While we appreciate being refunded, the location was not able to offer us another truck, and we had to scramble to find another option. My car was…read moredropped off on a Sunday when they were not open, and as soon as they opened on monday, they called me to check in and get the situation. They told me they didn't sell tires at first, which I didn't know, but I told them they would hear from me with updates as the day progressed. When I called them to let them know when I would be coming, they said "see you soon", and greeted me warmly once they were done with something in the garage. They said they could take care of my car within the hour, and I was thrilled!! I didn't use my own car to get there, so I had to do some coordinating first, but as soon as I got back, the car was done within 10 minutes, I paid what I found to be a great price, and I was on my way. If not for the situation I was in, I would not have found them. I would definitely recommend! By the way, they have the coolest mural in the garage.

The shop owner claims I showed up before they finished working on the vehicle. This is not true…read morethey told me my car was ready and that it was just being taken on a test drive. I arrived at the shop 20-30 min after that phone call and found that the car would not start when I arrived. As mentioned previously the car was running and was driven to their shop and had to be towed out. The owner states they would like to handle this offline. As stated they will not return my calls and in the time it took to write that response he could have called me but did not. They did not charge me (I would hope not after damaging my car and performing unauthorized work) but it cost me $1200 to just to repair the damage they caused. The receipt is attached. I don't want anything from them at this point beyond admitting their mistakes and an apology for damaging my car and lying to me about it. But I know that's not going to happen so I just want to warn others to beware of this shop. Use their services at your own risk.

I saw some good reviews for this location, so I drove by on a Saturday right before they closed and chatted with the owner, Brian. He hopped in the car and drove 1 yard, immediately told me what he thought it was, and warned me to avoid driving the rest of the weekend as grinding the wheel in extreme heat was risky. He said to come back first thing Monday morning to get it lifted up and properly examined. Came back Monday and the team figured out I needed to replace the caliper and brakes. Price was fair and they said they could do it same day within 3 hours, so I let them work on it and had them do an oil change as well. I'm very grateful for Brian and his team, taking the time to explain what was actually needed and why, and not overselling me on additional services. I'm so glad I finally found a new trusted mechanic! Will definitely take my car to Brian and the team for all future maintenance services.

Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. Between school and the brisk air... but anyways, they've gotten a lot better about calling consistently (in my opinion), and I still appreciate those coupons.
