The view from the sidewalk outside the hotel

We just spent six nights there for a convention. Our travels are all out of our own pocket, so we value great service and the feeling that we're getting our money's worth, and this Hilton excelled in these. Because of our busy schedule, all the meals we ate there were in the Sparx lobby bar in the 402 tower. It wasn't fine dining, more like pub food, but the smash burger, and the fries that accompany it, were especially good. I ordered it twice while we were there, and I even ate every fry the second time, which isn't at all usual for me. By the time we left, several of the bartenders were like family to us. They all also seemed to enjoy working with each other, which is huge to us. Even with large crowds dispersing at the same time from our events, the elevators handled the high traffic well and cleared quickly. This is also huge for us at this type of event. The only thing lacking were handicapped-accessible front doors - there were no automatic door buttons, which surprised me in a hotel this large and well-appointed. I use a mobility scooter at these events with a lot of walking, and had to wait each time I went in or out for someone to come and hold the door. Fortunately it was only an inconvenience because there was usually someone nearby who could help, but again, I was surprised. Our room on the 14th floor was roomy and nice, the bed was comfortable, and we loved the little touches like power drapes, an auto-sensor on the bathroom light, and the extra plug and usb port built into each nightstand. The same convention is in the same place next year, and we're already looking forward to being there, and hopefully seeing everyone again!

This is really a great place to stay, and I enjoy frequenting this specific Hilton. The staff are eager to help with any of your concerns, and you have a live person to answer the phone 24/7. There is an indoor pool/whirlpool which I can appreciate. The fitness room is top of the line, and is adjacent to the indoor pool. There is more than one lobby, and this location actually has two separate hotel buildings, joined by a bridge. The Convention Center is located in between the two.

    Renovated 8th floor room.

I enjoyed a stay in the downtown Hilton for a conference in mid-June 2025. Lots of pluses. First, the location is right next to the convention center and has meeting rooms on the lower level. Second, it's just a few minutes walk from the Short North area (with nice coffee shops, Goodale Park, and a variety of restaurants). Or you can walk for 10-15 minutes south to the Ohio Statehouse which is past the Nationwide Business Center. Third, the room interiors seem to have been recently renovated. Fourth, it has a decent fitness center. Self-parking was $25 per night without in-and-out privileges.

The room was amazing, great view. The staff is always ready to help. We had a drink at the roof top bar. Jews are great and the young man who took and delivered our drinks was amazing Please get plastic straws back. You need to gulp the drink down because of the ice.

This is a great location in downtown Columbus, attached to the convention center. I stayed here many times over the years but not since it's been renovated. It looks great, and our room on the 24th floor had great views of the city from two sides. Quiet. Spacious.

We really enjoyed our stay here in the new tower. The views were incredible, comfy and clean beds, bath products all stellar. I took my teenage daughter and her friend and we felt very safe here. We noticed ample security and there was always a staff nearby it seemed! You have to do the breakfast buffet, it was phenomenal. The location can't be beat. We walked to the arena for a concert, there's a pizza place right outside (Mikey's Late Night Slice), so many little local diners right there within walking distance. We had car trouble on the way there and ended up needing a late checkout for the next day due to changes in our plans, the front desk was so accommodating!

Server Lucas at the Gallerie Bistro is phenomenal! I stay at over 100 hotels a year and have been at this Hilton 5 times in past 2 months. Lucas' service and hospitality is by far the best part of the stay. Always friendly, courteous and service with a smile. Well done Lucas!

We were checking in and the room was stuck on 99 degrees. Got pushed over to this other Hilton. The process was at least an hour and staff were more concerned with correct process of transfer and not the fact that it is now 3am. The process was terrible and staff didn't really care much. I get it. Not their problem. Oh well

I was told that my Honors Member rate would be booked for the full stay. At check in, the reservation I made was not even for the correct number of nights. I booked for Wednesday thru Sunday but they only had my block of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday. We were told to come down and check out and check back in the following day. When we came down in the morning to take care of this, that front desk person said we should not have had to check in and check out and move rooms even though this is what we were told upon arrival. We then find out that our rate has gone from $187 to approximately $500 a night for the remaining stay. Of course we are shocked. We went to speak to the manager and he was not willing to meet us in the middle to find a solution. He gave us a hard no and said you won't find another hotel in this area for the remaining days. We found another hotel, three rooms left and did not stay and found other accommodations. I think there were enough issues with our reservations and being told a different story depending upon who we spoke with that the hotel. And if you have kids, you can make the free food and drinks your dinner and save some serious money dining out. By the way, the hot dogs are steamed and are wonderful. Really. I almost forgot: there's free and freshly-made popcorn in the lobby. You serve yourself. The room was nice and clean. They are serious about security at this location. This place does more than hand you a room key. It creates a whole little world you actually want to live in for a few days. The lobby feels like an enormous, stylish living room... warm lighting, a fire going, comfortable seating clusters, art on the walls, and people actually hanging out instead of just passing through. Mornings start at Maudine's, the in-house coffee shop and bakery off the main floor. Great espresso drinks, genuinely good pastries, and just enough personality to make it feel like a real neighborhood spot rather than a hotel afterthought. We grabbed coffee there both mornings and it set the tone for the day. During this stay we leaned hard into the food and drink options on property. Lunch and happy hour in the lower bar were excellent... well made cocktails, shareable plates, and staff who are actually present and tuned in. Later at night we headed up to Brass Eye for a nightcap. It has that perfect rooftop energy. Big views of the city, great music volume, and a "we're happy you're here" vibe instead of a scene you have to work to impress. The suite we stay in with the oversized tub feels like it was designed specifically for us. Spacious, modern, and romantic without trying too hard. The tub is huge. The shower is generous. The bed is incredibly comfortable. There are plugs where you actually need them. The window seating area is perfect for reading, talking, or just watching the city hum outside. It is one of those rare hotel rooms that makes you want to stay in as much as you go out. What really keeps us coming back though is the way we are treated. Every interaction, from the door staff to the front desk to housekeeping, feels grounded and human. Not scripted. Not fake. Just people who seem genuinely invested in making your stay great. On a birthday trip, that kind of care lands even harder. Each visit ends up feeling more magical than the last. The Junto is stylish without being cold, polished without being stiff, and thoughtful in all the right ways. If you are coming to Columbus and want a hotel that delivers on design, food, drinks, and real hospitality... stay here. This is the one.

It was great having the hotel and the convention center being connected without having to go outside. I found the hotel in good condition with great hotel rooms, great food options, and great service. The cost was also quite reasonable both at the conference rate and general Hyatt member rate. I also used status to get some nice perks at the hotel and was pleased overall with my experience. Prior to arriving to the hotel, I used a Suite Upgrade Award to receive an upgrade from a King Room to a 1-Bedroom Suite (King). When I arrived at the resort, I inquired about a further upgrade using my Globalist status, and after confirming that there was a VIP Suite available, they were able to provide me a further upgrade even though they acknowledged that this was based on availability and that Globalists typically only receive upgrades to standard suites. I really appreciate the flexibility the hotel provided at that time! I ate breakfast each day at the Market Stand restaurant where they had a buffet during the weekend and items could be ordered from the menu on other days (including the weekend). I also ordered drinks and dinner one night at the Big Bar on 2, which also hosted several receptions and socials during the time I was at the hotel. I also received two cards each good for a free appetizer and free non-alcoholic drink, which I used on the last day of my stay. Again, great service and tasty food and drinks. The housekeeping service was good even though I sometimes needed to inquire at the front desk about daily bottles of water. The room was in good condition with the exception of ants that were appearing from no where (and that I didn't drag in with me). They were only noticed on the last day and were in the corner of the bathroom and kitchenette. Otherwise, the suite was large and very spacious! They also brought me a birthday pie/cake since they knew I was celebrating. Otherwise, everything was top notch. If you are staying at a Hyatt Regency and have Globalist status for staying 60 nights at a Hyatt over the year, you can get bonus point accrual, early check-in, late check-out, upgrades at check-in based on available (to suites), free breakfast in the hotel restaurant (in this case the buffet at the Springhouse Cafe), elite check-in, and free parking (if booked on points) among other benefits. There are also occasional challenges where if you stay 20 nights in 90 days, you can get Globalist benefits for the next year. If I am traveling back to Downtown Columbus in the future, I'll certainly plan on staying here again. I certainly recommend it!

Also near the Crew stadium and just down the street from a super cute little quiet park with lots of walking paths. The only bummer is the club directly across the street that was bumping profane music, which was kind of annoying. DON'T park in the parking adjacent to the hotel in the liquor store parking lot. It looks like you can pay to park but the church reserves the lot for Sundays so you WILL GET TOWED if your car is in there overnight. We didn't realize it said 3am, not 3pm, so both our car and my father in-law's car got towed. Luckily the tow lot is just .9miles down the street so just a walk away. I guess we'll just valet and stay in the hotel parking lot next time, would be worth it. Cute rooms! Very nice, clean, tidy, well laid out with lots of little amenities throughout for how compact the room is. Big bathroom, which is nice!!! LOTS of outsets and USB outlets for charging. Definitely no view in the room we had though. We could just see the cement ceiling part of whatever hotel structure is below us. They could possibly put some decor or something low maintenance out there just for some sort of view. The room coffee was decent! I appreciated the two creamers included, some hotels don't include any creamer, which it at that point the coffee is pointless to me. Luckiy my fiance drinks his black so I was able to use the creamers. I appreciated this little detail. I also do like the full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the rooms, as sometimes those tiny little things don't even have enough in one for my hair alone let alone anyone else that is staying with me. We had these rooms on points so value for the price I'm honestly not sure. But I definitey wasn't dissappointed by any means!
