I am going out of my mind with Accent Interiors. We did a complete remodel and everything was perfect until Home Depot subcontracted our quartz countertops to Accent Interiors. They were installed a week late and were TWO DIFFERENT COLORS where they are seamed together. I tracked down a manager at Home Depot, then Accent Interiors. I'm still waiting for the manager at Home Depot to call me back FOUR WEEKS later. Accent Interiors sent someone out who never called back. Then I was asked to take more photos because his photos weren't that great. I don't work for Home Depot or Accent Interiors but I've been doing their jobs for them. Our project coordinator, Ashley, has done absolutely nothing for us. Doesn't return phone calls. It's now been OVER A MONTH and nothing has been corrected. Our contractor warned us not to deal with Home Depot (and ultimately Home Depot) and I regret doing so every single day. Today I called, because Chad didn't respond to two emails asking what is going on, and he said today that it might take three months to resolve. Now they want to come and pull out the eight-foot island piece to match it to the new slabs. Are you kidding me??? So many missed opportunities to catch this huge error (the two different colors even show up on AC's template!). We want a refund and be able to start somewhere where they actually hire professionals. Do not do remodel business with Home Depot OR Accent Interiors!! read more

The only reason there are not 5 stars here is because the disclaimer told us fancy things like "Care will be exercised during the installation; however, scrapes, punctures, and/or dings to wall surfaces may occur. Scratches and/or scrapes to cabinetry may also occur. Any existing backsplash may also be damaged. This is your responsibility to repair." I read that as "we might damage your stuff, but aren't liable for it." I covered everything I could to be sure that my cabinets weren't scratched. Luckily, the installers were top notch. Polite, accurate, and rather shocked I read all of the disclaimer and they were confused as to why my cabinets were all covered. My husband worked in construction for years and is really picky about the work being done. The seam is beautiful, the countertops are level and they made sure my stove would fit in the tight space before they left. They gave me options, the benefit of their professional opinion before the cut holes for my faucet. Really, their workmanship speaks for itself. I wish I knew the name of the contractor to mention them specifically. read more

What happens when a company (INC or LLC or S Corp, whatever) agree to complete a project they are hired for by a 3rd party (maybe a big corporate client one that has a great reputation and always pays the contracted company) but the work requested is not local to them? To succeed, they may hire a sub-contractor (who just happens to be expert in the required field) and why not, then the hired company has the work done by others, but gets the glory, ok - everybody wins right? Well .. let's go with The originally contracted company that hires the sub-contractors also requesting the sub buy all the material, and the job gets done; beautiful - and the client (big corporate company pays them) BUT ... the contracted company doesn't pay the sub-contractors? What happens? Goodness why would that happen??????????????????????????????????????? Here's a possibility - an example: company A, running business like no problem (but they are having problems) realizes there is a way to receive payment from client and not pay vendors. The possibility (potential technical loop) that --- while company A is struggling; someone somehow creates company B (maybe similar name? maybe same employees, maybe same address? maybe...) so company B can buy company A assets (pennies on the dollar - just a guess) and leave company A with all company A debt, starting company B with company A clients and no harm to public perception. Let's take this another step, while terrible example but for the sake of the complete hypothetical, is it possible company A not pay the sub-contractors legally (leaving ethics out of it of course)? Is it possible company B just moves forward and doesn't look back? No really, what happens if company A vaporizes, while company B (looks so much like company A (hypothetically operates at the same address as company A, conducts the exact kind of business as company A (but as company B)? Is it just bad luck, so sorry, for the sub-contractors? No payment required technically (hypothetically)? Just business - nothing personal??? Something "B" movies are made of or possibly, just guessing like the true stories on Dateline ... companies to beware of, doing business as ... company A and company B Accent surfaces, interiors - hypothetical? read more

The scheduling & installation process went smoothly & in a timely manner. Installers were kind & professional. They did a great job & cleaned up the work area well after the work was done. Customer service over the phone was great as well! read more

I originally left 1 star for Accent Granite. The first slab they brought out was not what we had chosen and I could not get anyone to return my phone calls. After the review was published, Andrew the owner of Accent called me to figure out what happened. He couldn't have been nicer. He sent me pictures of a new slab and apoligized for the problems. The next day I received a layout to approve. Today they arrived to install the new slab. It is perfect, just the color we wanted to match our kitchen. Andrew certainly went the extra mile to help us. Kudos to him. Great job! read more

My experience is very similar to others that have gone through a big-box store. However the problem wasn't the big-box store it was this company. Nobody seemed to know what was going on with my order ever. Nobody could return a call. I had to actually go there a couple of times to find out the status. They couldn't install on the date promised and had no good reason for the delay. As a last attempt I talked to the manager to see if he was willing to work to install on original date and he basically so no they couldn't do it and really didn't seem to care. In the end I cancelled my order and I will find somewhere else to go. read more

the only reason I'm leaving one star is that there is no way to give none!!!! this company has out and out lied about everything they claimed they would do, and a full month after paying these thieves i still do not have a completed project!!! they made a mistake during "templating"( they admit this) and did not prepare the proper pieces to do the installation COMPLETELY, but went ahead and tore my kitchen to bits and after absolutely destroying my walls they told me that i would have to do hundreds of dollars of repairs to fix the damage they did. they then said they would come back a week later to complete the job, but no one showed up. The " coordinator" then claimed she had spoke to me and said i had told her i was "not interested" (WTF???) in having them complete the job, but again that was an out and out lie, and i am still waiting for them to finish the job. BOTTOM LINE.... THESE GUYS SUCK!!!! DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID...... RUN AWAY FAR AND FAST!!!!!! read more

They kept our needs and budget front of mind throughout the process and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our results. They consulted with us every step of the way and were patient with us as first time remodelers. I was highly disappointed with their customer service. They say you have a rep you can call any time but they avoid talking to you because they don't want to tell you that your project has been pushed out yet again. We got a countertop for a tiny kitchen and expected it to be one piece but there was a seam that looked quite awkward. If a seam is unavoidable I think the least that can be done is talk with the customer about why and then agree to proceed. No conversation was had. On top of that it wasn't a straight seam it turned at the bottom. We tried to get a hold of them to ask why it was cut like that and so far its been weeks with no response. We even asked home depot to contact them on our behalf, which we believe they did. Also left voicemails and emails. After our own research we think we understand why it was done that way but why haven't they gotten in touch with us to explain why they did what they did????? Just crickets, nothing at all from them. It was a very expensive countertop, we expected more from them. read more

The selection and design experience was very helpful and stress free (thanks Ken). The pricing was very reasonable compared to other bids. And the installation team was fantastic. There's a common theme as I read through the reviews... if you go through Accent Interiors via Home Depot or Lowes, you don't matter to Accent Interiors. They'll get to you when they get to you. They should really consider changing "Customer Service" name to "You're bugging us, what do you need." Finally everything is done but will never go through Accent Interiors independently or via third party in the future. UPDATE: Got a call from Accent Interiors (owner I believe). I greatly appreciate the personal call and wanting to know what exactly happened from me directly. It goes to show that customer service can't be perfect all the time but if the company is willing to acknowledge the mistake and correct it then that goes along way with me! It took four times to measure. My job was THIRTY DAYS PAST DUE. In my opinion Accent interiors is understaffed and not organized. My kitchen remains in disarray but they said they would give me a deal on any future countertops. There are too many choices in this city to make the same mistake twice. So disappointed with them. The quality of the granite is amazing but it has been hell since first the guy had to template the counter tops twice since they screwed up the first time and then came to install and did not have all of the pieces with them and cut one slab not to specs. BEWARE! Accent was by far THE WORST company we worked with during our entire home renovation. They delayed our project by a month due to all their errors. The delays cost us time and money. It took 4 attempts to finally get our bathroom countertops installed. For the record these are just two regular sized bathrooms. They broke the first stone we picked (I guess that happens). They damaged the second stone during fabrication but still tried to install it. We had to send it back. They cut the holes for the sinks in one bathroom incorrectly, not once but twice. That means we had to go to the stone yard 3 more times. Every mistake delaying our project more than week each time. When they finally came nearly a month later to install our countertops, they dropped a piece of it, damaged our new hardwoods (that they did not repair) and broke the countertop. Yep, more delays. Then they wanted us to split the cost of new stone that they messed up. They lied to us telling us our project was complete and ready for install when they had not even begun. They would schedule install times and never arrive. They wouldn't return calls or texts, thus requiring us to repeatedly drive to their offices to speak to anyone. You may ask yourself, why didn't you get your money back or go somewhere else? We would have but they would not refund any of our money, and we didn't want to pay for all our stone twice. In hindsight, it would have been faster and cheaper to cut our losses and start over. You live and learn. Hopefully you can learn from our mistakes and STAY AWAY. If you like to be lied to, delayed, and overcharged, Accent is perfect you. If you like honesty, fairness and quality work, PLEASE go somewhere else, anywhere else. read more

I don't think I have had a worse experience with a company more than with Accent Interiors. We bought quartz counter tops for our kitchen in April (2016) and granite for our bathroom around November (2016). Everything went okay in the kitchen, but when we did the bathroom a day or two before the install they tell us they cant find the stone that we had picked out and already paid for. A few days later they find it and it takes another 2 weeks for them to come and install it. Then at the end of March (2017), we noticed a crack starting on the quartz in the kitchen. We called them before it had even been a year yet, after they came and looked at the crack we were told the warranty doesn't cover cracks and they wouldn't replace it but that they could fill it so that it doesn't get worse. It is still visible and you can feel it when you rub your finger over it. Also, when the service tech came to fill the crack he tells me that in 19 years of doing this he has never seen this happen before. Which tells me I was sold a faulty stone or it was installed wrong or damaged. I feel like we were treated very unethically. I will be telling everyone we talk to, to stay away from these guys and go somewhere else for your counter tops. read more

Unfortunately, there isn't an option for NO stars so I had to go with "1". Horrible experience with this company. We purchased through Home Depot and had our countertops installed this morning and the water to the entire house was shut off while we waited for the plumber to show up and install the new sink and hook up the existing plumbing. The installers left and told me to call the plumber and find out what time he would be here and it turns out Accent never called him to schedule my install and he was booked. I tried calling Accent and was told they would figure it out and call me back, which didn't happen. I called the store mgr. at Home Depot and he called Accent to find out what was going on. Meanwhile, Accent calls me to say the plumber would be here TOMORROW. I told Accent that was unacceptable as I was not going without water for 24 hours, to which they replied that it normally takes 24 hours for the plumbing. I let them know this was a lie since the installers were saying the plumber would arrive any moment. Luckily I found a plumber on my own and he said he could be here in 30 minutes. Home Depot called again to say they told Accent that 24 hours was not acceptable and Accent was finding another plumber. I let Home Depot know we already have a plumber on the way and they are refunding our plumbing fee. Luckily we had Home Depot to call and have them step in since Accent had zero intention of making this right on their own. After they talked to Home Depot they finally called and said they could get a handy man out here tonight. I told them to never mind since I already resolved this on my own. I LOVE the help Home Depot offered-I would NEVER do business with Accent ever again. read more
