I had a very disappointing experience with this business. When I first called to inquire about…read moretheir services, the owner was extremely impolite but insisted I send a text with my email, name, and preferred dates. I followed her instructions but then spent almost two weeks trying to set up an appointment, with little to no communication from her end. When she finally did respond, she was rude and dismissive, even going so far as to tell me I could just get my money back and use some very unprofessional language. This is not the kind of treatment anyone should expect when dealing with a business. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for better service and communication. Anyone with common sense can see how she treats people. Just check the other comments. I'm not the only one who was treated badly by her.

She was once good and the experience relaxing. As far as reliability not so much, a few years ago I bought a package of a series of massages. I didn't get a massage for about one year because I was working long hours. When I was able to book, I was charged full price for the massage because she had no proof of my buying the package. My credit card statement she said was for one massage and the tip. The package did not have an expiration and her "new system" should have recorded transactions especially for people that bought the package. When I got my massage, I felt like I was being punished. Definitely not a relaxing experience. I get messages on telegraph which makes sense that businesses use alternate methods to reach their audience, but they are of the political kind and that by no means inspires tranquility. It is sad because it was once good, I did buy a package of massages once. I write this because I recommended Kim to a friend and they had an experience trying to book and when they finally got in we're treated poorly but thankfully not walked on

I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.

The facility is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, meticulously clean, and maintains a quiet, calming environment. Patients are treated with genuine care, and it clearly shows in the staff's daily interactions. As a private duty nurse working with individuals who have dementia, I have seen many facilities and never have I found one I would feel comfortable recommending for my own family an. South Cove Manor is an exception. I would confidently choose this facility if such care were ever necessary. The majority of residents are Asian, though the facility is welcoming to all. Staff members speak a variety of Asian languages, which is a significant benefit for residents and families. While I have not personally tried the food, I have not heard any complaints. Residents appear well-adjusted, well-supported, and consistently cared for at a high level--something I cannot say about most places in this industry. A+
