She bought a car in June and has had nothing but issues with it. Took it back several times for the windows to be fixed (something they had "fixed" before selling it" and the check engine light that kept coming on. Windows were finally fixed but I guess the check engine light was just reset because she ended up having to put a new motor in the vehicle. Our mechanic said there is no way they weren't aware of the engine problems. One of my daughter's visits to the dealership resulted in her being told to leave the property and left her sobbing. She couldn't understand why they would treat her this way. She went from being proud to be able to finance her own car to embarrassed that she got taken advantage of. They have basically called her a liar and put down our mechanic. They were not good at returning phone calls or following up in regards to the tags for the vehicle and the issues they agreed to fix. Once she bought the car and it was in her possession they did not show any respect or empathy for the issues she was having. They had no desire to even offer to help with any of the expenses of the repairs. If you buy from them I would HIGHLY recommend you have your mechanic check it out from top to bottom before signing anything. read more

Recently moving up here to Cecil county. I was on the lookout for a place to buy a reliable car, while not breaking the bank in the process. Insert Jackson Station. A hidden gem along route 40 that provides all sorts of automobile needs. From a luxury enthusiast BMW to a dependable work 4x4 truck. The staff is friendly and caters to your every need. Pricing and service is top notch, and the whole buying experience is as easy as it can get. I went into a couple of other dealers, but lot appearance and selection did not match what you could find here. First off I want to start this review by saying I wouldn't ever recommend this place for anyone to carshop at!!! My mother came here to buy a car and it had flat tire and wasn't inspected and so the owner Ray Polanski stated that he inspects the cars when people buy them(MD law is that a dealer cannot sell a car that is not MD inspected) so my mother didn't really know any better so she gave him the benefit of the doubt and started to work a deal with him. He said the following day he would have the car inspected and it would be ready to test drive......so a few days go by my mother calls him and said he had to order some type of module for the car red flag #1 then she said OK well let me know when it is done so she can test drive it . so she gave the guy Ray 700 dollar deposit to hold the car for her and he ran her credit to make sure she was good for financing and she was. So about a week goes by and she heard nothing so she called the dealer and they said they must have installed the wrong parts on the car....red flag #2 so she said so when will it be ready? and this is a week and a half into the situation and they said oh it will be ready tomorrow . My mother had then filled me in on all that has been going on and I told her that none of this that she was telling me made sense so I told her I will take her to another place to find a car , so we went to another lot and did a credit application and got approved for a vehicle . so at this time I took her back to Jackson station to get her $700.00 refunded back to her. The owner Ray was out sick that day according to his 18 year old son that was "running the business" for that day and I told them we were here to get her money back and cancel the deal. So at this time the son and the receptionist had stated why? We got you approved ......ams my mother said she just didn't feel good about the dealer and what to take her business else where . So the son calls his father on the phone and co plins we wanted to cancel the deal and get a refund so the father asked to speak to me on the phone and began to try to persuade me to not cancel and I simply said no she don't want to do business with you because she feels your a shady business man and doing illegal deals that violate MD MVA laws for used car dealers so the son is getting angry with me saying stop yelling at my dad he is sick , give me back my phone and I said I will soon as I finish talk to your father so the son slamms the glass doors to the building open and goes outside in a heat of rage and making growling noises and then comes back in and states to me that he is 18 years old and ready to go and insinuating he wanted to have a physical altercation (fist fight) with me  while I was still on the phone with his father so I asked the father for the refund and he told me she will not get a refund till he sells the car to another buyer cause he used the 700 dollars for parts for the car she was looking at to get it to pass inspection which still has yet to pass. So I said you refuse to give it back and he said yes she don't get it back till he sells that vehicle!! So I said I'll have my lawyer contact you. He said fine I can do this all day!! So his son pushed us out the door and said leave . she did go back there the following day and after some time arguing with the owner Ray he did say I don't have to give you your money back so she said well I won't waste my time I'll just get ahold of Glen burnie MVA investigation division. So as she began to walk out he said well come back and get your money so he wrote her a check then and she said thank you so she took the vhack cashed it and bout a great car at another dealer called Dependable Auto in northeast MD. Go see the owner there his name is Austin he put her in a car and at a lower payment nicer car and she was totally happy with the experience she was in and out and had a car that day! Great Staff and very Friendly. I needed a good used car for my son in College. I pass by the area several time, but only thought they had high end vehicles. Yet, was referred by another customer about and inexpensive used reliable car for under $3,000. Ray and Ricky went out of their way on every question I had, fixed even the minor details, willing to go the extra mile when I wanted to fix a few cosmetic issues. Ray was even willing to let my son take several test drives prior to purchansing Vehicle. With his Son working there and Ricky always willing to answer any questions, it felt like a small, Hometown business rather than other larger companies who only want you to buy the most expensive vehicle on the Lot. Will reccomend to others and would do business again. Since, I am a local Coach at the High School, I sure many of my players and families will come in to buy from the Jackson Station Staff. I wish I could give a lower rating. Bought a car here with all the money I saved up, I was foolish enough to think Ray the owner was an honest person. He used all the old tricks in the book to make me buy the car, like telling me it used to be his personal vehicle. I should have caught on when he said I couldn't take it to a mechanic, (he said something along the lines that they are a small dealership so they can't insure the car while I drive it), but I was too excited about the car. After driving the car for an hour I started to feel grinding, when I brought it to a mechanic he told me that all the bearings were completely worn out, and he was surprised I made it as far as I did, when Ray specifically told me the car was checked by his mechanic and was in top shape. Not only that, my mechanic told me the car was in a serious accident, and once again when I was purchasing the vehicle Ray told me there was no serious accident, only some cosmetic damage due to a fender bender. I brought it back to Jackson Station and Ray told me he would fix it. When I came back to pick it up he informed me it would be a GRAND for the work when originally he told me it would be free or max a couple hundred. Like a sucker I payed it out but when I brought it to my mechanic he told nothing was touched! Jackson Station charged me over $1000 for work that was never done! Sadly this is not the worse part of it, after all said and done I went to go register the vehicle and the DMV told me that I can't register it because it's considered a salvage vehicle and I need either before and after pictures of the vehicle or an insurance report, both of which were impossible to obtain (I tried for 3 days, calling innumerable people). When I confronted Ray about this he told me I signed a form that said I understood it was a salvage vehicle. He was indeed right, in tiny letters on one of the forms that his secretary shoved at me and told me were just formalities, was written that it was a salvage vehicle and I signed it. I couldn't do anything about it, so after the entire affair I lost the car worth $5000 and was left with nothing. Being a student I couldn't even afford another car and I traded in my old one. I've never felt like more of a sucker in my life, I should have been waaaay more careful when dealing with scumbags like car dealers but it was my first time and I like I said I was very excited. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, but if you decide to go check out a car at Jackson Auto don't fall for Ray's nice tone! Please double check every single form they give you to sign, and if he tells you that you can't take the car to a mechanic just walk out the door! read more
