Also, they don't give discounts to people who work at the mall, which some places do, so at this point I gave up. I won't come here in the future. This is a new-ish Dollarama that's very large and has an excellent selection of products…read more I dropped off some clothes at Plato's Closet, which is in the same plaza, and while I was waiting for them to sort through my items and give me an offer, I popped over to this Dollarama to poke around. They had a good Halloween section with lots of affordable decorations, accessories, and a few costumes, mostly for kids. They also had Christmas items out, and the selection was also good. I was impressed by their toys and games section. I picked up a Funko Pop card game (The Mandalorian edition of Something Wild) for only $4. Some dollar stores only have cheap knock offs of games, but I saw real legit games that I've seen in game stores like Mastermind Toys and places like Walmart, albeit perhaps less popular games. I spotted a limited time Coffee Crisp flavour, too: Pumpkin Spice Latte! You know I had to try it, haha. Staff were pleasant and efficient, despite the long line up. At first I didn't let myself get too excited. I've been in other temporary mall Christmas stores and have left disappointed. Not this place, friends. First of all, the displays themselves are incredible - there are trees all around the store, each with a theme (there's an adorable princess tree, a waterfall tree, nature tree and many more!). Aside from the beautiful trees, you'll find walls and walls of stunning, humorous, classic and thematic ornaments. There is literally an ornament for everyone you know - fishing, animal lovers (with specific breeds and species!), craft lovers, scuba divers, nurses, gym rats, and everything else in between! It would be overwhelming if it wasn't so damn amazing. In addition to all things Christmas tree (lights! Ornaments! Garland!), they have everything Holiday entertainers could want - special serving dishes, decorative pillows, napkins, mugs (for hot cocoa, obviously.), stockings, sticking hangers, signs ("Santa stops here!", "I've been a good girl!", "joy to the world!" and so on). I actually much prefer Dollar Tree to Dollarama, but due to the fewer and less convenient locations for me, I admittedly go to Dollarama more. This Dollar Tree is the one that is least inconvenient for me. I love that Dollar Tree has helium balloons (Dollarama does not). Their selection is much smaller than places like Party City or Party Mart, but they still have a good variety of mylar balloons. Their greeting cards selection is also great. They have a lot of licensed cards like Disney princesses, Mickey Mouse, etc. which make me very popular with my little nieces. They also have a forever changing inventory of brand name food items that I've seen in grocery stores. They are usually limited edition items, items nearing their expiration dates or items that didn't sell well. Dollarama has brand name food items too, but they tend to be items made specifically for Dollarama, as the prices and the Dollarama logo are actually printed on the packaging. This Dollar Tree is similar to other locations in size and layout. It's located in the same plaza as Loblaws and Fabricland. There's free parking in the plaza parking lot.

When it comes to adult items like sex toys, it's important to be very non-judgemental. Venus Envy has that, and more. The employees have never been anything but friendly and courteous, and always willing to answer any questions. The storefront is cleverly used for display purposes so if you were ever worried about being spotted by someone you know from outside, that won't be a problem. Inside, it's clean, bright, and has a very chill environment. The store has cool pamphlets on various topics such as BDSM, menstruation, and solo play. They each have nice tidbits of information, and list resources on the topic to further read. Around the store they have different toys on display to pick up and look at, and testers for lubes and such. They have books and magazines on a wide variety of subjects, and not only just only sexual matters. What I also like is that they have period alternative products like cloth pads and the Diva cup.
