I contacted the tow company and told them that. they told me the actual owner was sending title in to get it transferred. today i got a certified letter regarding the vehicle. I called DMV and they told me i can disregard the letter or since i was registered owner of the vehicle i could pay whats owed and get the vehicle. I called the tow company again and they told me even though im the registered owner there is a 2nd lien holder ( notice of sale)on it and only that 2nd lien holder could get the vehicle. DMV doesnt show a 2nd lien. if i cannot get the vehicle then why keep sending me letters on it? im not responsible for any tow bill or storage

wow ... today at Bennett Interlock was different. the guy -- tallish, curly hair wearing those…read moreneck covers that double as a face mask -- I waited over 5 mins for someone to come out to my car but no one came so I gently beeped my horn a couple time real quick - didn't lay on it - I had my dogs in my car and didn't want to leave them alone to go looking for someone and thought maybe they were in the back and what not - anyway, he had the face mask on, when we walked up to my his first words were "did you honk your horn at me!" - I said I honked to make sure someone knew I was here. He gave me this cold hard stare then asked for my credit card and disappeared inside for another 5 min or so - came back out and gave my stuff and said I was done. He was just rude compared to the other employee I have had regular interactions with - it's disappointing that someone can be so rude in the service industry. I wasn't rude, wasn't upset, didn't complain, made sure I smiled - if I had a choice, I would take my business else where, but b/c of my work hours I don't. But really, this guy needs a refresher course in customer service.

I took my car back and they offered to take a look even though they knew it wasn't attached to any work they previously did. Only 20 mins later they were able to determine that it's a common issue with my car and they even offered to fix it, though they don't usually do that type of work. They had me order the part on Amazon, charged me a flat labor fee an asked me to comeback for the install. When I went back for the install it took them maybe 30 mins and it was completely fixed and recommended a shop if the issue ever happens again. They handled my needs with white glove service and were all very kind for going out of their way to help me. Special shout out to Justin. He really spearheaded helping me.
