We really enjoyed our time here! One of the coolest things about the room is the sound machine that it came with. This was my first time going to a hotel that has one. There were so many options. There was a great view looking over 1-4 and down towards universal. The staff was sweet. I would stay here again

Room was nice, smaller than we expected, camera angles used for their website were a little deceiving. The bed was super comfortable. They added a $30 per day valet parking fee to my bill..we self parked. They removed the $60 without a fuss. I suggest reviewing your bill at checkout.

I love Marriott and as a Bonvoy member only stay at Marriott's family of hotels. I also love the AC having stayed at several here in the state of Florida. We checked in for one evening, Wednesday, April 24th because of a concert nearby. Checking in was easy and the staff was wonderful ... Here's where things go downhill... This particular hotel is known for its many floor ... 25 I believe! One elevator was down and another never seemed to open at the first floor, leaving one working elevator for a sold-out evening. (Workers told us the hotel was fully booked.) Our bathroom was icky. There was human waste remnants around the bowl. I asked a cleaning person to assist and she said she would. She didn't. We were also left with an obviously used bottle of lotion which we used accidentally not realizing it was empty and touched by the previous guest. I'll be visiting AC Hotels and continue to stay with Marriotts, but this was a bit of a disappointment. Hopefully they can rectify these issues.

Nothing annoys me more when housekeeping comes knocking at your door at 10am when check out is at 12pm. She also completely disregarded the "do not disturb" sign on our door handle.

Dear A/C Hotel Team, I wanted to take a moment to share with you--and with your future guests--the wonderful experience my husband and I had this past Sunday and Monday at your hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Our room was impeccable: spotless, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, with a stunning view and a luxurious bathroom. We were in town to attend the Kylie Minogue concert at the Kia Center, and your hotel's location could not have been more perfect--right in the heart of the Church Street District. After the show, we were impressed by the thoughtful gesture of being welcomed back with water and champagne in the lobby. It was a lovely surprise that made the brief wait for the elevators feel like part of the experience rather than an inconvenience. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the 18th-floor restaurant, where we had the pleasure of meeting Lisette, a wonderful woman of Dominican origin working in the terrace area. Her warmth and hospitality truly sealed the magic of our stay. I also want to recognize the lovely housekeeper of Venezuelan origin--her kind energy did not go unnoticed--and the front desk agent who checked us in, a young woman who greeted us with such professionalism and kindness. Both made a lasting impression. It's employees like them who make guests want to return, and thanks to them, we certainly will. Thank you for making our weekend so special. We look forward to staying with you again soon. Warm regards, Jose & David

Excellent! Great location and within great walking distance of many restaurants and other local businesses and attractions. Clean hotel, friendly service! When you walk in go right to the elevators and the lobby is located on the 18th floor with the SkyBar! You must check out the SkyBar and the spectacular views of Downtown Orlando! Foxtail coffee is located right when you first walk in at the bottom level!

AC Hotel is great and has a great view of downtown Orlando. The staff worked hard to provide an easy check in and check out process. While parking can be expensive over time, it does not detract from all of the great attributes that the hotel has to offer. If I am ever in Downtown Orlando, this will always be my go-to spot to stay. They also feature a skybar with a beautiful view that is ideal for socializing with friends and family.

I recently stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott Orlando Downtown during a work trip, and I had a great stay. The hotel is very clean and organized, and all of the service I received, though minimal as I did not require much interaction with staff, was good! During my stay I utilized the conference rooms, and public spaces including the lounge and sky bar, as well as my personal room. Everything was great! If you're looking for a hotel in the downtown Orlando area, I think AC Hotel by Marriott is a good choice.

This was a great stay! Location was great. Valet parking. Gym was great with weights and cardio equipment. The rooftop bar and lobby on 18 was amazing. Drinks and dining on the rooftop with amazing sunsets.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to come to this hotel within 2 weeks of it opening! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the room (king city view) was a decent size, with lovely fixtures. All amenities on site were beautiful and well maintained. Given the restrictions due to Covid, the hotel found many ways to keep both the staff and visitors safe. Food/Drinks- The European breakfast was served by a lovely attendant, Candy, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food preparation and AC brand overall. The European breakfast goes beyond your usual "continental", there was fresh prosciutto, airy croissants, so many different coffee options (nespresso, iced, regular) and even hot plate options. At the bar, I mentioned in passing that the tonic for their signature drink may cause me some gastro discomfort. I honestly didn't even think anything of it but the bartender kindly gave me the bottle of tonic separately and advised that I could pour the amount that would best suit me. To me, that kind of attention to detail elevates an experience. Amenities- beautiful gym, conference rooms, etc. my favorite thing about the gym is the pre packaged headphones, in case you forget yours. There's no excuse to not get a work out in if you want one! Overall, a lovely stay and I would recommend!

I've had the pleasure of attending a yoga event as well as a salsa event at The Balcony and both times I left wanting to figure out an event to host at this beautiful site. Though getting in to the building and up to the right floor is a bit of a process, the view that awaits is worth every head scratch. This is truly a Balcony, but much larger than you'd imagine. They've used the space for cocktail parties, seated dinners, weddings, fitness events, and I imagine a photo shoot or two. The space is available for rent, and I've made a point to take a tour (which you can schedule any time) to check it out when they didn't have an active event happening. The indoor space you'd walk thru for The Balcony is actually a marketing agency. I haven't been in several months, but it doesn't seem to provide a lot of weather backup space, so one thing to note. Then again, this place is so unique, you'll be convinced to cross your fingers and pray for clear skies!

What this venue fails to mention is that due to a residential building being next door you will receive multiple noise complaints if there is music. The staff will take your food without asking and the security guard will harass you by all means necessary. A wedding was shut down by the police because of their napoleon complex having security guard. I am utterly DISGUSTED with this place. I repeat, DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE!

Eola House

South Eola, Thornton Park

4 Stars for location, location, location!…read more Eola House is a historic 1924 house-turned-rental space owned by the city, right by Lake Eola. It may seem like an odd sight in the middle of the park, but in fact it used to exist in a line of historic homes that were taken down for the park expansion. Now it sits alone, right off of the walking path surrounding the Lake. The home is lovely and features a sunroom, living room, parlor, outdoor terrace, upstairs area with a balcony, bridal changing room, and more. Recently I went for a lunch meeting in their upstairs space, the Summerlin Room ($75/hr rental with a 2 hr min). It was a lovely spot and fit our group of fifteen perfectly. I'll admit that I had been to the house once before to help with another event and the room wasn't set to the specifications agreed upon so we had to move and reset the chairs and tables right before the meeting. I remember the event organizer was quite annoyed... Hopefully it was a fluke! Side note- There is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. This is worth mentioning in case your event includes someone with mobility issues or who uses a wheelchair. As I was heading out I stopped in a room by the front and appreciated the array of pamphlets set up- ranging from history of the house to an Orlando biking map. There were also tourist pamphlets with the typical attractions (presumably for out of town guests of weddings of meetings). Overall, this is a beautiful meeting/event space that is priced reasonably and located in the heart of the city.

You really can't get a more picturesque spot than this. On the day we visited the flowers were blooming and swans wandered the grounds. Today the house is owned by the City of Orlando and they rent it for reasonable rates for private events like parties and weddings. A full listing of the prices can be found on their website. In addition the house has a welcome center and park offices. On the day I visited the house was closed and I could only peak through the windows. This looks like a fabulous venue for weddings and outdoor parties on the lawn.
