I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with Glass Guru of Johns Creek, owned by…read moreNicholas Wolter. Please send me any other suggestions. Our experience was defined by incompetence, poor communication, and a complete lack of professionalism from beginning to end. After waiting more than a month for replacement glass, the technician broke the replacement before it could even be installed. Mistakes happen, but what happened afterward is completely unacceptable. There was no apology, no accountability, no explanation, and no clear plan for fixing the problem. The technician simply left us without answers. Even more concerning, the technician entered my garage without notifying me or asking for permission. I had no idea someone was inside my garage. That is a serious safety issue and a blatant disregard for a homeowner's property. My dog was startled and reacted defensively, creating an unnecessary situation that could have easily ended much worse. When my wife called the office simply to get an update after we had been left without any information, she was told by franchise owner Nicholas Wolter that he didn't have a timeline and offered no accountability for the company's mishandling of the project or its lack of communication. Rather than trying to resolve the issue professionally, my wife experienced yelling and profanity during the conversation. She called me afterward nearly in tears because of how disrespected and frustrated she felt. No customer deserves to be treated that way for asking a reasonable question. By the time I spoke with Nicholas myself, it was clear that customer service and accountability were not priorities. Rather than taking responsibility for his company's mistakes or offering a meaningful solution, the conversation became defensive and confrontational. During the call, Nicholas acknowledged that he may have raised his voice because of trauma from his military service in Iraq. While I respect anyone who has served our country, that does not excuse yelling at or using profanity toward my wife. Every customer deserves to be treated with professionalism and respect, regardless of the circumstances. Our experience included: - Waiting over a month for replacement glass. - The replacement glass being broken before installation. - A technician entering our garage without permission or notice. - Being left without communication or updates. - No apology or accountability for the broken glass. - A franchise owner who failed to provide answers and, in our experience, communicated in an unprofessional manner during efforts to resolve the issue. I requested a full refund because I no longer had confidence in the company's professionalism or ability to complete the work. Based on my experience, Glass Guru of Johns Creek failed on all three.
