with 2 bedrooms, large living area, exercise room, utility room, linen closet, under the stairs closet, and full bath. They were able to schedule us immediately once we received all the bids, and the project took roughly 9 weeks from start to final walkthrough. Utah Basements was the second highest bid received, partly because they did not do the flooring (which we got through RC Willey). Communicating with Todd was very convenient, and he responded quickly to text, email, and messages through the UBKB online client portal, where we formally documented design changes. Victor was on site most days and was extremely professional and very friendly. He answered all of our questions, gave helpful suggestions, and always contacted us when there was an issue or he needed direction. Once materials were in, the crew made fantastic progress framing, plumbing, and electrical. The rest of the process went very smoothly, with the minor exception that a bunch of paint touch ups were needed, but those were taken care of immediately. Overall we had a top-notch experience with Todd, Victor and UBKB, couldn't be happier with the final product, and would definitely recommend them if you need a basement finished!
