Stayed here on vacation with family and was a lovely stay. Large clean rooms. Breakfast was really yummy.

Comfortable couch to watch TV and dining table in the back.

Just arrived from the U.S. The staff was super friendly. Chelsie upgraded us to a suite, which was amazing with a town view and river view. I'm including a video. We'll definitely be back to Limerick.

We stayed for one night, but wish we had stayed another. Parking was easy there were at least 10+ spots when we arrived around 430pm. Free parking is always a plus! The room was huge! It's always nice to have a large room - these days hotel rooms feel so small. The room was clean and had really nice bathroom amenities. We easily walked down to the river and had a drink at a pub. We returned to the hotel to have dinner. My dining partner had a burger, I had the seafood chowder, and our little one had the kids pasta. My dining partner enjoyed their burger. My seafood chowder was SO good. And the bread on the side was yummy! Our little ones kids size portion was huge! And it was good. Our server Amy was really nice and friendly. The next morning we had breakfast and it was really good and well stocked with options. I'd stay again!

Really great hotel! I was surprised by how nice the room was. Service is good and it's just 3 short blocks away from Locke bar. Modern amenities and clean decor. Comfortable too! Our stay came with free breakfast. The complimentary coffee was good and the dining room was quite nice. They had the traditional Irish breakfast items as well as healthier options like fruit and yogurt. There's also a separate menu if you'd like freshly made eggs or omelets. Glad we stayed here while we were in limerick!

We had narrowed our hotel options to a top 2 for our night in Limerick. The Absolute Hotel ended up as our final choice because of the unique look of the rooms (exposed brick wall), the central location, and free parking. It was also VERY reasonably priced. The Absolute Hotel ended up being the most pleasant surprise from the stay. During our trip around Ireland, we stayed at 6 different hotels / B&Bs. The Absolute Hotel was my 2nd favorite (1st place goes to a B&B so it isn't quite an equal comparison). From the outside the hotel is very unassuming. Inside it is gorgeous. Very industrial chic. We opted for the classic room but were upgraded to a superior room (larger room with more seating). The room was very comfortable. We both slept very well on the bed and didn't wake up with a sore back as we had at previous places on the trip. The man working the reception was very friendly and helpful. We had an idea of where we wanted to go for dinner and he gave additional recommendations and let us know when live music would begin at our top choice. We also did not know what to do for breakfast the next morning as we needed to leave fairly early and most places weren't open. He recommended the hotel's restaurant and gave us a coupon for the buffet. We ended up eating at the breakfast buffet the next morning before our long drive back to Dublin and were thankful for a stress free option. Absolute Hotel was a great choice for our night in Limerick. We were able to walk to the nearby Locke Bar and not worry about driving back after. We also walked by the nearby St. Mary's Cathedral and could see King John's Castle in the distance. The Hunt Museum is also a short walk across the canal. I highly recommend the Absolute Hotel. 5 stars.

Breakfast !

The three of us exhaustively rolled in at about midnight to the Absolute Hotel. We checked in with ease and made our way to our room. Like I mentioned there were three of us and they took note of that and had the pull out bed made with a nice comforter. There were three of everything... Towels, soap, shampoo, drinking glasses. Really impressed. The breakfast buffet was very nice, with fresh made omelets and French toast. All in all very impressed and would stay here again.

This hotel has a very modern feel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff was beyond helpful. Their restaurant served some of the best food we've had in town. The spa offers a plentitude of services for reasonable prices.

This was a nice evening. The restaurant is on the river, very pretty setting. The service was good, it was a little on the slower side but very sweet. The seafood chowder was ok, but had no salt in it, and the fish n chips was pretty decent, but server never returned to ask how I was so I never got extra tartar sauce or any ketchup for my fries.

Really nice hotel... 5star feel to it... great value for money and perfect location...on the water... close to King Johns castle... Would definitely recommend... and the food is amazing... 3 course dinner for €25.

I love boutique hotels that you can actually afford. For just €80 in the Absolute Hotel you'll get a fantastic room that's specked out to the nth degree. They're lovely. The door on the bathroom is glass which I was worried about initially but don't worry you can't see through it. The beds are huge and so comfortable. The bar is super and allow residents to stay until the wee hours. There are vending machines in the corridors which have everything from a spare toothbrush to cans of beer in them - very handy. The Absolute is a beautiful hotel & they've thought of everything. If you've got anything on in Limerick and you need a bed - stay here.

King room.

The nearest store is a Lido supermarket and a Circle K Gas station. I walked there because the hotel had no ATM machine and the desk clerk told me that the gas station has one. When I arrived at said gas station the gates were pulled down over the entire station it looked like a prison. Made me wonder about the neighborhood. Nothing was open even though it was only 8:30 am. Also to my surprise no wash cloths a sign said call operator for a wash cloth I thought that was also strange, you have bath towels and hand towels, but why no washcloth. Nice restaurant but only euros and credit cards accepted here. US currency not accepted in Ireland. Not because of you know who but Ireland is part of the EU. It was easy enough getting there from Dingle and not long of a drive. Our hotel was right on the "strand" (which is what they call rivers? in Ireland). We got incredibly lucky and got upgraded to an amazing suite when we checked in. We aren't sure if it is because it was only one night's stay, or because we used the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, but it was literally the biggest and nicest room my husband and I had EVER stayed in (August 2023). Unfortunately the hotel didn't offer laundry services for only one night, but the staff was very helpful in sharing some food recommendations for dinner and breakfast. Emily and Scott were especially helpful making sure we had everything we needed and making us feel very comfortable and welcomed into the city. The hotel itself is located in a perfect spot between being able to walk the main downtown streets and still close enough to the points-of-interests. It felt designed towards business related events and we really clean, nicely decorated and smelt good! In the lobby, they had a piano (which the F major key didn't work) but that's ok. Our junior suite was on the third floor, and was the corner room with a wrap around balcony giving 180°+ views of the city, including the King John's Castle. It was the only true king size bed we have had and even had 2 sinks! It was furnished beautifully and has perks like blankets for the glassed-in balcony and modern accent lighting. We really liked this hotel and was our favorite by far!!

My husband was happy to find someone that knew how to make a decent Old Fashion cocktail! Our bathroom was fairly small, but functional enough. Like many in Europe, the bathroom does not have washcloths (only hand towels and bath towels). Our room was pretty spacious and our bed was very comfortable, something I can't say for every hotel on our tour. The room had a nice sized t.v. that had a Netflix option on it, another stand out feature from some of our other stays this trip. We had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant. The food portions were large and restaurant staff friendly. We really liked our chicken appetizer, but my hamburger lacked seasoning (tasted a bit bland---needed salt/pepper/garlic). The breakfast options were pretty usual for Europe and the servers were great with coming around to refill coffee. If staying in Limerick, I think this hotel is a really good option to consider.

No1 Pery Square - Butternut squash soup with bread. What more could anyone ask for on a chilly rainy day in Ireland?

Absolutely everything was marvelous: My room was spacious, well-stocked, cozy, quiet and with a large bathroom; the bar and lounge/cafe on the ground floor offered a delicious menu--both full lunches and evening light fare--along with well-made drinks; the spacious breakfast room was a treat (think shakshuka, eggs Benedict, porridge, French toast); the staff, especially at the front desk, was courteous and considerate; and the spa, where I booked a lovely facial, was professional and relaxing. A special shout-out to the young man at the front desk who took care of all my requests, respected that I didn't want to be disturbed but was always available for a little chat when I emerged from my room. He helped to make my brief stay that much more enjoyable. The only negative comments I would make are that the carpet in my room needed cleaning or replacing. And I wasn't aware there was a rubber bath mat available upon request (perhaps it could be placed on the tub automatically), making climbing in and out of the tub to take a shower a bit precarious. I'd return just to stay at 1 Pery Square. Thanks for such a marvelous visit!
