Worst Chevrolet dealership in the state of North Carolina they changed names every year. This time their reviews are terrible at cheating people out of their hard earned money, floating titles lying to the customers damaging their cars during service. The list goes on trust me this is a very dishonest dealership should not be in the general motorsdealership. read more

Karen was awesome! She was extremely pleasant and helpful with answering all the questions about the New Trail Blazer I was about the purchase. The exact color and features I wanted on the was not available at her dealership. Karen didn't hesitate in facilitating in finding the car I requested. She spoke to her manager (Andy) and had the car delivered to the dealership within a day or so. It was clean and ready to drive. Please ask for Karen and Andy if you are looking to purchase vehicle at Absolute Cheverolet. Denise read more

Our experience started out well with a call. Karen answered and we informed her that we were on our way to look at the vehicle we saw on their website. When we arrived, she was outside checking the vehicle. We immediately looked at the vehicle. She went to find the keys, but was unable to find them. She let the manager, Andy, know we were interested, but the keys were nowhere to be found. We sat in Karen's office and began the process to purchase the vehicle. She was great with our three year old and we had a pleasant conversation. She then directed us to finance.  Ji, the finanacer, was terrible. He was rude and condescending. He spoke to us as if we were not as important as the next customer. He failed to asked us about GAP insurance. I had to ask him to include it on our vehicle. Ji inquired about selling us a protection plan. I told him I was going to send the information to my dad about the protection plan because he used to sell cars. He told me he (my dad) needed to hurry up and respond because there was a mother and son waiting and they were closing soon. I told him if that is the case we can go somewhere else. He was very rude. Andy, the manager, told us to come back this week to get a second key fob(only 1 was available), headrest for the third row seats (one headrest was missing), and the rims for the tires to be refurbished. Andy is sending someone to fix our rims and get the second key fob. As we were about to leave, Karen informed Andy that I needed another vehicle to drive since I did not have mine. They ended up finding the keys for our vehicle. Karen filled up the tank for our troubles with the financer and she thanked us for working with her. When we returned yesterday, she gave me my sunglasses that were left in the old vehicle and thanked us again for working with her. Overall, the experience with Karen was great. If it had not been for the financer, I would have given 5 stars. Karen definitely deserves 5 stars for her professionalism. She was patient and provided excellent customer service. We will give you an update once we get our new key fob, headrest and our rims refurbished. read more

Worst dealership I have ever done business with in my 60 years. They will cheat you at every turn. Sales manager Andy is the biggest lier. This dealership doesn't fulfill their promises, when they know there is a problem with car. Say they will fix but don't. Only reason I bought car was because Andy said he would fix car! read more

Don't reward this dealership with your business. They will get you to come to their dealership telling you one car is available, only to tell you when you arrive it's not. They will quote you a price, run your credit, and then tell you they can't honor the price they agreed upon. Very shady and unethical business practices. Lacks integrity. read more

Absolute chevy has poor customer service. We bought a truck from this place last year. Had to call back to get paperwork sent to state dmv to get the registration straight. Now a year later our registration is on hold by the state because they failed to send the paperwork. We called the sales manager 2 days ago. He said paperwork would be ready. Called yesterday to confirm left 4 messages and no one responded. Went there today and told my elderly mother who owns the vehicle she had to wait 2 hrs for the sales manager andy to show up at 11am to get the paperwork. read more

The manager Andy is the biggest POS on the planet. By far the worst place to buy a car and if you go there for service, BEWARE! They have purged all the professional help out and only have a skeleton crew that doesn't have a clue. God be with you if you have nowhere else to go. Better off going to Universal which is right up the road. Ill never be back to buy or service a car there again. read more

Do not trust these people, they will say one thing and do another. They promised to pay for a repair and then went back on their word. We even offered to pay half but they still refused. Stay away from these crooks! read more

We bought a Jeep grand Cherokee from Ms Karen today and it was the most pleasant car buying i have ever had ! She was very knowledgeable at her job. We were in and out in less then an hour and a half. She is very nice and puts you at ease. If you ask me Ms Karen is the BEST!!! read more

I got all my vehicles and service there for years. After today I will move to universal Chevrolet in Wendell NC. Prices at MZ got way out of hand. They just lost a loyal customer. read more

Management lied to me about a tax that was "going to be covered" by my doc fee, I'm out $390 paying that myself. They did not send me a license plate until I followed up a few times after 45+ days. Were not good to work with when i was trying to buy the car. Terrible experience. read more

JOHNNY IS A SWINDER that will steal the car right from under his coworkers. Jackie is personable. However GREG, kind & respectful, a real gentleman. If you go here buy your car from GREG. Saw the vehicle, called to express I am on the way (1hr drive) and was told by Jackie the vehicle would be ready. By the time I got there 2 EMPLOYEEs were getting into the car (WITH NO CUSTOMER) THEY TOOK the vehicle out for a drive. When Jackie goes to get the keys for our test drive she tells us the car has been sold. BUT THERE IT IS, STILL LISTED FOR SALE the next day. Watching the way this play was maneuvering, they have the black employees work with the black customers, the Spanish employee work with the Spanish customer and the white employees just walk around looking ignorant & disrespectful (BUT NOT GREG, HE IS AMAZING BUY YOUR CAR FROM GREG) read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!! If I could give them zero stars I would. I called Saturday evening to inquire about a car on the lot that I wanted to look at a car. Andy came in on his off day and I drove 3 hours to come to the dealership. During the negotiation process, my husband wasn't pleased about the cost of the car and we decided to leave. Andy became irate and upset and followed us out the dealership yelling and saying "you wasted my time and you're going to walk over $500?" At that point we were through. It doesn't matter how upset you get over a deal falling through you should NEVER yell at a customer especially being in a manager position. Not only was he disrespectful to me, but also my husband and young children who had to witness the whole situation. We couldn't get out of the parking lot fast enough!!!! He called my husband "a piece of shit". He wasted our time, gas and I do not appreciate the yelling in front of our children as well as the follow up irate text messages!!! As I said RUN from this dealership!!!! Find somewhere else to shop. read more

I purchased a used (Dodge Durango) vehicle today, May 1st 2024 from MZ Chevrolet in Zebulon. We worked closely with Taylor Mayo and the transaction went very well. It was important that we could find a vehicle to meet the needs for my wife, who has had back surgery recently. The trade in process worked well and the paperwork was completed very timely. We have purchased several vehicles from this Dealer! We drove the vehicle home this afternoon. Thanks Taylor Henry Casey read more

If you have major issues with your vehicle and need service take it to one of the bigger dealerships. I got a great deal on the vehicle and sales was a good experience. This service department may be ok for changing the oil but that's about it I'm thinking for their expertise. Small dealership = Small knowledge for service. IMO read more

I have to say this dealership by far is the worst I have ever been too. I have purchased 23 vehicles prior from dealerships, this would have been my 24th. I had started working a deal with Jerry the night before. That morning I received a message from Johnny and told him I would like to start working numbers and had already submitted the needed paperwork to do so. I said I was ready to purchase. Having lived about an hour and a half away I was told that would be no problem. As the day went on I had heard little to no communication from the dealership. When I woke up from my night shift I decided to follow up with still no updates. I decided to take a ride up to the dealership where prior to arrival I was told by Johnny that we were close and should have numbers any minute. When I arrived at the dealer I found the vehicle I was looking at pulled around front and when I walked in discovered another couple which I was told was interested in the vehicle and it was no longer available. I asked how this was possible considering I had already submitted everything and had been waiting all day to hear back after I was told the vehicle was available. I was never told this prior to driving up and only discovered this after a 90min drive to the dealership. They then stated, "Well nothing is final till the paperwork is done. At this point they moved the couple to an office and began bidding us against each other. Going between the both of us trying to offer payments and deals well above what we had discussed prior. After attempting running numbers a few different ways and giving me a interest rate 3 percent higher than what I purchased another 2 vehicles at less than 6months prior and only submitting to one bank they began telling me they needed money down to get a deal done. I asked what I need to put down to which Julian told me 20%. I continued to watch as we ran numbers as he went between me and the other couple. I refused to put nearly 20% down on a vehicle when my credit remained the same as prior deals, and I have never on another vehicle put down any money. When I mentioned I would not be putting cash down without even asking if I would take the vehicle at the current payment, he immediately walked to the other couple and had the salesman come tell me because I refused the vehicle was now sold. I have never been to a dealer with more rude people, less inviting and purely out for the bottom dollar and not for their customers to become repeat customers. I have never had a deal fall through when it was already being worked. I was also told I should have put a deposit on the car which I was never told prior. Then I said if I put the money down the vehicle wouldn't have been sold to which I was told that wasn't the case and they were in the showroom and I wasn't and had they sold the car prior to my arrival I would have lost my deposit. Again this is the shadiest, nastiest bunch of people I have ever dealt with, the atmosphere is pure sleezy in this dealership along with their business practices. If you know what is good for you then please go somewhere else and give someone else your hard earned money, this dealership and group of people surely don't deserve it. I will never be back!!!! read more

I've had nothing but excellent service from the Service Dept. I've had an issue with my new vehicle and all have been easy to deal with and understanding. I Think we finally have my vehicle straightened out. and I highly recommend. read more

Not only did these guys see us coming, they took us for literal fools. Our bad! Customer service was great but typical car "stealership". This review won't matter I'm sure, but nevertheless I'm leaving one. Pre approved with funding, we went in with a price in mind knowing we were overpaying by at least $3500-4k ...we were in a fix and NEEDED a vehicle after searching for 3 months, we found this one online and decided on a Friday afternoon to go check it out. After negotiating and agreeing on a price we proceeded with our pre approved lender and because it was not only late on a Friday , Monday was a Holiday and they couldn't close the deal until Tuesday. Again, typical dealership... the salesman said "I have 2 appointments tomorrow, for interested buyers on this vehicle" sigh... I know better, but I digress... next line... well we can't hold this vehicle without a NON-REFUNDABLE $1000 deposit...but if you'll let us help you we can get you financed and you can leave today with the vehicle. Fair enough... what a joke, we were told specifically they would not hit my husbands credit but at 2 of their lenders and even more specifically we were told they would not hit it at a certain lender and we requested that they didn't as well. Guess what we got just yesterday, a letter from that lender offering us alternative terms.. really? We were given an extremely good interest rate with our pre approved credit union, and then quoted from this dealership an interest rate that was higher but told us just refinance with your lender. Let me add this was a used vehicle and NOT a Chevrolet and 101k miles extremely clean and well taken care of. We never buy new ‍ with that said, we were assured the vehicle had been looked over by their mechanics and everything was in working order... our salesman told us that their vehicles were covered for 30 days and they didn't want a bad car attached to their name, they wouldn't let us drive a car off the lot that had known problems. Ok fair enough, once we go to sign paper not only is our interest NOT what we were told it's LITERALLY double of that from our pre approved lender! And warranty or guarantee? Yeah that only applied to vehicles under 100k miles. But... our salesman assured us we would be looked after if there were any issue. Ok, so we go against our better judgment given no option to have the vehicle looked over or much of anything. As of today Feb 1, 2023 we do not even have the financing paperwork or even an account number with GM financial, we haven't even made a payment. We have owned the car for 2 weeks and 5 days. We had to drive to Orlando Florida Jan 22, 2023 to move our son back to NC... we arrived back to NC on Jan 25th having owned the vehicle 11 days at this point!!!!!!!! And the service engine soon light comes on. I panic immediately and then go through solutions praying for the best. Not the gas cap and for the most part the vehicle seemed to be ok a little hesitancy when taking off. I think maybe it's the O2 sensors so we take it to our mechanic and the news the CATALYTIC CONVERTER!!! $1800 plus labor You have got to be kidding me! So, I call the dealership and tell them what happened and hoping they would at least offer some help and I forgot to mention the drivers side electric window motor is going to have to be replaced as well. I didn't even mention that... I know what an as is vehicle is, I get that but in short we were given empty promises, lie after lie and they made much more than they deserved. I get they have to make money I don't fault a dealership for that, but straight up lying and taking advantage of people I have zero tolerance for. So, lesson well learned! I'm a firm believer that we did everything right and we were the ones taken for goobers but I know in the end we will come out winners. I can only pray that the next unsuspecting customer can have a better experience. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. This was an expensive mistake and the funny part is they requested that we wait for 3 months to refinance so that GM doesn't "take it from them"!!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! This place has great reviews so as I stated earlier, this review prob won't even matter. This has been a terrible, stressful experience for us and I hate that people have no conscience but it is what it is. Just do your homework before you step inside and make sure you stand your ground. Someone will give do right by you but unfortunately these folks didn't with us. read more

You would do well to give these folks a shot if your looking for a vehicle. They are friendly and polite and offer the best service I've ever seen in my 40 years of buying vehicles. They sell solid used vehicles as well as new vehicles. Prices are competitive however remember service after the sale is the intregal part of any good dealer and these folks deliver. Bought my first vehicle from these folks about15 years ago and have bought three since then and have never been disappointed. Yes they are a smaller dealership but they are an outstanding one. In the market for a Chevy Cruze for a few months now. I have worked with several local dealerships. I drove 90 minutes to J&M when the dealer ACROSS from my house had basically the same car! But J&M was very responsive -without being pushy, extremely nice and friendly, and got me the deal I wanted on a car I absiolutely love! They worked with me in my preferred mode of communication and they did it quickly. I can't be on the phone with a person during work hours so I needed email or text and they readily answered that request. I can't say enough great things about Winston, Doug, and the ENTIRE team! As wonderful as they made the car buying experience, I may not wait so long before my next purchase. They ROCK! I highly recommend them! I even hugged my salesperson when I left it was such a great experience. That made me feel like an old friend. read more
