Dropped by this unexpectedly, the açaí smoothie is great! Will come back when I'm back in the SF area.

I went in with lower expectations because açaí bowls never feel super special, but this one had so many different textures with the goji berries, granola, chia seeds, etc. I loved how the base was also layered so you got a whole mix of flavors. The small initially looked tiny, but it was actually quite filling. Will definitely come back if I'm ever craving something refreshing and fruity!

The Palmetto here is located just inside the main entrance right next to Blaze Pizza. Walk up to the order station and let your choices be known! No fear, as the service here was attentive and courteous when I went. My usual is the generic "Just Acai" bowl to which I can add whatever toppings I want, which are usually the honey almond granola, strawberries, but I just skip the final "finishes" - maybe that's just me. Works for me! Typical Mall vibe here, with just a couple of small benches to sit down to enjoy your treats in front, or head up to the food court upstairs to consume. All in all, one of the better places for an acai bowl or smoothie.

This location is really close to my work, which was great. I stopped by on a Tuesday at 1:30pm and there were only a few customers inside. I like the simple decor and the big menu on the wall, it reminded me of Hawaii. I ordered the original gangster and waited less than 5 minutes before it was ready. The açaí was not too sweet (just how I like it), and I loved all the toppings that came with it such as the granola, banana, blueberry, coconut shavings, and honey. The strawberry was a bit too tart but other than that, everything was great. I think I've found my favorite açai spot in the city. I can't wait to try other flavors next time I stop by.

I find the Green Goliath to be pretty unique, as well as the Original Gangster. I love the light, airy, and plant-filled interior. They also have some good "happy hours" for cheaper poke bowls, acai bowls, smoothies, and bone broths. Service is kind, friendly, and efficient. I love this location in Nob Hill? Polk Gulch? Very bikeable, walkable, and bus-able.

What restaurant staffs two people at a time on a weekend??? How are employees supposed to keep up with demand and be able to take breaks? It feels like the owners are money hungry and uncaring about staff health and happiness. My friend and I went to grab bowls before heading to the park today and it took an hour and 20 minutes to receive them. And that absolutely wasn't because of the employees, who were working themselves to the bone to keep up with demand. Customers and especially delivery drivers were getting increasingly rude and irritated with the employees as the wait times got longer and longer; the employees were as nice as possible as they responded to people demeaning them and drivers arguing with them. The owners need to get a grip and provide appropriate staffing or allow employees to pause delivery services when they're slammed. Just because people will keep buying your acai bowls even after a bad experience like this, doesn't make it right that you treat your employees so poorly. They deserve better!

It was super hot in here so I think they need an AC. I think Cafe de Casa also used to make them, but I haven't been in a couple of years. The Brazilian Spot offers açaí bowls, baked goods, and juices on the menu, as well has a small, hot buffet-style section where I think you pay by weight. There's also shelves of imported, Brazilian grocery items on the left wall, which is pretty cool if you're looking for more specialized goods that aren't typically available in your regular grocery store. There's a handful of tables and chairs, but not a lot of seating otherwise. The pão de queijo was still warm in the bag when we picked them up. Their version was too salty and dense for my taste; the pão de queijo of my memories from that spot on Balboa Ave was bouncier and airier than The Brazilian Spot's (they also had fun flavors like guava). If I *really* get a hankering for pão de queijo again, I might come back, but otherwise, the search continues.
