I've been a senior resident in the Oconomowoc School Apartments since it's first year of opening (2012). I've had two apartments here and pay full market rent. Maintenance now in 2022 has become poor and it has been difficult to retain maintenance men, primarily to the low wages ACC pays. One of the attractions had been the amenities that come with the rent - a Fitness room, an equipped Business center and garage parking. The garage floor has been cleaned perhaps twice since opening. The Business center has been closed for the last three years and the heat serving the Fitness room has had to be turned on at the beginning of every cold season. It has not been turned on yet this season (Dec 9, 2022) and morning temperatures have ranged between 57 and 59, and we are not even in severe cold winter yet. I have brought this to the attention of the current manager several times. There has been no correction to this. Many residents wait very long times for even the basic plumbing repairs, lighting, filter changes, etc. maintenance services. And yes, the rent is increasing every year. I was forced to move out when I found A LOT OF MOLD after vacuuming around and under furniture at Breezewood Village, ACC in Hartland. Manager didn't do ANYTHING. I SHOULD HAVE SUED. My friend as my witness said it was the reason I was always sick and fatigued. Now, living elsewhere I was going to apply at Dartford Bay, ACC in Green Lake. The lobby and community room smell musty. The Manager denied smelling it but residents admitted to me, THEY SMELL IT! DO NOT RENT FROM ACC, THEY DO NOT INSPECT, AND WHEN MOLD IS DETECTED, THEY IGNORE YOU. read more

Greetings, Currently tenant @ MLK Library Apartments. Located in Milwaukee, WI In apartment is a faulty refrigerator. Boswell technicians & MLK maintenance inspected refrigerator. Part had been replaced in October 2025. Tech adjusted vent in freezer 2026. The issue has not been resolved. I've contact Mckay, Leasing office and asked for a reimbursement because of discarding of food. No reply from leasing office. City Housing inspected. No power to assist. I NEED A REPLACEMENT REFRIGERATOR. MLK visited apartment June 30, 2026. Stated they would schedule an appointment 4th person to inspect faulty frig. It was dented & scratched when I moved in unit. I reached out & left a message to ACC property. Receptionist is ordered not to transfer or provide emails addresses to the Hands, Justin, Jeff, etc. I've reached out ACC mgmt. during office hours. Not sure if Courtney, receptionist is screening my calls. Texted the person who I was told she's oversees MLK Library Apts. in July 2026. She has not responded to my text. I have place masking tape around screens because they don't fit. I had a male on my floor in the halls come up & touch me. I have been without hot water three times & MLK never replied. There was damage under kitchen counter because contactor did connect cord properly. Someone took my package outside the building on July 4th, 2026. I left message for leasing office to see if cameras could locate person Of course, no reply either way. ACC Property Management my rent for 2026. But, I can't receive a replacement refrigerator, or new fitted screens, and be compensated for all the food be discarded. My visitors don't have access to my apartment. It does not work. Correction: ACC Property Management increased my rent. I see people smoking on patio. The hallway carpets are stained in some areas. I've taken the initiative to clean window in lobby; clean trash room with my own chemicals. My dryer was out of commission for a week. Reached to GE tech support. Team was not able to troubleshoot the problem over phone and to contact leasing office. I did. I left text or voicemail message. If my portion could be prorated. No reply from office. As of today, July 13, 2026, I am still discarding of foods. Correction: Contractor Did Not connect cord properly. This information was shared with another maintenance employee. read more

Rent payments not processed correctly more than once resulting in eviction threats, no apology even after they found it was their mistake. Property mgr demanding all residents to provide her w xcel energy login credentials by the end of the day which is not legal. Dangerous repair issues ignored for 2+ years even w monthly written repair requests. The property mgr is incompetent and is doesnt have any people skills what so ever. This company's subterfuge is almost as hard to miss as their incompetency! They make mistakes alot and refuse to remedy them or even acknowledge them. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with my recent experience while working with Laura in McFarland, WI, regarding a rental unit. I acted quickly to secure a cashier's check as instructed and submitted it promptly for the Limerick units. After that, however, I received no further communication. I attempted to follow up multiple times via email and text, and even visited the office in person--only to be told the computers were down. I was waiting for a status update on my application and was informed that if I did not qualify, I would receive a letter in the mail. Today, I called again and was told that N name s no longer with the company, and to my surprise, the person I spoke with couldn't even locate my application in the system. I am now out the $25 application fee and feel like my time and effort were completely wasted. More importantly, I feel misled and ignored throughout this process. I would appreciate an explanation of what happened, whether my application was ever processed, and if a refund of the application fee is possible. They allow their property managers to access seniors' living space with no knowledge while they are away and steal personal property. They do not keep rodent and insect infestation under control. They do not interact in a respectful or professional manner often using threatening tones when a resident makes attempts to bring issues to the attention of the PM. Perhaps this would affect the year-end bonus. The elderly are under duress and stress because they will be threatened with conviction and only a few days to vacate the property. read more

Our currant manager, Jeremy has neither the training or the personality to be a manager. He's a maintenance man ACC sent over just to have someone in the office 2 days a week. He doesn't keep to the terms of our lease and allows fire code violations, that endanger the safety of all the senior residents living here. When a person tries to talk to him about their concerns, he gives you double-talk or makes threats. He has out-right lied to residents, and has shown favoritism to one resident in particular. These people are fraudulent. They count income that you do NOT receive. They raised my rent to $859 because Diane, the lady in the office at University Gardens, aka "Kettle Ridge,." They are NOT even trying to investigate the fraud they commit, and it's not right and not fair. I've contacted the owner, Chris Hand, but to no avail. The ad in the picture offers to rent two bdrm for $850, but my rent is $859. I'm low-income; Diane knows I do not get the income she's counting. I desperately looking for a lawyer, and I'm taking Diane to court. You will NEVER have a day of peace. I have 53 notices to enter, sign paperwork, etc... ACC loves to bully people and finds the bullied in school people to work for them. This is a HORRIBLE company, with the lowest form of employees. I don't have a criminal history or evictions. Their staff have denied every single one of my applications and will not provide a legal non vague reason as to why. I have reached out to management several times about the noise coming from the neighbor that lives above me. I live at city place apartments in milwaukee WI and have lived here for 6 year when I first moved here I loved it now I dread coming home and I especially dread being at home on the weekends. Because the tenant above allows her 4 year old granddaughter to run and jump and stomp over my head. The response I got from management about the situation is there's nothing they can do about it and because I've complained so many times and I have every text message I've ever sent manage I believe the neighbor is making noise on purposes. I would like for someone to put themselves in my shoes to see how it feels to have to sit and listen to noise and especially on the weekends it's worse. I've called the main office several times and nobody cares about me as the tenant all they care about is the $1400 rent I paid to acc management every month. read more

When you are waiting to get something fixed, it takes a long time. Waited 7 months to get a faucet fixed. Had to turn of the water for 3 weeks until they came to fix it. Over 6 months to get my washer fixed. I used my neighbors washer. Don't even get me started on lights. They are up so high that someone has to get a ladder to change them. Twice we were suppose to get our dryer vents cleaned, both times canceled. read more
