Josh called day of and said they could come a little earlier than the appointment window, which worked out fine. As I suspected the 60-year-old drain pipe had a hole, actually a crack when he pulled it off. He fixed it right up, and though we know the rest of the pipes, original to the house, will need replaced eventually this got us going again. Price was reasonable for what it is. Service was great.

So when my in-laws AC unit quit working I had to include Gutridge in my requirement of getting at least 3 estimates when having work done. They were not the cheapest estimate and they were not the most expensive ( I got 4) but their price was most competitive for the the equipment (Goodman) that they provide. From Tyler and Tom who provided me with the estimate to Ron & Tom who did the work in a home that's at least 70 years old the process was very smooth and the whole HVAC system was replaced within a weeks time. Bottom line - If you need a drain cleared / unclogged - call Dave Riley first!…read more We made a BIG mistake. We had a drain clogged and called the company that worked on our AC because they said they do plumbing too! Disaster!! No overtime, No weekends, not enough plumbing staff! After waiting 3 days we still had a clogged drain. We had to find help and we'd been given Dave Riley's name from several friends. We called Dave - 8pm Friday NIGHT! He said he had a pretty full schedule Saturday, but he would fit us in!!. As promised- Dave showed up Saturday afternoon and he didn't screw around. He brought in his Snake / Auger machine and had the drain clean-out opened and the snake running in just mins. He was all done with the drains and toilets running ok. Dave was on his way in less than 20 mins. After waiting around on this other "big" company for 3 days and Dave got the job done in 20 mins! Dave also has ONE REASONABLE PRICE - No emergency rates and No weekend rates. Just a fair price for a job well done! When the other company was screwing around we called several friends for suggestions. We were surprised Dave Riley was the ONLY name mentioned and they all had nothing but praise for Dave and he has about 40-50 years experience m. So you are not getting some "kid" who doesn't know anything plumbing. In case you can't tell ... we are very pleased that we called Dave Riley. For us, Dave was the best thing to happen all that week!
