Auction liquidation, Inc. travels from state to state far from their corporate headquarters to sell…read moreitems. Reviews on the web suggest that items are not authentic. Had my own difficulties. Their contract does not allow you to take them to court, but only to arbitration in their hometown. Perjuring themselves during arbitration is not may be immoral but it is not illegal and enforceable by law. Only way to resolve the dispute: you have to get a copy of their contract which they get you to sign but don't get you a copy of during the auction. The contract says the auctioneer is not liable for what he says which goes against auctioneer law and so you can report them to the state auctioneer board where you purchased the item. That is the only way to get your money back. Otherwise their contract is ironclad designed by lawyers. Good luck.

All of the dresses here seemed to be very affordable (I tried on lots of dresses, all under $1500) and I was able to find one on sale for an amazing price. They looked just as nice as dresses that were going for $2K+ at other stores! McCall was super helpful in assisting with getting the dresses on and off as well - I went solo shopping so it was nice to have her in my corner. I really appreciate Carrie's for delivering quality service without breaking the bank. Some other bridal shops wanted to charge an appointment fee just to come and try on dresses. I highly recommend coming to Carrie's!

From the very beginning, she took the time to really listen to what I wanted in a dress and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. She pulled a wide variety of gowns that fit my style and vision, and I never once felt rushed or pressured. When I narrowed it down to two favorites, Kayla was so patient and thoughtful. She walked me through the pros and cons of each dress, asked great questions, and helped me see how each one could work for my big day. Her genuine care and encouragement made all the difference--I truly felt supported every step of the way. If you're shopping at Carrie's, do yourself a favor and ask for Kayla. She went above and beyond to make the experience special, and thanks to her I found a dress I absolutely love!

You can see the screenshots I reference below on their…read moreFacebook page, as I cannot attach them here on Yelp. https://www.facebook.com/atlantaestates/ -- The Vintage Girls run an unprofessional business and the slew of negative reviews that have been posted since my review are evidence. I emailed the Vintage Girls and provided them with specific explanations for my review (***after they threatened to sue me***), which they have ignored and rather chosen to publicly take our conversations out of context and twist them into falsities. As I've told Vintage Girls, I have no interest in this drama, but I would like to respond to a few details of their slanderous response and also provide the reader with more context: Here's a quote from my review: "At the beginning of the process, they communicated pretty regularly. It took a little prodding on my end to get the date of the sale finalized, the contract finalized, etc. but it was fairly painless." The first screenshot attached backs that experience. Here's a flagrant tale from The Vintage Girls: "She did not answer the phone, so a text message was sent to her asking what was going on, that our team was told that there had been a party there and that there were people still sleeping and beer cans and trash in the home. Julia-Ann's response was "let me step outside and finish my joint and then we'll get everything cleaned up"." If you look at my second screenshot, I did send a text in reference to a joint being inside the house which was a joke and was made because of their grossly dramatic response to three beer cans being in my kitchen. I did not have a party the night prior - I had four almost-thirty-year-old women over to watch a football game. Third screenshot: I reached out to a disgruntled reviewer who posted in 2010 to see if the Vintage Girls confuted her review, and it was no surprise that they had. This company has been bullying their clients since at least 2010, folks. Thankfully I was able to defend myself from The Vintage Girls by citing Georgia's anti-SLAPP motion. If you are in a similar situation as me with the Vintage Girls, this article will help you sleep tonight: http://www.lawcounts.com/blog/92-anti-slapp-gets-a-big-boost-in-ga.  My last screenshot is the response I received from The Vintage Girls after my email citing the anti-SLAPP motion. These women are unprofessional bullies. RUN.

Be wary!!! The overall experience was ok. They removed a lot…read moreof the stress from the entire process. However, make sure you read the contract before you agree to hiring their services. They have regulations, conditions, and penalties that they do not mention/disclose when they are trying to get your business. In my case, the contract was not delivered to me in electronic or hard copy form until the end of the Estate Sale. Effectively after the fact!!! When it came to receiving a check from them, I had the following issues: 1. The check was late and delivered close to a week later after I complained. 2. For personal reasons I removed three objects from the pool of items to be sold the day before the Estate Sale. Without consultation or warning they went ahead and deducted the 40% of the "expected" sale price for the removed items, claiming research and marketing fees. 3. I lived in a subdivision where Estate Sale signs are not allowed and where visitor parking restrictions are very strict. Consequently, I had a person stationed at the subdivision gates to operate/open them for the Estate Sale customers for five (5) hours both days of the sale. That was a person who did not receive any compensation for his work from this vendor. 4. This vendor reserves the right to charge a 3% penalty fee for the homeowner being in the home during the set up and the Estate Sale. Had I known that I was not supposed to be in the house at the time of the set up or the Estate Sale I would have complied. I must admit they did not charge me with this fee mainly because I did not interfere with their work in any manner; on the contrary, I helped them as much as I could including carrying heavy furniture to the buyers' cars.
