The fastest service ever, I think the best Mexican I have eaten so far! Staff is great, cannot just say our waiter cause wow what a team of individuals, one making sure we didn't run out of chips and salsa AND there is a sweeter one then we had a bit spicier one (still not HOT 11 yr old LOVED IT)! Good atmosphere m, even though busy could still have conversation at table and was seated immediately! Another fav in our RV life roadtrip! This is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant around. Great parking, plenty of space inside. As soon as you see seated they bring you warm chips and salsa (chunky with plenty of cilantro and onion. My favorite) then our waitress got our drink order and we ordered right away. In total we waited for our food for 5 minutes. Our bill came to $29.00 and the portions was huge and you cannot beat the taste or prices. I got the classic Chimichanga $13.49 one Beef and one chicken. Two chimichangas filled with shredded beef or chicken. Topped with cheese sauce and served with beans, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and tomato My husband ordered the burrito loco #13.49 A big burrito with beans, steak, chicken, onions, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, tomatillo sauce and topped with cheese sauce 1 Coke zero and water. Our fav place in Lebanon. So disappointed in lunch today. Ordered a shrimp quesadilla. Greasy and unappetizing. Didn't eat even half. Tried to sop up grease with a napkin but it didn't help. Hopefully won't happen again. Service was as great as usual. read more

Great Mexican Restaurant! Loved the ambiance and decorations, made me feel I was really in Acapulco Mexico. Food was excellent and service was outstanding. Despite them being super busy, the attention from the staff was great and service with a smile. Prices are very reasonable and food was tasty and delicious. We're not big fans of Mexican but really like "this" Acapulco. They are always busy, considering there are several other Mexican places near by, that are not busy. Typical menu, large portions served promptly. Better mixed drinks than most other places. Only 4 stars because the restaurant needs an overall refresh. read more

Came here with friends after a long day of hiking in nearby Yellow Springs. They said it was one of their favorite restaurants but I wasn't so sure from the outside. It's literally just in a strip mall. However I was blown away! We had great service and plenty of chips and salsa. They kept apologizing for things taking a while but I didn't think it really took that long. The arroz con maricos was the best I've ever had! Just such a good mixture of shrimp, tilapia, mushrooms, onions, and sauce. Just so delicious! Everyone else loved their food. Portions are good and prices are great. My wife and I recently had dinner here and it was great! The restaurant was very busy, but the employees could handle it and we got both great service and wonderful food. We both had wonderful chicken burritos that were covered with a generous layer of cilantro. Perhaps not everyone's preference, but we loved it. The salsa sauce was fantastic! It would be worth going back just for that! Should we ever find ourselves back in Lebanon, I'm confident this we will be going back. read more

Was the absolute worst meal ever. ordered carnitas with no rice, steak quesadilla, 3 taquitos and chicken tenders with fries. The carnitas portion was about half of what I would normally get and small fatty pieces. there was so much onion like over half. the beana were dry, bland and they didnt put any cheese on it. The flour tortillas were stale and hard, the quesadilla wasnt cut and was dripping beef fat, the french fries were hard and had no salt on them. the tenders were ok,but was given a child plate, which isnt what I ordered. the taquitos were done as flour tortillas, which theyre usually corn. read more

The food was fantastic for our party of nine. The food cake so fast, it was hard to believe. The service was incredible. They had to have checked on us almost 15 times during our meal. 15 times!!! Great new place we tried today! It is located in a strip mall, but don't let that deter you. The restaurant is very spacious. They have specials and even off lunch specials on Sunday. I got the burrito loco and it was filled with steak, chicken, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, onions, and sour cream. The service is fast and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend. read more

We recently started to eat here again after a 10+ year hiatus. It took a long time it seemed for Acapulco to modernize their menu with fresher ingredients and sides - for many years they had the "universal grey food" thing going and nothing green like cilantro in the entrees (only iceberg lettuce) - and we started to go to the other place in town. Today they're exactly on par with most Mexican restaurants with things such as street tacos, pico de gallo and verde sauces, etc. The main things to know: they have a ton of seating and the place is quite busy and full by 7 PM most evenings and is rather hectic. It seems to accommodate 2 to 300. This is a place that Lebanon goes to party, so you see margarita glasses that look like 1 gal fishbowls and 1 yard tall beer bongs at some tables. The main issue is service. It's is bad to OK, never that good. Language barrier is an enormous issue: I ask for shredded beef and get pork because the guy hardly understands spoken English even after I repeat myself multiple times, and asking for some common things leads to looks of total incomprehension. Another time the girl who waited on us totally forgot to run our check for 15 minutes. The iced tea tasted weak and old, like tea from a day ago was topped with fresh tea and I refused a refill. This joint is like everything else in Lebanon: accept the mediocrity because locals don't demand better and there is no competition for better. read more

The staff at all levels is very friendly. The service is prompt, accurate, friendly, and beyond excellent. The management has created a superb dining experience. All points of reference are top-notch. Chef, server staff, management, bussing and every level of service! If you like Mexican quizine Acapulco will not dissapoint. I most recently had the Chef Alcapolco steak. But I've never been disappointed with any dish I've tried. Tracy U was apparently here on Cinco de Mayo when the place would have been way more busy than any other day of the year. I would guess she might have arrived expecting disappointment but they may have been swamped for sure. I would encourage her to give it another go some day. Give it a go. We love this restaurant for large gatherings with family because the food is always excellent, the menu has something for everyone, and the service never fails to be perfect. It's always well staffed here, the food is fast, the chips are always ready as soon as you get to your table. The carne asada tacos are our favorite, the fresh guacamole is a must as well. read more

This is your typical Mexican restaurant. You are met at the table with chips and salsa as soon as you arrive. *Note* this salsa is spicy, which I love, but they will bring you a more mild salsa if you request it. I have always been impressed with the service and attention here. The food is great quality and is served piping hot, we are talking 3rd degree burn if you touch the plate, and it tastes great. They will make special orders. I love their chorizo and usually just ask for a chorizo & cheese quesadilla which is not on the menu. They have always happily prepared it with no issues. *Note* their chorizo is on the salty side, so if that is not your thing you may want to go with something else one the menu. I do not care at all for their margaritas. Which is a shame because come on you're a Mexican restaurant. Other than that they are a great addition to Lebanon where there is not a whole lot of variety. read more

We love this place. Definitely the 'Go To Place' when we are craving something from South of the Border. The beauty of this establishment is first, the people who work at this place. We've been there probably 50x and we have never had an issue with the folks that are working. The food is always delicious and there is always leftovers for lunch/dinner the next. My only issue, yes there is an issue and only because I am kind of selective about the salsa and hot sauces. The have the red and unusually green El Yucateko that are kind of gross to me so I always bring my own bottle of hot sauce(always brand new sealed bottle) with me and I offer the leftover bottle to the server. But back the food, always delicious, always hot and always way too much for a normal adult human to consume in one sitting. We've checked in here one time on this application. We've eaten Herrera at least two doze times. It is definitely the best place in Lebanon for Mexican style food. We lived in the birder and really got to the live the Tex Mex and would love to see Acapulco adD a few Tex Mex dishes, like an fried stuffed avocado. But otherwise it won't stop us from eating here. I've been going to Acapulco's it seems like since we moved to Lebanon, 10+ years ago. I can't even believe the service we got last evening in Aug. 3, 2021. Granted my friend and I showed up at 9:25 pm. There was an older lady sweeping in the foyer. I asked if they were closed. Rudely, she stated...we close at 9:45. Walked inside. There was a man at the register. Asked what time they closed. Rudely stated 9:45. Our waiter came, took us to a table. We asked what time did they close...very nicely stated that they closed at 10pm and that we were fine. My friend stated...the other two don't seem like they want us to eat here. He laughed and said...yes. There were two other tables and about 5 people at the bar. We ordered our food and was out the door before 10pm, as the other customers were still seated. A manager/not their waiter/ came out to the other tables and asked how their food was. Never came to our table. I won't even go into how my taco salad looked. I did go to front and ask my waiter for cheese for my salad. He stated...I will get you more. I in return stated...More?? There is no cheese on my salad. The owner was not there. He knows me and my family and is the friendliest and kindest man. We literally eat here all the time, rather dine-in or carry-out. I pray the owner is coming back and he just happened to not be there. If these are the new owners...I WILL NEVER RETURN. read more

Usually can be seated under five minutes or less. Service is typically quick and accurate. Chips are filled within a good time frame. Salsa is decent, although not the best. Prices are reasonable and food is hot and pretty good. It's actually the best, Mexican restaurant in a good 25 mile radius (of Lebanon). I haven't been able to find a restaurant that has excellent salsa. Still looking for that hole in the wall that has it all. read more
