Sadly, I decided to do my nails here in the spa saloon after the receptionist recommended it . My nails look so ugly I hate it . The work is not professional at all, the length is not matching between the two hands. And the edges are so bad . My nails look like if they are done by a 5 years old girl . I can see bubbles in the polish I paid 1700 php for this , and I totally regret it. Worst experience ever.

This review is for the Sunday BUFFET restaurant: Whoever rated this buffet restaurant higher than mediocre is probably related to the chef or workers. This buffet restaurant is just BLAH..... and that's being nice. Let's start: Ambience=is decent. It's relatively clean, but old. It has an oily, old smell (especially near the kitchen). It has old ratty chairs which look like they've had better days. The "view" is McDonalds on one side and Commercenter building on the other......nothing to write home about. Food=was mediocre at best. The sushi MUST be AVOIDED at all cost. It's old, dry and tastes dead w/a coating of chili powder to cover its stink. The meats were nothing impressive. As my mother would say "laman tian" -- the soups were bland with some chili to make it taste like something or other. The fish / shrimps were ok; hit and miss on the freshness (some pieces were plump and fresh; other pieces were a smelly mush) the breads were rubbery and at least a day old. The cheeses were dried up and the oil was separating.....it was sad. The fruits were bland, though at least somewhat fresh. The desserts were actually ok..... for it tasted freshly baked (or maybe we just got lucky)..... The drinks were sugary sweet and nothing exceptional.....not even good coffee. :( Service: this is the only saving grace at this place. The servers were NICE. Not exactly the quickest and definitely not the most efficient, but they were kind and POLITE , which makes a positive difference in the overall experience. Price: overpriced for the MEDIOCRE QUALITY. If you're just looking for a regular restaurant to enjoy Sunday lunch with the family, then this place is fine. It's mediocre but fine. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary or anything "special" then do NOT waste your time here. You will be sorely disappointed, as I was. (I was celebrating my bday with my whole family of 12). It lacked in every aspect.

Nice hotel. I stayed for two weeks and everything was great. Room Service is available 24/7 and the Gym is also available around the clock. Very convenient for business travelers that are working odd hours. The morning buffet was excellent. Large variety of dishes, drinks, soups, and fruits. The staff there is very friendly and they make an effort to learn your name and greet you every day you come. Room Service and Lobby dining options are very good. Everything is well prepared and the portions are very good. My favorite dishes were the Corned Beef Hash, Beef Shank Bulalo, and Classic Bolognese. Rooms are large. I had a Jr. Suite. Had a separate tub, for soaking. Sitting area is in a bit of an awkward spot, away from the TV. Bed was very comfortable and the floor to ceiling windows were nice. Overall, this was a great hotel. Really good food and the service from the staff was too-notch!

It had a separate living room, with a full kitchen if you decided you wanted to cook (we did not). It also came with a big refrigerator and also had a 5 gallon water dispenser which was great to have. King bed was very comfortable and bathroom was also very big. Lots of storage space to keep your belongings. there was a balcony but we never utilized it since it was kind of hot. Breakfast buffet came with the booking. Lots to choose from, 2-3 dishes usually change but they usually offered plain rice, garlic fried rice, dried fish, eggs, salad bad, noodle dish (this changed daily), some sort of protein (this changed daily), small selection of breads, congee and another soup that changed daily, coffee bar, variety of juices and cereals. One reason i also chose this for accommodations over the other places was because it also offered a kids play room which came in handy every day to release all the energy. Our booking also came with a parking spot which helped a lot when our family and friends came to visit. We used the combo washer/dryer every day. It does take a bit longer to dry, so make sure you dont put a huge load of clothes in. They also offer a shuttle service on weekends to the mall, reservations are required for the times. We never utilized it but its a nice amenity to have. They are also in close proximity to food places. 7-11 is next door as well. I also found out on our last day that they can arrange for airport drop off (i am unsure of pickup). I also loved that they called us every morning when the Taho guy came through! All in all, staying here helped make our vacation in Philippines go really well. Will definitely come back here!

Gym was reasonable size and quiet during night usage. Only one restaurant, so not much selection, IMO. Everyone here was polite. Some negatives... 1) the first thing I noticed was the A/C and TV were ON. The TV display was about to be out of commission. I left a note to ask if it can be serviced and it did by the next night. 2) I am not used to not having bottled water. The room advertised bottled water, but there was a 1 gallon water dispense. It was laid near a window. And although it was covered (sun protected), I did not feel comfortable drinking from it as I cannot see inside. 3) The room I stayed in must have not been used often. The toilet looks to have some dried-up water stain on the toilet seat. Also, on the first night when I turned on the shower, dirty water came out for about 2 minutes before it cleared up. Another reason why I don't want to drink the water. 4) Although I was on the 20th floor, I could hear outdoor noises. The ceiling A/C help as it generates white noise. LOL. 5) On the third night, my bathroom sink leaked. It wasn't a lot, so I just let it be since I was going to check out the next morning. And just a recommendation, there isn't any vanity light. The overhead bathroom light is dimmed. I can barely see my face as any lights available would be lit from behind my head. So all I see are shadow outlines of my face. Additionally, the electrical socket in the bathroom is not meant to be used with a hair dryer.

Conveniently located in the Alabang district and right across from the very lively Festival Mall, the Vivere Hotel sits 31 stories above Laguna bay. initial impressions were very positive with a Lobby that was very opulent. friendly doormen, bellhops and check-in agents welcomed us in. we got in very early in the morning and opted to pay for the early check-in which was a FULL night's stay. it was a reasonable price as it was so we were ok with it. the room was very nice. clean lines and sparkling tiles. the Imperial Suite has a separate living area, dining area, 2 bathrooms with 1 tub/shower combo and 1 with just a standup. the bathrooms did not have very much counter space, unfortunately. the water pressure was both weak and did not deliver HOT water, just lukewarm. very disappointing. there was also no TV in the 2nd bedroom. 2 of the 3 AC units were remote controlled and the one in the 2nd bedroom was hardwired. kinda weird. oh, and there was supposed to be a mini-bar setup, but, there wasn't. we ate our morning breakfasts at the Nest on the 31st floor. the staff up there were very friendly and remembered us each morning. the food was buffet style with a good amount of Filipino and Western options. we ordered sparkling wine a couple days and were surprised how pricey it was considering we were in the PI. the day of Typhoon Uwan they had the breakfast setup on the 2nd floor ballroom. the elevators got pretty busy for breakfasts, but, we didn't wait too long most days. we also dined at Shogun, the Japanese spot at the lobby level, but, was not technically associated with Vivere. no room charges allowed. good food nonetheless. the location is extremely appealing. the Alabang area is very clean and well maintained. mama had some concerns when i initially told her we'd be walking back from the wedding (800 meters) back to our hotel. no worries at all. Festival Mall is located a quick 5 min walk from the hotel and is filled with so many eateries, shopping, lounging and most importantly for us, KID friendly amenities. the mall had an amusement park and a trampoline park. further up from the hotel was more dining options as well as a grocery store that we used to grab some stuff to stock up for Typhoon Uwan. there is a pool on the 4th floor. it's small with limited lounge chairs, but, very refreshing. there is a bar/dining area, but doesn't open till 4p so that was inconvenient unless you BYOB, which we did. the kiddos enjoyed swimming during the Typhoon with sideways rain. the area was not impacted much from the weather. Overall, we liked our stay. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The dining options were good, just wished they had a lobby bar option. The location can't be beat. The rooms need some attention, specifically the water pressure and temperature. They need to add a TV to the 2nd bedroom as well as modernize the AC in that room. The hotel bills itself as a 5-star, but, is not. 3.5 to 4 is more their speed.

LOCATION: 5/5 It is situated in Filinvest City, making it an easy access to restaurants and shopping malls. Makati and BGC are roughly 45-mins drive away. ACCOMMODATIONS: We booked the Imperial Suite, located at the 8th floor of the hotel with a view of the city. It is a 2-bedroom, 2 full bath suite with a separate kitchen and living room. There is also a small storage area with a closet where luggages could be stored. This actually felt more of a luxury apartment than a hotel room. CUSTOMER SERVICE: 5/5 The customer service in this hotel stood out. From the bellhops, front desk, concierge, and the wonderful restaurant staff at the Nest (which I'll be writing a separate review of this restaurant) were all consistently attentive, friendly, and polite. CLEANLINESS: 3/5 While the hotel has aesthetically pleasing appearance especially the lobby and overall set-up. Unfortunately, the cleanliness specifically to our room fell short of our expectations. The pressing issue was the initial state of the room even upon check in. We noted that corners and edges of the room appeared to have been overlooked in cleaning, the kitchen utensils weren't as clean as they should be. I also experienced some skin irritation during our stay, which I suspect might have been related to linens or possibly a tiny biting insects. Due to these issues, we ended up checking out after 4 days rather than our planned 14 . REFUND PROCESS: While we did face some concerns that cut our 14-day stay short (and had already paid for the full duration), we did not encountered any problems with the refund process. The hotel processed our refund for the unused nights and the money was back to my account in about a week, just as they committed. Given the hotel's prime location, beautiful aesthetics, and top-notch customer service - this could have been an easy 5-star rating. I believe that an enhanced focus on maintenance checks should be one their priority given that this hotel is priced higher than nearby competitors.

There were a lot of people in line, but they allowed these people to get through. What kind of decision and judgement is that? I felt racism in my own country! Terrible, TERRIBLE SERVICE! This is averaged to 4 star for me! Stayed here during our visit the Philippines with friends who chose this hotel to be closed to her family's office. We stayed in single bedroom suite for 1 night and double bed room for 2 nights. The single bedroom suite is spacious with nice big king bed, nice living room with a full kitchen and access to presidential lounge (free drinks and food from 6 AM to 10 PM). It is definitely worth the money! The double bed room is generic but comfortable. We had breakfast at the cafe down-stair which was pretty good and fresh but not exceptional. The lobby restaurant provides the same menus as room service which is reasonable price. They have shuttle to take you to airport with about 1400 peso or $30 USD per person or per car. If you stay in the suite, it is free charge. The reason I did not give them 5 star because: 1. There is not convenience store on-site for snack or water/juice. You can buy coffee or alcohol at the lobby restaurants but not water or juice! You do have 2 small bottle of water per room per day! There is a near-by 7-11 store! 2. Room key is only allowed you to get to your own room but if you need to meet your friends on different floor, you will have to meet at the lobby. (Perhaps, for security reason that your key only works for your room floor! However, it is somewhat inconvenience when our group got separated and we could not get our luggage from our friend's room!) 3. Most staff is pleasant but not helpful if you do not speak Tangalo and/ or do not stay in their suite!

My mother is currently staying in this "hotel" quarantining for 6 days per the requirement when traveling in the Philippines at the moment. It's been less than 24 hours since the writing of this review. To even classify this place as a "hotel" would be a stretch. A Motel 6 here in the U.S. has better services. FOOD: If we had known they feed their guests here like they are 2 year old toddlers, we wouldn't have wasted the money paying for a package that came with food. See the attached photo of what a "breakfast" looks like. It's literally 1 freaking hot dog and 1/16th of an apple sliced really thinly. Dinner at the night of my mom's arrival was about the size of 2 tablespoons of ground beef and watermelon sliced paper thin also. My mom had to download the Grab app so she could get food delivered. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? When we paid for "food package"?? SERVICE/ QUALITY OF Essentials -toilet paper is thinner than paper. Have you tried using thin ass TP when doing your business? Not fun, is it? -Towels: no wash cloths, literally just 2 towels -electric tea kettles but no cups/ mugs? Wtf? -utensils/ napkins nonexistent My mom asked for more toilet paper and hair dryer morning and it's now noon and it hasn't been given to her yet. If she gets lucky she might get it the day she leaves. For a hotel that's supposed to cater to guests in quarantine, the least they could do is to provide EVERYTHING/COMFORT so that their guests wouldn't have to need anything else.
