This is an incredibly convenient hotel with direct, indoor access to the convention center and also very close to Nationwide Arena where the Blue Jackets play hockey. Check-in was fast, the gentleman at the counter gracious and friendly. My room was nice, small but still adequate. The bedroom had a king bed flanked by nightstands. A mini fridge (very mini) was in a cabinet beneath a safe and coffee pot. The wall also had a desk with drawers. There were lots of plugs for charging devices. There was only one chair in the room, which made bringing meals there somewhat uncomfortable but workable. The bathroom was especially small, with minimal counter space, though a shelf below gave a space to stash toiletries. The shower was easy to operate with great water pressure. Pump units on the wall dispensed shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The toilet functioned well; the brown bamboo fiber toilet paper was unusual but not bad. The room was on the 10th floor and fairly quiet but for infrequent sirens and passing trains in the tunnel down below. The hall noise usually didn't carry inside. The room and the hotel itself were very well maintained, perhaps remodeled recently. As for the general facilities, there were four elevators and they worked fast. It never took long to get around. The convention facilities were not hard to find thanks to abundant signs; the direct access was from the second floor. I really liked that a food court was close by indoors, and North Market was just outside and a few blocks away. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The only negative was the expensive parking options. We only stayed one night but loved the room. Very big and spacious. Especially the showers. Amazing! Great views of downtown as well. Will definitely be back!

Stayed here for two nights for Ohayocon. The rooms were clean, although the shower curtain could've used a wash so don't think they get washed very often. No bed bugs thankfully (I check in every hotel). Did not try the big flat screen tv, but it was there. The room had a mini fridge, safe, and coffee pot tucked into the side of the room with free coffee and tea plus supplies. Sink was in the bathroom itself, which I personally prefer rather than the kind with the sink outside the door. The beds have motion sensor lights along the bottom with no way to turn them off so I used some masking tape to cover the sensor. It's not restful to get woken up by a light shining in your face because someone stood up to go to the bathroom. I really liked that the showers had big bottle dispensers on the wall for body wash/shampoo/conditioner. Way less wasteful than tiny bottles thrown out after every guest and no running out. The toilet paper was also bamboo! If you use the Chestnut st garage to park in then it's $22 per day to park there so expensive, but unlimited in/out privileges. The hotel is attached to the convention center so walking indoors. Be warned it is a long cold walk through skywalks and walkways from the garage to the hotel though. The con center has a food court and tons of great food places are just outside an short walk away. Elevators are fast and there are stairs plus a fitness center if inclined to use.

Stayed here for a night two weekends ago. We had a beautiful view of the city from the top floor. The room was clean and I did not notice any issues. The staff was friendly although I did not have too much interaction with them. There were plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The walk to the parking garage is slightly longer than they make it seem but it was still convenient. There is a bar and restaurant on site which we had a couple drinks at, no food.

My husband and I loved our stay here for my birthday. The hotel had a clean and inviting atmosphere. Our room was the perfect size with nice amenities. In addition to the celebratory champagne and fruit, the hotel staff included a card with their signatures. It was so thoughtful! The bartenders were also friendly and made sure we had a great time. The hotel is near several bars and restaurants. We enjoyed our short walk to Mikey's after everything else had closed. Lastly, after some confusion with our bill, the manager heard my concerns, provided a thorough explanation, and resolved the issue. Very grateful for the hospitality!

Having been to Columbus a multitude of times you would think that I would have more reviews for hotels. But when you find a good hotel and have consistent quality service you rarely stray. However, my most recent visit I found that my old reliable was fully booked and not wanting to look much further than where I am use to staying I decided to give the Hyatt a chance. Believe me I was a bit leery about trying this place, but after this stay I know I have another great hotel at my disposal if I cannot find shelter elsewhere. One of the great thing about Hyatt is its location. If you are in need of staying close to the convention center, Arena District, Downtown or Short North, this will certainly do. Everything is within walking distance. Parking is available on site via valet, but if you want to save a few extra bucks there are several parking garages nearby that are much cheaper to use. Another great thing is that this is directly connected to the convention center. You have access to the food court and convenience store right off the lobby. This is a great asset in case you may have forgotten an essential item at home. Check in/out is a breeze and the staff that work the front desk/lobby area are all very helpful and polite. No matter the situation they seem to have the solution for you. The room itself was comfortable. The front desk staff was worried that we wouldn't like our view and asked if we wanted to move to a room with a better view. Honestly, we weren't worried about our view, we were here to visit the city, not stare at the skyline. Your basic amenities were available. The only downside here, and this in minor, is the lighting in the bathroom. If you are taking a shower and have the shower curtain closed, it is rather dark. I know, you really shouldn't need much light in the shower to do your thing, but I'd prefer to see exactly what I am doing. Things to note: gym and pool, restaurant on property with room service available, direct connection to convention center with a rear entrance, rewards program available.

Service is good with making sure there is a towel all the time

I was told that my Honors Member rate would be booked for the full stay. At check in, the reservation I made was not even for the correct number of nights. When we came down in the morning to take care of this, that front desk person said we should not have had to check in and check out and move rooms even though this is what we were told upon arrival. We then find out that our rate has gone from $187 to approximately $500 a night for the remaining stay. Of course we are shocked. We went to speak to the manager and he was not willing to meet us in the middle to find a solution. He gave us a hard no and said you won't find another hotel in this area for the remaining days. We found another hotel, three rooms left and did not stay and found other accommodations. I think there were enough issues with our reservations and being told a different story depending upon who we spoke with that the hotel. It is unfortunate that they seemed to not care to loose guests and two rooms. I am truly floored by the switch and bait and also that management/staff really seemed to not be bothered. And if you have kids, you can make the free food and drinks your dinner and save some serious money dining out. By the way, the hot dogs are steamed and are wonderful. Really. This place does more than hand you a room key. It creates a whole little world you actually want to live in for a few days. The lobby feels like an enormous, stylish living room... warm lighting, a fire going, comfortable seating clusters, art on the walls, and people actually hanging out instead of just passing through. Mornings start at Maudine's, the in-house coffee shop and bakery off the main floor. Great espresso drinks, genuinely good pastries, and just enough personality to make it feel like a real neighborhood spot rather than a hotel afterthought. We grabbed coffee there both mornings and it set the tone for the day. During this stay we leaned hard into the food and drink options on property. Lunch and happy hour in the lower bar were excellent... well made cocktails, shareable plates, and staff who are actually present and tuned in. Later at night we headed up to Brass Eye for a nightcap. It has that perfect rooftop energy. Big views of the city, great music volume, and a "we're happy you're here" vibe instead of a scene you have to work to impress. The suite we stay in with the oversized tub feels like it was designed specifically for us. Spacious, modern, and romantic without trying too hard. The tub is huge. The shower is generous. The bed is incredibly comfortable. There are plugs where you actually need them. The window seating area is perfect for reading, talking, or just watching the city hum outside. It is one of those rare hotel rooms that makes you want to stay in as much as you go out. What really keeps us coming back though is the way we are treated. Every interaction, from the door staff to the front desk to housekeeping, feels grounded and human. Not scripted. Not fake. Just people who seem genuinely invested in making your stay great. On a birthday trip, that kind of care lands even harder. Each visit ends up feeling more magical than the last. The Junto is stylish without being cold, polished without being stiff, and thoughtful in all the right ways. If you are coming to Columbus and want a hotel that delivers on design, food, drinks, and real hospitality... stay here. This is the one.

It looks like you can pay to park but the church reserves the lot for Sundays so you WILL GET TOWED if your car is in there overnight. Definitely no view in the room we had though. We could just see the cement ceiling part of whatever hotel structure is below us. They could possibly put some decor or something low maintenance out there just for some sort of view. The room coffee was decent! I appreciated the two creamers included, some hotels don't include any creamer, which it at that point the coffee is pointless to me. Luckiy my fiance drinks his black so I was able to use the creamers. I appreciated this little detail. I also do like the full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the rooms, as sometimes those tiny little things don't even have enough in one for my hair alone let alone anyone else that is staying with me. We had these rooms on points so value for the price I'm honestly not sure. But I definitey wasn't dissappointed by any means!
