It's been 14yrs since our wedding and David was wonderful. I wanted to make sure the flowers looked great for the photos and venue. Everyone loved the arrangements and special touches he added to the cake table and restroom. Very easy to work with and very professional. I've even used him for flowers for my sister's celebration of life. Very tasteful and beautiful as always. I'm glad you're still in business David! read more

We hired David for our wedding floral arrangement, and we couldn't be more pleased with his exceptional services. During our initial meeting, Dave showed us his portfolio of various flowers, colors and designs and made the right suggestion for us based on our wedding theme. On our wedding day, David delivered and setup our flowers timely, and everyone complimented how fresh and beautiful the flowers were. He even added LED lights in the centerpiece vases for extra touch of ambiance. We are so happy to have hired David for his professionalism, skillful knowledge and talent, and his super friendly personality. read more

Recently a friend had to be up from Southern California for a few days to attend to the passing of her father. David was able to handle a very short notice order (1 day) for funeral arrangements, efficiently and discreetly. He has been in the floral business for almost 30 years and knows the delivery locations and hours of the funeral homes/cemeteries in the Bay Area. We appreciated the ease with which he accommodated our needs during a difficult time and without adding any other distractions. read more

I am so glad I used David's services for my wedding! And also lucky that he was available as I only contacted him a few weeks before my ceremony at SF City Hall. I was looking all over Yelp for a florist but found that only David had modern bouquets (compared to other florists in the area that specialized in cemetery arrangements in Colma) in my area. I was looking for an affordable but high quality florists as I wanted to pick it up the day of and that's exactly what I got! I live in Daly City and his address was only 10 mins away! David was awesome at responding. We corresponded through email and he answered the many questions I had! All I gave him to work with was one image I pulled from Pinterest and he went above and beyond matching my inspiration image! He kept me updated with which flowers he found at the market and even gave me a heads up if the case was he has to substitute one. When it came time to picking up the bouquet, he also gave me a vase to hold it in!! I had so many compliments and it was truly beautiful. Thanks David for your great services and talent. I have the beautiful wedding pictures I always wanted!! read more

Absolute Elegance made the most beautiful bouquet and boutonniere for my friend's wedding. The bride had selected some photos she loved, but they also wanted jasmine added in. The final product was stunning, smelled beautifully, and everyone mentioned how lovely they were all day. Working with Absolute Elegance was extremely easy, quick, and affordable. I highly suggest them! read more

David's work is just outstanding! He made my wedding bouquet and I loved it!! It was beautiful. It looked better than what I thought it was going to look. We only needed to meet once for 10 minutes. David did such a beautiful job with the flowers for our wedding that it still creates wonderfully fond memories 10 years later. With his experience and advice, David offered many creative ways to incorporate our favorite flowers into the ceremony. His work is detailed and elegant, and we received many requests for his information, including a request from the hotel we married at. We referred him to many of our friends, and at each of their weddings, the flowers were absolutely beautiful. I completely trust David's ability to create the perfect floral arrangement for any occasion. read more

I volunteered to get flowers for the stage at my son's high school graduation. I wanted a "simple elegance" design that was within the PTO's budget. The school colors were red, white and blue so I stressed to David it could not look like July 4th. I didnot use the previous florist because I was so disappointed with the lack of care in carrying out last year's design. I was NOT disappointed this time. His flowers were more than I expected. In fact, the principal, VP, teachers and staff commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Plus during the graduation, the smell from the flowers started to flow through the gym making the event even more pleasant. The flowers were a success because lots of students were being photographed in front of them. I waited a lot longer than years before to put the flowers away at the end of the ceremony due to the constant picture taking. David was easy to work with. He let us use our own vases and lent us tall ones to save on cost. He added big roses for the red and was able to discreetly add blue flowers in addition to creating elegance with the tall flowing, bending calla lilies all without looking July 4th holiday. He came through for me and I won't hestitate to use him again. read more

David came out to Hawaii for a few of my friends weddings. His prices were very reasonable and quality was excellent. Everyone was surprised how much nicer the quality was than we have here. Even though we paid for his airfare and hotel, it was cheaper than if we paid regular price in Hawaii. The flowers were enjoyed by all. It was a pleasure working with him. Would definitely recommend him to everyone else, especially for destination weddings! read more

I will never use another florist, Dave was the florist for my wedding. I told him my colors and my favorite flowers and let him do his magic. It was no surprise that Dave created exactly what I wanted. He is so professional and knowledgeable in weddings, I had no doubt that he would arrange something beautiful and classy. He not only was a wonderful florist, but assisted me in other aspects of my wedding. He has so much knowledge in coordinating a wedding. He advised me and gave me tips on so many things. I gave Dave a few random examples of bouquets I liked. My bouquet was nothing less than perfect! I LOVED my bouquet! Dave is so reliable, friendly and easy to work with. I have been using Absolute Elegance for over 20 years now and have never been disappointed. Dave Wong has done arrangements for my nursing graduation and wedding and has over 30 years experience as a florist. His prices are really reasonable and his work is exceptional. Our wedding took place outside and he had the very difficult challenge of decorating a HUGE Gazebo. The day of the wedding came and I was just blown away, everything was mounted and just looked incredible. After the wedding he took everything down and gave it to the guests to take home, not one arrangement was left and everyone had a nice momento to take home. Thanks for making my wedding so memorable. You are the best. Go with Absolute Elegance, you will not be disappointed! read more

We were referred to David from a family friend, and he did an absolutely phenomenal job at our wedding. I had a very specific style in mind for my vineyard/barn wedding, and David's interpretation of my ideas totally blew me away. I wanted natural-looking, wild, spring-garden-like flowers, and he delivered. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, above-and-beyond what I was expecting. He was also great to work with. We met several times prior to the wedding, and he was always very professional and open to my ideas. Additionally, on the day of the wedding, he not only did a wonderful job setting up the flowers at the venue, he even ended up pitching in to help my dad and brother set-up other non-floral items. I would highly highly recommend David for your wedding flowers. read more

David was a florist that was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. And man can I just say how blown away I was by his work! From graduation leis for my niece to center pieces for my daughter, each time he has never failed to impress me. After talking with a few recommended florists, we decided to use David for our wedding at the Olympic Club in San Francisco. I met with him a couple of times to share my ideas for the autumnal wedding theme I was considering. David immediately understood what I was looking for and added some creative ideas I hadn't considered - including flower combinations, how to place the arrangements on pedestals at the altar and how to arrange pew flowers - all keeping withing my budget. The day of the event, everyone was completely blown away by how beautiful and abundant the flowers were. Many said it was the most beautiful wedding they had attended - citing the flowers especially. The pictures showcase his gorgeous and creative work. Thank you, David for going over the top and making our special day feel so magical! read more

David was referred to me by a friend and I'm very grateful he was able to be our florist for our wedding day. We met David on two occasions and he was very thorough about the types of flowers or colors we were going with. He ran over details I overlooked and I felt very comfortable working with him. He showed me samples of his work which was helpful for me to visualize the sizing and shape of our arrangements. At the end, David surpassed my expectations and we had beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. read more

I got married 2 weeks ago and did not want to forget to write a review for David! I initially found David through Yelp but found out that my boss knew him as well. I had met with 2 other florists prior to meeting David just so I had an idea of what kind of florist I wanted to work with and to compare prices as well. Our initial meeting took place about 9-10 months before our wedding. We went over what my vision was and he gave me his recommendations. I told him what my budget was and he was great about working with it without compromising what I wanted. After our initial meeting and after I decided to go with David we kept in touch throughout the months via email and then met one more time in person a few weeks before the wedding to finalize all the details. Come wedding day I was ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY with the centerpieces when I walked into the ballroom. They were larger and even better than what I had imagined and what we had discussed. I wanted to call David right then and there just to tell him how happy I was. He was so easy to work with, his prices are reasonable especially when you're on a "wedding budget" and his work is beautiful!!! Thank you David for making the day that more memorable. I will post pictures as soon as our photographer sends them. read more

I hired David to do the flowers at my outdoor ranch vintage chic style wedding for 250 guests on 10/12/13. My friend recommend him after he did the flowers at her Sonoma vineyard wedding the previous summer. David was awesome. At our first meeting, I didn't really know much about flowers or wedding flowers for that matter - but he walked me through everything step-by-step and made good suggestions. A few months before the wedding, I decided I wanted to change the color scheme and he was completely accommodating. I had collected hundreds of vintage bottles/jars and he was happy to incorporate those into the floral arrangements. When I arrived at the ranch on my wedding day, I was shocked by how beautiful everything was. The table arrangements and flowers for the wedding party were just gorgeous. He stayed through the ceremony to move the arrangements from the ceremony area to the reception area. So great! Hire David - you will not be disappointed!! read more

Dave is amazing! The flowers he arranged for my wedding were absolutely stunning! He helped me from start to finish and was very professional. He was very detailed, asked all sorts of questions, and really listened to what I had to say. He made himself available to me to schedule multiple meetings to discuss different designs and concepts. He always kept my budget in mind. On the day of my wedding, I was blown away with how beautiful all the flowers looked! The bouquets and the decor had all the colors and textures that I liked. My friends and family are still talking about the amazing work he did. I highly recommend Absolute Elegance for anyone who wants their wedding to be unique, beautiful, and perfect! read more

David is a true talent and we were so lucky to have him as our wedding florist! He is not only organized and professional, but also very honest, kind, and thoughtful. I'm a pretty picky bride, and after looking through pages and pages of Pinterest, I had my heart set on a soft, romantic look, full of peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, and dahlias. I don't know how David made it possible, but he was able to give me my dream flowers in March when no one else could! On the wedding day, David even came to find me to make sure I felt everything was okay. The flowers were not just okay, but perfect!! I still remember how fresh and beautiful the flowers were and how wonderful they smelled. If only they could last forever. David really listens and took note of all the details I wanted, from the rose-filled/candle-lit manzanita trees at the altar, to the table centerpieces that varied in height. David is very tasteful and creative. When he was not able to find the exact type of vase I wanted for my centerpieces, he found a similar vase and glued it to a candle holder! (see "medium centerpiece"). They were so pretty and no one could tell. He also suggested we use smaller manzanita branches as centerpieces to add "texture" to the room which was lovely. I couldn't have been happier with the final result! He made our dreams come true and I would recommend him to anyone!! See the pictures for yourself! All the flowers David provided were great. He worked with our budget to provide great looking flowers. The flowers he showed us in his portfolio basically matched what he was going to provide for us. There were thing we wanted for our flowers that were out of budget but he worked on alternatives that looked as good but cost less to bring us into budget. Also, all of our guests complimented how good they looked. We couldn't be happier with David and his flowers. read more
