I had only budgeted a certain amount for this visit, so the unexpected charges meant I couldn't tip as much as I would have liked, and I apologize for that. It wasn't a reflection of the service everyone was super nice, and I really liked how my nails turned out! The Gel-X nails alone were $85. I understand that you're paying for the time and skill involved in applying, shaping, and painting them. Still, since I buy similar nail tips on Amazon and do my nails at home, that price was personally hard to justify. The atmosphere was very calming, with classical music playing. I honestly almost wanted to take a nap! Overall, the service was great, and my main concern was the lack of clear pricing upfront. I recommend confirming the full cost, including any extras, before getting started. Would I come back? Yes, for a special occasion. For regular upkeep, though, I'll stick to doing my nails at home. I even came from a different nail salon because I thought people were overcharging from the other place and I used to love getting my nails done too. But I feel like these places are charging way too much just to put an Amazon nail and charge 20 for nail polish color on your nails.
