Everything...I mean every appliance I bought from ABW has broken and needed repair many, many times. Fisher Paykel dishwasher (2), Liebherr Freezer (ice machine has had 20+ service trips in 3 years and still isn't working), Hoshizaki ice maker. I must have spent $50k on appliances with ABW. They were all lemons and the service has never completely fixed anything. And everytime there is a service charge. They won't guarantee service repair past 45 days. HORRIBLE. JUST DON'T. VERY happy with our purchase and delivery from ABW. We had went to another store where a salesperson didn't really want to help us when it came to answering questions about dishwasher features. Then we bought a machine from a big box hardware store that came in the box damaged. In the defense of that store, at least the person who sold the machine had some information. Once that happened, I went and did my own research and found out that the first saleperson really didn't want to sell anything the day we walked in his store, so we figured we would try another high end appliance store to buy what we wanted in the first place, which was another Bosch dishwasher. The salesperson did not pressure us, he took the time to answer the questions we had and their price was the same as the other stores we had been to. We had them deliver and unbox it which ended with us getting a machine that was in good shape. Husband installed it and we are very happy with it. ABW handles a lot of high end appliances, so if you are looking for something that is of good quality, this is the store for you. The only reason I am giving ABW more than one star is because of their great technician, Nate. He is a good guy working for the most disjointed, incompetent service department in all of the DMV. First visit was in early May for a dishwasher that collects water during the day and a leaking refrigerator. Their automatic system collected $155 for diagnostics for the first appliance and $80 for the second. So before the visit I already paid $235. Nate came to diagnose - he was great. Both appliances needed new water valves. He told me that he'll order the parts and that I'll get a scheduling email in a couple of days. A week goes by so I call. Representative tells me that they are waiting on parts. Another week goes by so I call again. Rep tells me that they got the dishwasher part but still waiting on the refrigerator part. Another week goes by so I call again. Rep tells me that they have the dishwasher part but that they didn't place an order for the refrigerator part because I didn't pay for the part. WHAT?!?!? Then she corrects herself and says that I can pay when they fix the issue. But then also tells me that there is no documentation of the $235 I already paid...WHAT?!?!? So then I plead to please order the part. And I wait. Another week goes by and this time I talk to a gentleman who is more helpful and says that something got confused and they don't have the refrigerator part - but that he will place the order and even schedule me for the repairs! Nate comes again - he's a good guy. And he discovers that they gave him the wrong dishwasher part!!!!!! So now, square one with the dishwasher. But at least fix the refrigerator? Sure, that part is the right one, so Nate replaces the water valve on the refrigerator...and counts this repair done. BUT - I get water from the spigot, but the ice maker doesn't fill. So something is wrong with the water valve. And so I call again - this time to tell them to keep the $235 (oh, which they eventually "found") but that I just want to be done with them. I have no confidence that the organization can provide customer service. And I'm convinced they are going to keep trying to bill me for the "repairs". Hey ABW - neither my refrigerator or dishwasher are repaired. If you want the new water valve back that doesn't fill my ice maker, then come get it. I'm done with ABW - and I'm done trying to fix these two very expensive only 10 yo appliances. I'm tossing them and buying new - but not from ABW!!! Good luck! read more

I want to express my thanks to the excellent performance of each employee I encountered during the process of purchasing a cooktop from ABW. This was not a simple job to explain to the sales rep., Shonelle, who actively listened to the design conundrums, the installations complications (a granite top on the island needed to be enlarged), and a strict time frame to accomodate. All of these requirements were met by the rest of the team; Miguel, Tommy, Joe, Brittany, Victoria, and Rachel. They worked to make all of this happen. Each employee proved trustworthy; each did what they said. I very much appreciate a company like ABW who promised and delivered from start to finish. The cooktop is superlative. Bought a new dishwasher. They came out to measure to make sure everything would fit. Service and installation was great.

I would under no circumstances recommend. They have been to my home 3 times and still have not fixed my dryer. They charged me for an expensive part that did nothing to fix the dryer. I was told for the first visit that I had to wait a longer time for an available appointment because 2 technicians were needed to handle a stackable dryer. Only one arrived and he could not move the dryer so nothing was done. I was charged for the visit. The second time 2 technicians did arrive, installed the expensive new part and left while the dryer was still not working. I was told that on the next appointment a technician specialist would come -- at this next appointment they did not fix the dryer. Instead, I received another call the day after that visit and was told they were ready to schedule the specialist -- when I said that was already supposed to have happened the day before I was told that instead they sent someone with "more experience" but now they would send a specialist. I talked to a gentleman named Pablo that I was told was the manager. I have tried reaching him since and have not heard back. Furthermore, they will not schedule a reasonable appointment period like other service providers. You will need to take at least a 1/2 day off work, possibly more - - every single time they fail to perform. They have zero respect for the customer -- one of the women who answers the phone specifically told me they schedule appointment times for the convenience of the technicians not the customers . On the appointment days when I call to find out how much longer to wait I am frequently told 10-20 minutes and it can instead be 45. As you can tell -- I am so angry at this business. read more
