We were spoiled ourselves since we stayed at Hotel Weber Ambassador so it was only a short block from our room. Tucked away on the south part of the island this tiny strip is paradise. Water is perfect temperature to take a dive so anticipate to spend the afternoon here if you can! There's a few restaurants on the beach that offer chairs if you don't have a mat or towel. Do it!!! They also have beach chairs we rented for $25 a day. Multiple beach front restaurants next door as well. Staff were great and they cleaned the room daily. They had bag service that met our driver at the top and brought our bags down & back up on exit day. No bad words, I'd give more stars if possible!

Perfect walking distance from all the sights ans shopping that Sorrento has to offer. When we checked in, one of the owners showed us through the hotel, which is renovated, and beautifully done. Our room was on the second floor facing away from the street, overlooking a small lemon & orange grove. The owner showed us all the renovations that they have done, including the new elevator that they have recently installed. It is clear to see that this family is very proud of their beautiful hotel, and are making sure to keep it up and renovated. We had booked a "King" bed room, and we were surprised at how large it was. The room was bright, and clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and we had no problems sleeping as we found it to be very quiet in the evenings. The room windows are equipped with an electric shutter system that very effectively darkens the room, and certainly cuts out a lot of the ambient noise from outside. We had opted to have breakfast included and the breakfast was wonderful, as was the cappuccino, and café Americano. We absolutely loved the Hotel Mignon, and will definitely stay there again next time we visit Sorrento. My wife and I fell in love with this hotel.

Our room was a suite with two balconies, and a picturesque view of the sea and Mt Vesuvius. Our room felt secluded and private. Beautiful and comfortable sofa and chairs in the room with all the bathroom amenities you would want. We would love to come back and spend more than the four nights we were there! I would highly recommend the hotel installing some safety features in the shower, as it is very slippery and there are no rails in the shower to hold on to. I would imagine someone has probably slipped. The breakfast was enjoyable and relaxing, the omelet maker girl was very nice! We really enjoyed walking the grounds including the cave to the waterside. It was a beautiful pool and very relaxing with drinks. I would also recommend the hotel accommodate travelers who would like to mail a post card and do it for them. Most hotels will mail it and even put the postage on the card. I would also recommend water to be handed out at the concierge or lobby desk for NO CHARGE. We had to pay 7 euros for one large bottle. We have stayed at other hotels and they just ask how many boxes of water we would like. This hotel is close walking into town, we would definitely go back!
