There was a question I had asked the lady behind the counter and she came out from behind the counter to help answer any questions I had and serve me. She was really awesome! They have a catering menu, a cafe for brunch, they have fresh breads available and they do specialty cakes. They are totally the real deal. AND they sell Neal Brothers' cheese puffs. Havent been able to find these bad boys anywhere. They discontinued them in grocery retailers and health food stores don't seem to carry them. I'm in Toronto and havent been able to find them for a couple of years. They are a pretty penny, yet worth it for the sheer pleasure. Their store front is spacious and inviting. We bought both and they were delicious. The chocolate chip cookie is amazing, super gooey with a pinch of salt on top. The sourdough was also really good and we just ate it plain because it was so tasty on its own! When we were talking to the people there, they told us they usually have tons of pastries but it always sells out by mid day because they only bake enough for the day everyday. So the next day, we went back. We got there at around 9:30-10am and there was an abundance to choose from! We got two boxes full of pastries and cookies and ended up with 4 loaves of sourdough to bring back to friends and family. Will definitely be visiting again!
