I never thought I could be a runner and three months into this gym I ran my first 5k. What surprised me the most was not that I finished the race but I had the stamina from beginning to end. The gym is very clean. The owner has members bring other shoes to use while in the studio so things you might have walked in outside don't get into the workout floor. I have been to other gyms before but unlike those I have never felt like a healthy balance was dirty or full of germs. They have Clorox wipes all over and your asked to clean the mats if you use them. If my current job wasn't an hour in the opposite direction I would defiantly go back to a healthy balance. I would highly recommend this gym to the person who wants to lose weight but has no idea where to start.

Not built like your muscle head gyms. There are strength training circuits and cardio equipment. Everything is clean and very well maintained. It gets busy, never overcrowded; I've never had trouble getting the machine I want. Anytime you want to do a circuit, you schedule your time. This helps keep me accountable. The trainers work with you in the beginning one on one, but are always there making sure you are doing well. Client by client they help you keep on track by increasing your weights, keeping your workout fresh. Then they modify their machine order from time to time to be sure that your body doesn't get bored with the same old schedule. I have only been a member for two weeks now, but I am the happiest I have ever been in a workout/exercise setting. I'm confident that their program will work for me!
