Chipped / damaged product

Accent countertops have been very difficult to work with. See the pictures to see for yourself. We went over a week without a kitchen because they originally brought the wrong material but after seeing them come back almost looks as if it's the same material. The contractor also rigged the one he brought to work, and now it has resulted in a huge crack. I have texted the lady and accent countertops have a communication issue and never want to get back to us in a timely manner. We really just want the promise that was told after spending a lot of money on a new kitchen. We just want our old kitchen back at this point and it's sad how long this job has taken our kitchen is quite small

No dishwasher brackets which we paid for.

We ordered countertops through Home Depot and it turned out that Accent was the subcontractor. The countertops didn't have the dishwasher brackets we paid for, didn't have the bullnose edge we were talked into, and weren't squared so that my standard, 30"-wide stove wouldn't fit. The opening is too narrow. They aren't cooperative on getting their error fixed, will only come when we can't be there because we work, and aren't returning my calls. Once they have it in and your money is forwarded to them, you don't seem to matter. When we finish our basement, we will need more countertops. Needless to say, Accent won't be the ones we go to.

The gentlemen who arrived to remove our old countertops and install our new ones were professional and accommodating. There was a point where I had an issue in one area and they immediately offered an acceptable solution. Communication prior to our install was appreciated. Thanks, Accent.

Totally left unfinished, they could've finished this before they left. Not sure why they did

This company has subcontracted from Home Depot, I love the staff in the St George store. They have been by my side, supporting me throughout this issue with the subcontractors. As for the subcontractors Accent Countertops , I regret the day that I allowed these people into my house. This experience has been very trying! Speaking to their representatives was condescending and frustrating. They have no customer service integrity. There is no delay due to supply issues, they had everything they needed, the problem was is the person that came and did the template appointment to measure, measured three of the sinks wrong! So they tore everything up, figured out it wouldn't work, then had to take everything back out and back to the shop located in Salt Lake City. They don't know when they'll be back, did I mention they want more money because they made a mistake? As I tried to resolve this problem, I was treated in a horrific manner, I then went to Home Depot where I watched the rep there being disrespected as well. My advice, don't let Accent Countertops into your home! I am still without a kitchen sink, countertops, and two bathroom sinks. My birthday and Thanksgiving may be ruined. If this isn't resolved soon I will lawyer up! God bless you as you look for a contractor, just do use Accent.

Horrible experience with these people. They took our measurements wrong and cut the entire thing wrong. They didn't put back our stove and when we tried to put it back it didn't fit and we ended up chipping our new countertops day 1. Called and told them about it and they came back out and got the stove to "fit" except it doesn't fit as far back as it should and sticks way farther out than the rest of the countertops and looks stupid and cheap. They cut the stone wrong and won't admit it. I called to see what they can do and the manager, Chad, insists that the stove was put back exactly as it was before. Okay, no, this is my house and I know how the stove sat before because I live here. Manager is insisting everything is as it should be. Well see how this plays out, but I would not recommend this company by any means! Update: They came back to fix it. THIS WAS THEIR 3RD VISIT!! Still insisted it was my fault. And then the guy goes and cuts the countertop bigger to make the stove fit. PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS MY FAULT, DID YOU OR DID YOU NOT HAVE TO MAKE A BIGGER CUT TO FIT THE STOVE? Be accountable for your work! Jeez! The only reason we worked with these people is because they came to us through Home Depot. That's pretty embarrassing that Home Depot would chose to contract work through such a unprofessional company. If you get countertops through Home Depot, make sure they don't send Accent Interiors!

Attic counter workspace

We got a beautiful result with accent. After some consultation and iteration with their team we found the right material for kitchen and attic. Both spaces came out beautiful! The installers went above and beyond by removing extra demo materials out for us even though it wasn't really their job. Overall we are very happy with the finished product.

The installers did not do a good job. They installed the countertop crooked and I can't get them to return my calls to get it fixed.

The crew showed up right on schedule, protected the surrounding cabinets and floors, and finished the install in a single day no mess, no drama. It's rare to find contractors who blend craftsmanship, clear communication, and fair pricing so well, but Evertops nailed it. We've recommended them to all of our friends, and wouldn't hesitate to do the same for anyone who has a project to do. They're the so responsive, reasonable, fair, and easy to work with. And the work they do is very high quality. Jon and his crew are great at keeping costs within budget and are great at finding solutions to the problem that come up with any project. The first one we worked with them on was a bathroom remodel that we started with a different contractor, but had to change up about a quarter of the way in. Jon rescued the remodel and delivered on our vision within timeline and on budget. They even went back and fixed some issues created by the old contractor without adding to our bid. They also did two amazing custom solutions to accommodate our special requests. And the whole project turned out amazing. The second project was a custom metal fence. The Current Trend crew again did excellent work making the vision we had come through, even though it all had to be fabricated and built from scratch. If you need something done to improve your home, Jon is the best person we've found to work with. He's a great communicator, problem solver, so trustworthy, and just a really good guy. You can't really go wrong reaching out to him and the Current Trend crew.

They were wonderful with my Mom. Froylan took the time to explain everything to her. He asked her how to place the grab bars that would work best for her and how high the bench should be. I would like to preface this review with two things: 1. 5…read morestar offers a discount on their work if you leave a good review, be weary of what you read on here. 2. We have had this company complete both a kitchen and a bath remodel. The issues I will bring up were consistent with both of these jobs. During both of our remodels, the biggest complaints I had were communication and quality. Two big components that a company should really pride themselves on if they cared about their customer base. Communication for our projects failed at almost every step of the way. The conversations had between us and the salesman were great, and then almost every single interaction that was not only had between us and the company but the company within themselves was comically poor. Some examples include: 1. Being told we would have a project manager come to our house prior to the project to check out our attic for structural questions (no one ever came before they started knocking down walls) 2. There were days workers would show up when we didn't know they were coming and not show up on days we were told they were supposed to be there. Not to mention the tile workers who had their truck parked outside our house from 8-5 but stayed in there late and left early to smoke. 3. Several unanswered/not returned calls and texts from the project managers. The only time the office reached out to tell us about something? When the bill was "due" even though our project wasn't complete yet. 4. Our salesman saying a project would take 3 weeks when in reality, it's been 3.5 months and there are still issues. 5. Anytime we asked the current workers what the plan was for the next day or really anything, they NEVER knew. They didn't know who was going to be working, they didn't know when, and they didn't know on what. 6. Several of the workers telling us point blank that their fellow workers screwed up and did things wrong. Good thing we caught it I guess? 7. Tile was about to be installed until I noticed it was not the right time, and the workers had no idea and they didn't know what tile they were actually supposed to put down or in what pattern. Then tile had to be ordered, delaying us even further. 8. The list goes on and on. It's as though no one in the company ever talks to each other, or their customer, and we're left trying to put the pieces together. Secondly, their quality of work is not worth what you pay, not even close. There has not been a single thing that they've done that we haven't had to ask them to fix or redo. This adds time to the project, financial strain on us as customers, and not to mention the stress of constantly acting as a project manager. We have had MAJOR things need to be redone (I'm talking walls needing to be taken apart and rebuilt, cabinet and ceiling painting, relocating outlets, and an ENTIRE SHOWER FLOOR), as well as other things (paint chipped walls, bad putty jobs, grout crumbling, paint splattered inside and outside the house and on and on) and all of it was because no one from their team cares enough to do it right the first time. The pictures I will include show *finished* products that they think are appropriate to leave as a job well done. Not only that, but just this last time when pointing out that the glass they had "special ordered" was actually measured wrong and therefore our shower door is crooked, I was told that my "OCD will just have to live with it." This company is not worth your time or effort. I would never recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will be wasting your time and money to have a poorly installed…read morebathroom experience. Please look elsewhere. So from start to finish this process took 5 months (though arguably I'd say it still isn't done). The communication was terrible from the get-go. For example "Hi Taylor, this is XXX with Whitewater. Your installer will arrive tomorrow between 2:00-5:00" So, at 5:20 I text them " Hi XXX. No one every showed up.... Can we get an update". They respond the next day how they are sorry they had left the office and asked if the installer ever got there. They did, but it was well after 6:00. They never called to say they would be late, no update, nothing. They don't care about or value your time. One day they just showed up un-announced, and we had dates moved because of conflicts that came up the day before. It was terrible. The first installation (yes, you read that right, it was so bad they had to come back and do it again) we had massive gaps between panels (over a quarter of an inch), poorly printed panels (white coming through because the print caught and split during creation), cuts that didn't fit and left spaces. It was incredibly amateur. They didn't bring enough material to finish wrapping the window so they had to come back. The man who came back was appalled at the first job and said "I'm going to redo it. We need to cover the gap between the panels, this was printed poorly, etc." He called it out. He was embarrassed by their work. So he comes back and redoes it. Now I'm looking at his work, and it's still absolute garbage. The whole top edge isn't sealed, meaning we could easily get water behind there and have incredible damage. They didn't even finish fully wrapping the top. There are gaps between the wall and the shower walls where I can fit my whole pinky. Part of me wants them to come back and fix their shit, but I'm so done with them that I'm going to hire someone else who is actually qualified and will do the job right the first time. We have 2 more bathrooms that need to be redone and we will certainly not be calling Whitewater. I really hope this encourages others to do the same. They don't deserve your business.
