Paul assured me that I can pick up the parts on October 15 (I live in Baltimore and we spoke in the evening on October 14, so I couldn't pick up the parts at the same day for obvious reasons). He even wrote down name and phone number. I confirmed that I will arrive at noon on October 15 to pick up the parts. As promised, I arrived to the autoparts store at 1.30 pm on October 15. I was told that the parts that have been booked for me were sold to another customer earlier that morning. I spent 4 hours driving to the store, $70 for gas and tolls, and it's all for nothing, only because Paul can't keep his promises. I wouldn't recommend this auto parts store to anybody. TERRIBLE SERVICE EXPERIENCE! I was told by a reputable auto service center that I needed a primary…read morecontrol module updated or replaced and had to go to the dealer because only the dealer could program a PCM. The reputable car repair shop diagnosed the issue and explained the solution. I provided Hertrich the diagnostic paperwork with the codes, the Dodge Ram service bulletin that described the problem and how to diagnose it and the technicians notes with the corresponding voltage readings. Service manager looked at everything and told me not to leave it because he didn't want to "lead" his technician toward a particular problem. He also said in his experience, it was the oil pump. I told him I wasn't paying for another diagnostic if it was the PCM because I already paid for that once and if it were something else then okay. It was the PCM exactly as I had been told by the reputable service center. When I picked up the truck, I asked why I was being charged $200 for another diagnostic when I had provided the diagnostic report, the service bulletin and the voltage readings confirming the PCM as the problem. He said, "W don't accept outside diagnostics." He refused to deduct the $200 diagnostic which consists of hooking up a computer to a plug and waiting 90 seconds for the reading. I had stopped servicing my truck there several years ago but had no choice since they are the only Ram dealer in town. DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE HERE!

Once she bought the car and it was in her possession they did not show any respect or empathy for the issues she was having. They had no desire to even offer to help with any of the expenses of the repairs. I first went to Newark Toyota in 2023 to have my catalytic converters replaced, after they were…read morestolen. Toyota charged me over $3000 for replacing the two stolen catalytic converters! Then in the spring of 2026 I started to have symptoms indicative of one of the converters failing. I took my vehicle to Toyota and discuss the issue with the service advisor Jason Curley, in early July of 2026. He instantly told me that Toyota only warranties are catalytic converters for one year, which is absurd for a catalytic converter or any emissions related part. He also tried to pass the buck by saying "" that's a Toyota policy "" finally, he scheduled my vehicle for inspection to see if the catalytic converter was in fact, failing I arrived at my appointment and while they were inspecting my vehicle for an hour and a half, I was eventually told that Indeed one of the catalytic converters was failing. I was told that I would be contacted within the next couple days, by Jason Curley after he attempted to contact Toyota to see if they would provide a good faith replacement. I did not hear from Jason Curley for over three weeks! When I finally did, he left a voicemail stating that he contacted Toyota and they weren't gonna do anything about it, because it was out of their warranty. I contacted Toyota corporation who when requesting a review regarding this matter for good faith replacement told me "" we will not do a review because your vehicle is too old "" I would not recommend anyone obtain service through Newark Toyota, in the future, and be aware that Toyota's parts warranties are awful! They also seem unwilling deviate from anything regardless of situation! I will be escalating this matter to further authorities for resolution..
