They had the documents prepared well in advance for our review via email, and it was no problem for the husband to sign a week early due to being out of town. But again, with the weird closing times! The buyer had requested an end of the month closing, so I'm sure they were super busy, but 7AM? Really? The only good news was that when the husband signed, they told me not to show up until 7:15 since I wouldn't be needed right away. Overall though, I was happy with the service we got from Assurance. No need to drive to Appleton for a decent title company!

Offers, counter offers and closings were smooth, yet that was in big part to my sisters constant involvement, picking up Mom and taking to meetings and explaining offers and paperwork. Yes, she is a little short, as busy people are. And I felt that her post sale "thank you" to our family was trite considering several members were immensely involved in the land and home prep, providing historical information and scanned in documents to be able to answer questions like where the well discharges, what did the previous surveyor estimate the value at, and if tanks were removed..., plus updated the information ourselves on Zillow, Redfin and other sites including photos (which can take over a month to update over the major search engines) - A hand written note to members of the family would have gone a long way.

He noticed that his car was missing from the parking lot where he lives on June 23rd, 2022. Called the police thinking it had been stolen. Only yo find out that sure enough it WAS stolen. By Wisconsin auto title loans inc. In Oshkosh. They claimed it was repossessed due to failure to make payments, yet he has been paying faithfully since buying the car. According to the paperwork they're supposed to notify him if the auto is going to be repossessed. They didn't. Also when he contacted Wisconsin Auto Title Loans inc they played stupid claiming they didn't know what towing company had his car, and then promptly closed the office 4 1/2 hours early. By Friday morning his car was already down in Fon Du Lac for Sunday's auction. Despite the amount of calls he made to Wisconsin Auto Title loans and all the towing companies in the area it took the police to find out where his car was. Despite his paying for the loan every month, despite the legal documents and paperwork he has, according to his attorney this was all done ILLEGALLY and against the contract he had with Wisconsin auto title loans. Apparently this isn't the first time this company has broken its own contract with clients and stolen vehicles from them. This company is NOT one I would recommend unless you have the time and resources to hunt down your vehicle after they steal it.
