Today was my first time having an acia bowl!!!! It was deliciousness!!!! Madi was our server so was so fluid while working and it was busy!!! She walked me threw the menu so I fully understood what I wanted and it was a beautiful creation, delicious, and good for me!! Mmmmmmm!!! Mismanaged and our order took over 30 minutes. Poor quality of products when considering the prices (he uses Motts Apple Juice). Even after the long wait he didn't even apologize for the delay. There is a better option right down the street. read more

Husband and I both ordered the Surfer Bowl . The fruit was fresh and the granola and coconut shavings were tasty. The purple soft textured Acai on the bottom; really could not taste it. Acai was all the rage 12 years ago in California when I lived there and I heard I was healthy . $7.50 each for a bowl. I would eat here again . My mom and I came in here a little over a month ago after looking for a good quality açaí bowl. We were looking forward to coming here based on the reviews and I can confirm they stand corrected. We had the pleasure of being greeted and taken of by Lucy. Let me tell you, she is an encyclopedia of information! She was sweet, informative, helpful, and it felt like we were talking to an old friend. Lucy helped me customize my bowl and told us the difference between Acai Express's Acai and other place's quality; our first impression was a home run from the quality of the bowls to the customer service that ensued. I order the Hollywood bowl but substitute the apple juice for guava juice. Needless to say, I have been back 4x since our first visit and will continue to come here and tell others about Acai Express. I mean, look at how beautifully stacked that bowl is! Came here for a quick sweet fix and was incredibly disappointed. I wouldn't go as far as giving them one star because the service was adequate and the bowl was edible. However, for a $10 Acai bowl, which I am more than willing to spend often if good, was simply not up to par. The Acai itself was not blended well and was very chalky. The fruit toppings were fresh and tasty but if I wanted a $10 fruit bowl - I would have went to edible arrangements. read more

Not impressed. I got about 1 tiny scoop of acai/smoothie in my bowl so it was just granola and fruit for $8.. It took over 10 minutes to get the bowl and the girls just seemed really confused working and couldn't seem to get it together. They also let their friend go back behind the counter with no shoes, shorts, or gloves and touch things for her own bowl. That girl also had her hair down and kept talking to them which just distracted them more. Will not be back. Save yourself the time and go to surfinista down the street. read more

I have visited many Acai shops. ACAI EXPRESS is very slow. Only one blender was working and the shop was crowded. They forgot to add some of the ingredients to my acai bowl from their menu. It's wouldn't be worth my time to visit again l. read more

The açaí was lumpy (not blended well). It was crumbly whereas açaí should be a thick, soft-serve consistency (at least from my experience living in Brazil). It had absolutely no flavor (seemed like it was just frozen and then served; all I tasted was ice). For $10, I expected a lot better. I'm only giving two stars because the guy at the counter was polite, and I don't want him to get in trouble. read more

It was so hot in Cocoa Beach yesterday that we just wanted to sit inside somewhere to escape the heat for a bit. The first two places we walked into were skimping on the AC. Then we found Acai Express. We opened the door and as soon as the blast of cold air hit us we knew this was where we'd be settling in for the next half hour. They were in the midst of an afternoon rush when we arrived so we did have to wait a bit to order but the girls working were trying their best to get everyone taken care of. We ordered a Pitaya Coco smoothie (coconut water, pitaya, and banana) to share. Until yesterday I'd never heard dragonfruit called pitaya before. We enjoyed the smoothie and it was refreshing for the hot day, but I should mention the the flavor was rather muted. We liked it but if you're looking for a strong fruity flavor I'd recommend getting something else. The bowls looked great but too filling as we were about to go to dinner. Overall Acai Express seems like a good place for a snack if you're looking for a fresh, healthy alternative. read more

I had an acai bowl a few days ago, and I have to say it did not live up to the expectations I had. My husband and I were told by our friends (who visited Cocoa Beach in early June of this year) that we absolutely had to try what they called a "rainbow bowl", which cost us over ten dollars for the smallest size. I'm not bothered that it took over twenty minutes for us to receive our meal, for there was only one poor girl working during the time we went (extreme understaffing in my opinion), but rather I am baffled by the utter lack of acai in my acai bowl. There was enough for my husband and I to each get a couple tasty bites of acai-coated fruit, but not enough to lather the majority of the bowl as I had hoped. The other significant issue my husband and I had with the bowl was the size of the cut strawberries on top. They were handcut by an employee that day, but I felt like I was eating a quarter of a strawberry in every bite, which was far too much and not entirely pleasant. On the other hand, the music was nice and so was the environment. However, I don't think I'll be going back. As a medical marijuana user, I could only see myself returning to acai express high. read more

I usually don't write a review unless I am extremely impressed with an establishment. Acai Express is that impressive. Upon walking into this upbeat hip little shop we were greeted by 2 friendly girls behind the counter. My daughter and I are not too familiar with acai and were looking over the menu when one of the girls started to explain the health benefits of acai and they only use high quality grade A acai. We are both vegan so finding options are usually difficult but not here! So many options!  I ended up getting the wolf pack bowl and my daughter got a pitaya bowl. Both were amazing and packed with flavor!! The peanut butter and acai was such a great combination and the fruit on the pitaya bowl was so fresh and tropical, perfect for a hot day. I only had acai a handful of times but this acai was by far THE BEST I have ever had. This will be our first stop on our next trip to Cocoa Beach! read more

I had the wolf pack bowl. I loved the almond butter and the acai, which was not as sweet as I expected. I couldn't believe a medium was so big! The fruit was extremely good quality and the whole thing was a nice refresher on a warm day. I definitely will be back on our next cruise stopover in cocoa beach! Wonderful acai bowls that have generous portions of straight up acai without juices blended in. The prices are also inexpensive considering the acai and other fruit/granola. Also the staff is really nice. I've loved every bowl I've tried but my favorite is the Taino Bowl. Awesome place!! read more

I went here a few weeks back and was blown away! The bowls were SO good! Different layers of coconut, fruit, granola, and acai that was like a snow cone consistency. It was divine!! Clump of coconut oil in my cup. This is not your typical Acai "bowl", it's a cup. There are places across the street that are waaaay better.
