My man brought his truck here a few weeks ago and got some work done on it as it was having trouble starting. Car stopped starting after he went to an event and was stranded. Luckily it was stuck at a Mr. Tire. We paid for Mr. Tire to run a diagnostic and they let us know that it's not the alternator or the starter that's causing the car not to start back up and they recommended we bring it back to Haris Auto where the original work on the transmission shifter cable and neutral safety switch was done. So I called Haris Auto and they agreed that we should have the car towed back to them so that they could run a free diagnostic and told me that if the work that was done previously was done incorrectly (which I informed them that's what Mr. Tire was implying) that they would honor the warranty and fix it for free. I asked Haris Auto if they had a towing service and they said that they did INITIALLY and that they could tow the car to their location for $300 (which is around the same price I was getting from other tow companies) and they offered it at $250 TO ME for the inconvenience that happened with the vehicle in the first place. I asked them if the problem happens to be incorrect work done on the car would we still have to pay for the tow and they simply said yes and then said that they don't have tow services, they're offering this to us for my man being a customer. My man calls to confirm and they tell HIM that the tow would be $300 instead of $250 that they originally quoted me. I called them back to confirm and asked if I could get it in writing and so they sent me a text which is what's pictured. The entire thing sounded fishy at this point and had to ask them to confirm a day and time that the car would be picked up and when the work up would begin. At first he said Sunday and then came back and said that the tow guy refused to work on Sunday, so they confirmed Monday at 12pm. As annoyed as I already was, I simply took it for what it was since it was out of our control. Fast forward to today (Monday) 12:30 comes around and I get ZERO CALL about the ruck getting picked up, so I called them to confirm and they're telling me that my man cancelled the tow on his truck meanwhile all he did was grab the other car that he has FROM THEIR SHOP due to this ENTIRE ordeal. I called Haris Auto to see what was going on and where the confusion came into play and when I called them out on it they hung up on me and told me to give them a minute to figure it out. They call back 5 minutes later and tell me that their town guy is in Virginia and would pick up the truck later today, I asked them to provide me with a time and they said maybe around 3-4pm and they would get started on the truck later that day knowing full well they closed at 6-7pm and the car was at least an hour from their location where it was stuck at. I told them that if the truck wasn't picked up then I would be contacting the Attorney General's Office for bad business malpractice and the Better Business Bureau and they didn't like that so they said they weren't getting the truck anymore, called my man and asked HIM to tell ME to chill out because I was making threats. They weren't threats at all, they were followed through promises and I figured I would take it a step further to warn everybody in Aberdeen and it's surrounding areas to GIVE SOMEBODY ELSE YOUR MONEY! The vehicle had a check-engine light, a broken door, and damage from a crash in the back. I was told that these issues would be taken care of and that the vehicle would be switched out, but that never happened. Every time I brought it up, I was told they were going to fix it or switch it, so I continued to wait and trust what I was being told. Now, a year later, I am still stuck with the same piece of crap. I did not go there looking for this vehicle, and I would never have agreed to it if I had been told the truth from the beginning. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I was in a situation where I needed a vehicle immediately. Promises were made to get me to accept the car, but those promises were never kept. Think twice before doing business here. Get everything in writing, have the vehicle independently inspected, and do not rely on verbal promises. My experience has been extremely disappointing.

The lady scheduling wouldn't even come to the counter and just yelled out, "We're too busy". Leaving my car is tough to do when you don't live in this state and just passing through, as I explained to them. Regardless, leave the car they said. I just wanted at minimum a diagnostic. Hook it up to the machine. Perhaps it's maybe something stupid I can resolve. Classless. I hope our Mazda dealers in Florida don't treat you the same way. They shouldn't.
