Lavender to take back to your room at night!
Chris P.

It is a great location! Within walking distance of Bridgepark restaurants and shops etc. There is free parking across street and just overall a good location and stay! Friendly staff, accommodating and shout out to April who works behind the AC lounge for getting me a cup of coffee! Vaso is the rooftop bar/restaurant, the AC lounge is just a lounge and there is a limited breakfast available in the morning ($15 dollars) but with complimentary coffee! All these places are located within the hotel and have limited hrs, so make sure you check before the you go. The room was relatively clean, expected it to be a little cleaner and there was a stain on the mattress. But overall the hotel was very clean! A nice little perk is the lavender to take back to your room at night! I would stay here again when in the area!

Post vaccine, my gal friends and I decided to do a girl's overnight and decided to do somewhere close to home (for logistical purposes) and a location that has some bars close by. I live in the Short North, so wanted somewhere to "travel" to. We booked this hotel directly on their website and got an incredible rate- about $140 after taxes. Everything about the experience was easy; we were able to check in and out on my phone; everything was cleanly and spaced out; and though we had little interaction with the staff, everyone was friendly and adhered to the CDC guidelines. Our room was jazzy with a "view"- this may be snarky, but the River from that height does kind of just look like a dirt road. The room was also immaculate and trendy. The only gripe is that the beds were kind of small and felt more form over function. Overall, this made for a great setting for our girl's night! We are already planning on going back!

Flew in to Columbus for business and we stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott. The hotel is very clean and the staff was incredible. From the time you check in, you are treated with respect and courtesy. I like the fact that the hotel front desk person acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. My check in was quick and seamless. After the elevator ride to the 4th floor, was impressed with a beautiful room with a modern decor. I loved the view and noticed they had vegetation growing on various parts of the roof to add to the green; it was very pleasant and looked nice. The bathrooms are spotless and I loved my overhead shower, now I want one for home. The thermostat worked well and it was simple to always keep my room at a great temperature. The room was quiet and the mattress was like sleeping on clouds. The parking for the hotel is right across the hotel and easy to get to. Even in the rain, your walk to your car is minimal. It was a great experience traveling to Columbus and if I were to return, this would be my go to spot.

This was my first time staying at an AC Hotel and it won't be my last. If you're looking for a brand new, value-priced hotel in Dublin, stay at the AC. There are only 150 rooms so you get the feel of a small hotel but all the benefits of being part of the Marriott hotel family. The staff is amazing, very friendly, and accommodating. The first time I had breakfast, my server addressed me by name. I hadn't given him my name nor room number. That says volumes about the service. The hotel is located in the Bridge Park area (a newly developed area) that features a brewery, ramen place, and several other soon to open restaurants and shops. Historic Dublin is a short walk across the bridge. The rooms are spacious, simple, European design with leather couches and headboards. Every object in the room has a purpose - there's not wasted space, design, or items. There's plenty of outlets and charging stations so you don't have to unplug any lights or clocks as you do in some other hotels. Food and drink prices are very reasonable. The $15 continental breakfast with a choice of 1 of 2 hot egg entrees is a good value. Other hotels charge upwards of $25 to $36 for a continental breakfast without a hotel dish. The VASO lounge has great views and the food drinks are phenomenal. Looking forward to coming back and staying here again.

2nd time staying here and I'm excited to see what the next several months bring. I have stayed the past few years at the sister hotel in Liberty Center and love it. I saw this opened a a couple months ago and tried it out. This time around I can see various improvements like the roof top bar now open. This place is great enough, but the bar has been raised (pun intended). What a neat atmosphere with open air bar and heated for the cooler months. Breakfast is like no other hotel with quiche, prosciutto, and chia pudding w/apricot purée. ($15 all you can eat). The rooms are awesome and comfortable. Great views of the river if your on that side of the building. Walking distance to local restaurants (only a few now, but several being built). I can see this place in the summer of 2018 being someplace special. Can't wait to see how this all comes together. Be patient if staying here as there is construction on. UPDATE: Dropped in for a stay. Very happy to see the location is doing well and surrounding area is growing. AC Hotels is still one of my favorite hotels.

Work spaces & bar

It's very clean and aesthetically appealing. Trendy minimalistic. I traveled here for work and was so pleased with the amount of work spaces they have next to their lobby. Its walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. I traveled during Covid and felt safe and everything was thoroughly cleaned. I plan on staying here in the future when work brings me back here.

What a beautiful hotel! Everything is neat and new and clean. Breakfast was very nice but the bus ladies could have clean out the used dishes faster. Overall very nice experience!

Does this hotel have a swimming pool? Is this hotel family friendly?

Don't believe they have a pool at this location. The AC in West Chester Ohio does. Most guest at this hotel are business. This is a sophisticated hotel with excellent breakfast but would not say kid friendly.

AND everyone self parked, so what exactly did we pay for? There was no sign you put in your car or anything to signify you were a guest there. We didn't partake in it, but I like that they offered evening snacks/drinks. My husband did get the breakfast, which looked like a buffet. He brought me coffee each morning, which to be honest, tasted as expected... hotel coffee. Who knew that a hotel could run out of regular half and half? Overall, the front desk staff were nice, our room was clean, we appreciated the fridge and microwave, and the shower was hot with good water pressure. I was glad i picked a room on the side away from the main freeway (you can do this while booking on their app). We would return, as it's centrally located to lots of things.

But the suites at this Residence Inn don't just have kitchenettes -- they have full kitchens! In the hotel room, there's a refrigerator and freezer, a stove with an oven, a sink, dishes and silverware, and lots of storage for your food. The room also has a two-person bar table just off the kitchen, so there's somewhere to sit and eat. Having a kitchen and table in our room made our stay just that much more enjoyable. We stayed in a room with a king bed, but there were four of us so two of us slept on the pull-out couch bed. Both beds were comfortable, and they give you extra linens and blankets for the pull-out, and you can request more if that's not enough. This hotel has an indoor pool that's pretty large, and the water was warm. The gym, which is right by the pool, is kind of small, so you might want to get there early so you can work out by yourself. There is also an outdoor basketball court around the side of the hotel. Just ask the people behind the desk for a basketball if you didn't bring one with you! The only downside to our stay was that housekeeping will not service your room unless you're staying for a week or more. So each day, we had to leave our own trash bags outside of our hotel room for the staff to eventually pick up. We also had to do the same with our wet/dirty towels, and then request clean towels at the front desk each day. It was kind of a drag. Apparently, this is the new standard with hotels since the pandemic, so I kind of expected to do my own room service. It just puts a downer on the trip, and I wish they would reinstate room service again as a standard.

I was in town for two meetings in the Dublin area and I selected the TownePlace Suites as the hotel opened in 2021. They accommodated me for an early check-in, but I didn't feel like my Bonvoy status was recognized. No upgraded room was offered. This hotel has an awesome workout room, plus an indoor pool and laundry. Not sure why a room with two Queen beds is priced less than a single King, but that's what I selected. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. I just wished the pillows were firmer. My room had a glass shower, but I don't understand why the glass covers only half the shower. Inevitably you're spraying water out onto the floor. I was also surprised how noisy the room can be when someone is walking on the floor above your room. We returned to our room Monday July 14th at approximately 9:30 pm. Like the day prior it appeared no one cleaned the room. I went into the restroom to prepare for bed and noticed an item on the bathroom sink. The item was a used BLOODY TAMPON stuck inside the wrapper of the new tampon. I'm assuming it was left there by the cleaning staff that entered my room but didn't clean it. The hotel front desk was notified and I requested he come to the room. He did so and we went to the front desk to resolve the issue. Not once did he offer a new room and when we asked who was going to clean / sanitize the bathroom, the attendant stated it was NOT HIS JOB!!! He also said, the cleaning staff would not be in until the following morning. I requested he give me the GM's number so I could call him. The attendant refused to provide the number so I requested he call the GM to resolve the issue in which he promptly refused. My son got justifiably upset and the attendant threatened to CALL THE POLICE and THROW US OUT of the hotel. I called Marriott and filed a complaint. Marriott asked for the attendant's name which he failed to provide and was not wearing a name tag. Finally, I demanded a new room which they provided but at the expense of a good night's sleep. Tuesday morning, Paul the GM said, he would contact me by Wednesday evening, this would give them time to investigate the incident and stated we'll make it right. It's been a week and I have not been contacted by Paul or Marriott. Paul appears to have been trained by Salma the former GM. Read the other reviews (Francis B. Mar 2, 2022) that talk about cleanliness and how they were treated by hotel staff, they push back. Nothing has changed at this property. To add insult to injury they comped a friend staying there that I called to witness the item in my room and the behavior of the front desk attendant. I would have rated the hotel even lower if it was an option. Extremely disappointed in Marriott.

ORC § 3781.06 states "Any building that may be used as a palace of resort [...] dwelling [...] shall be so constructed, erected, equipped, and maintained that they shall be safe and sanitary for their intended use and occupancy." ORC § 3781.06(8) further elaborates that "'Sanitary,' with respect to a building, means it is free from danger or hazard to the health of persons occupying or frequenting it or to that of the public, if such danger arises from the method or materials of its construction or from any equipment installed therein, for the purpose of lighting, heating, ventilating, or plumbing". I stayed for two sleepless nights in this hotel before booking an early return flight due to the severely debilitating health effects of toxic mold poisoning. In the two nights I have stayed in this hotel, I have experienced the following symptoms of mold toxicity/poisoning as listed by Cleveland Clinic under "What are the symptoms of black mold exposure?" - Sneezing - Coughing - Nasal congestion - Postnasal drip - Red eyes - Wheezing - Shortness of breath (dyspnea) - Dry cough and chest tightness Government publication "Mold and Your Health" by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences states "The World Health Organization, National Academy of Medicine, and National Toxicology Program (NTP) all confirm that occupants of damp, moldy buildings have an increased chance of respiratory problems, such as shortness of breath and worsening asthma [...] Extended exposure to mold has been linked to short-term memory loss, lightheadedness, dizziness, blurred vision, tinnitus, and loss of other cognitive functions [...] Long term exposure to inhaled mycotoxins may promote inflammation and immune system changes." By subjecting lawful customers including but not limited to myself and my travel companion, Home2 Suites by Hilton, Dublin OH violates the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act (CSPA) under ORC § 1345.02(A) "No supplier shall commit an unfair or deceptive act or practice in connection with a consumer transaction. Such an unfair or deceptive act or practice by a supplier violates this section whether it occurs before, during, or after the transaction." Home2 Suites by Hilton, Dublin OH repeatedly confirms awareness of having violated legally binding sanitation codes and engages in negligence at the unfair expense of the consumer's health.
