This is a constructive review. Their fruits (Banana Strawberry Blueberries) are not organic which is inadequate for a "healthy" restaurant. Also Traditionally açaí bowls are definitely highly regarded in presentation & health. Which contradicts the low quality at "açaí world". The fruits were cut into big chunks which is strange and difficult to eat when scooping into a spoon full of açaí and other ingredients in the bowl. The presentation is sloppy and rushed. My lid was not shut correctly. Also why do you advertise you carry an array of ingredients and have to apologize you run out of something to your customer? Customers like to feel comfortable and definitely not awkward when asking for an ingredient while being let down by the expectations you list on your board. Unprofessional etiquete is the normal here? Employee taking the order was very bland and unwelcoming. The vibes were off. The music is really loud and interferes with customer interaction especially during this time when we can barely hear each other through a mask and a Plexiglass. Their acai bowls are good with fresh fruit and very well proportioned for their price. I also had their sandwich #1 and it was delicious! And they provided me and my friend with a complimentary jar of water for FREE! Customer service is awesome and their restrooms are clean and tidy along with baby wipes if you are having some stomach problems! Very average bowl of acai. I got the number 2. The bananas weren't too fresh. The strawberries were super sweet, which I loved. It was just an average bowl. There's nothing too crazy or delicious about the bowl. Because of the reviews, I was expecting so much more and something extremely delicious. It was a very pricey and mediocre bowl of very acai. Don't think I will be here again. Very "meh". This place is a combination of acai/food & health/vitamin store. The employee just sat on one of the tables looking at his phone. I used to love coming here until today! Very upset with the customer service! I got the pegode acai bowl, as always. For some reason it was brown and tasted chocolatey. I always get this acai bowl and went inside to ask him if he can make me a new one. His response? "It's the same acai package we always use" with an attitude! The least he can do is satisfy the costumer and remake it. This wasn't the response I thought I was going to get! read more

I called ahead of time to check what time they closed because it was unclear on Google and Yelp which one was correct. After calling 3 times and being sent straight to voicemail one call, they finally picked up. They confirmed that they closed at 6 and when I arrived at 5:53 to order just one bowl they had already shut the door with bars on it and turned off the close sign. They closed early and I assume it's because I made that call and knew I was coming. This is poor customer service, I would expect an establishment like this one to understand when people have no choice but to show up later than they would like. I guess not, they chose not to serve me and left me standing outside after traveling 15 minutes. Especially with the gas prices right now nearly closing in at $7 a gallon, this was very unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude. Save the customer the trip next time and tell them you don't want to serve them before you close. Thanks. read more

This is my first time here and my last time here, you ask them to create your own bowl because on the menu it gives you the option to. You tell them what you want on your custom bowl and they add extra stuff that I can't eat. Obviously if I could eat it I would of asked for it, but instead I was there playing with my food having to eat around it. I just got fed up and threw the bowl away wasn't worth wasting my time. The texture of the Acai was okay at best putting a base like milk(soy/almond/coconut) or even water just slightly with help it not feel so dry. But I guess if you have nowhere else to get your Acai from you have no other option. Thank you for your service Acai world but I won't be coming back. read more

I was looking for a healthier alternative to fast food on my way to Whittier this week when I came across Açai world. Parking was easy and the location was easy to find too. You can't miss the big sign outside. I walked in and was immediately greeted. My niece wanted a sandwich and the guy at the front was very attentive and willing to accommodate her order. Because it was our first time here, it did take us a few minutes to finish ordering but the cashier was patient and understanding. We ended up getting two sandwiches, Açai bowl, and two drinks for $30. Price was decent and the portions were big. The sandwiches are loaded with meat and other ingredients! Half a sandwich is pretty filling on its own. My niece said that she "gives this place a 10! It's so good" lol. Will definitely comeback to try other menu items. read more

This place rocks! Besides being healthy and good for u, the sandwiches here are filling and dont taste boring. The pesto sauce is awesome on the MFD, which comes on a whole grain bread or in a wrap. If u want to ditch the carbs, u can get it as a salad. The acai bowls are also very tasty and fresh, this is another good go-to spot after or before the gym. I love that they also sell supplements here and the staff is very knowledgable about what they sell. If u want a good protein shake, ask for the Miley Mike Special. Ive been a very big fan of açaí for the past four years. Ive tried to find the best tasting/price bowl for a while and I think I found it here. The portion is great, the price is amazing and the taste is one that the other competitors can't get. The acai tastes extremely authentic like it was straight from South America. My mother got a sandwich and the size was more than enough and with a great flavor. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it took a while for the food to be finished. Great Place, first time there just happen to be next to my tax prep. And i happen to just walk in to grab a smoothie and i found myself in front if a good menu, i ordered and the food was good. Affordable, healthy, nice customer service and great set up, i highly recommend this place read more

I work in same building and I am glad to have a healthy alternative, they have sandwiches, juices, fruit bowls and vitamins too. I only wish they had organic coffee or teas that would be the bomb. Great customer services.. read more

Great acai combinations n not just that but delicious sandwiches and smoothies. Its a very rare to find good authentic acai but if you happen to drop by, youve found it. Also dont forget to ask for it dirty !!! read more
