I would like to commend Dawn for playing a pivotal role helping Lora manage and improve her conditions. Great work provided by Dawn, who has been busy with other patients, but still has taken her time to make Lora feel like she is the only patient there. Dawn Hanson's extra attention, a little motivation, or just words of support are so important. I am very grateful for Dawn's assistance and moral support as this amazing experience has created an indelible impression in Lora's heart. Dawn is truly a hard working professional, serious, responsible, meticulous, and friendly, but most importantly, she sincerely cares about her patients. The attention to all Lora's needs and personal interest in her well being is more than one can wish for. The most enjoyable part of Dawn's job is the education she provides to patients impact their daily lives. Thank you very much for everything in deed!

I've been searching for real help for over 10 years, and I don't say this lightly when I say that…read moremeeting Carina O'Neill truly changed something in me. Over the years, I've seen countless doctors, specialists, and pain clinics. I've had just about every injection you can imagine. What stood out to me before I even met her was that multiple doctors, all from different buildings and institutions, independently told me the same thing, "If anyone can help you, it's her." That alone says everything. From the moment I met Dr. O'Neill at Spaulding in Braintree, I felt something I haven't felt in a very long time... I truly felt seen. She didn't rush me. She didn't talk over me. She didn't treat me like a chart, a case, or a number. She treated me like a human being who has been carrying pain for a very long time. Her empathy was immediate and genuine. She spoke to me gently, listened fully, and truly validated everything I've been experiencing for years. The injections themselves were unlike anything I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. (I've had hundred maybe even thousands of injections over the years) She was able to inject in places no other doctor has ever addressed, areas I didn't even realize could be treated because no one else had the experience or confidence to go there. I felt relief right away, and in the days following I've noticed slow, meaningful progress, the kind of progress that brings real hope. But more than the physical relief, what has stayed with me is knowing that she truly cares. I can tell that no matter what, she will do everything in her power to help me. That kind of care is rare. After a decade of feeling dismissed, minimized, or overlooked, she made me feel like a person again. I now completely understand why she's talked about the way she is, why doctors across New England know her name, and why she's the one they send their hardest cases to. One visit was enough to see it clearly. Carina O'Neill is extraordinary. Without question, Carina O'Neill has put Spaulding Rehabilitation in Braintree on the map. I am beyond grateful I found my way to her, and for the first time in years, I feel hopeful.

The facility is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, meticulously clean, and maintains a quiet, calming environment. Patients are treated with genuine care, and it clearly shows in the staff's daily interactions. As a private duty nurse working with individuals who have dementia, I have seen many facilities and never have I found one I would feel comfortable recommending for my own family an. South Cove Manor is an exception. I would confidently choose this facility if such care were ever necessary. The majority of residents are Asian, though the facility is welcoming to all. Staff members speak a variety of Asian languages, which is a significant benefit for residents and families. While I have not personally tried the food, I have not heard any complaints. Residents appear well-adjusted, well-supported, and consistently cared for at a high level--something I cannot say about most places in this industry. A+

A few people to call out: Doctor Williams Nurse Supervisor - Oscar Overnight Tech - Patricia aka Pat OT - Joelle PT - Stephanie Case Management - Laura and Carol the Director Head of Food - Karla My mother was resistant going into Rehab after being in the hospital for over 10 days but now says it was the best place and so happy she went. From Doctor Williams to the Nurse Supervisor (Oscar) and the overnight Tech (Pat) who went over and above to make her feel so special and gave such great medical care it will last a lifetime of positive memories. The Therapists were amazing a group walk the first day and she was marching around and laughing with others with Joelle and Stephanie. Checking her vitals a few times to ensure she was in range while being on the bike. Stephanie showed the care and ensured we were familiar with different tools to use with her as she was being sent home. They both worked with the doctor to ensure that all of her medical needs were being looked at during any therapy that they gave. Laura our Case Manager was just amazing at keeping us informed and follow up since being home less than 24 hours. Her boss Carol who directs Case Management came by to check in a few times. Questioned all and given her a little feedback on the bathroom and the cold baked potato mentioned by my mother was obviously heard loud and clear. We then had the housekeeper in 2 x's to clean the room perfectly. Karla the head of dietary was just so sweet and brought my mother extra special treats like "hot apple pie and ice cream" one evening and her last day all of her wishes come true. Only feedback is a little update, and a bigger bathroom would be better for residents. Really can't speak more highly of the care of Encompass based on the staff that they have employed. Thank you!

She was at Brigham for over a month, and they moved her to a place in Brookline that was just not at all sufficient for someone that is sick. After being admitted again to the hospital, my family was told this place in Quincy was the only option and our hearts sunk because we only saw these 1 star reviews. This place is a honestly great because the nurses and the aids work and communicate well. There were plenty of rooms so my mom got her own room. They were kind and watch these patients well. It's not perfect, but if you come and check up on your family member every few days this place can be fantastic. My mom was comfortable and was able to recover well. We kept the nurses informed of any changes we noticed and they were kind and receptive. My sisters have spoken directly to the director of nursing and they tell me she is incredibly kind and sweet.
