In fact I bent over backwards to avoid any contoversial subject. I was learning how to hand sew Revolutionary War reenacting garments and it is my opinion she resented this hobby. In addition, she would often make disparaging remarks to me in front of the class. I wrote a complaint letter to program director and never even received the courtesy of a response. Putting my interactions aside, the facility itself is completely run down. The bathrooms are disgusting, the hallways and offices have musty odors, there is no adequte air conditioning during the summer, the exterior grounds are a mess, and the building would likely fail a fire safety inspection. I have subsequently found several superior alternatives.

Most of the time the TV is off and the parents are checking their phones or reading. There's also a library where you can sit and wait - a quiet area unlike the front waiting area. My daughter comes here for private piano lessons and for chorus and the instructors are keen to the children. I see tons of kids coming in to learn to play guitar and violin. There's a parking lot and it's usually packed but I somehow always get a spot so I guess there's ample parking (with help from parents just dropping off their kids and not really staying so that opens up parking spots).

The class is so fun and the songs so catchy. Each semester includes a new CD with songs from class and we listen to them at home all the time. I REALLY appreciate that they aren't your typical cliche kid songs, they are cool enough that I find myself humming them all the time. It has been wonderful to watch him gain love and appreciation for music and instruments. He went through a drumming phase and requested a guitar for his 3rd birthday. The hardest part is picking your colors! Recently I came here for a candle making and wood workshop. Because the class was large, the staff did most of the work. If you're looking to do microblading, look no further! I spent a few months researching…read moremicroblading places but always found a flaw in them. I needed someone I could trust 100% with my eyebrows. I never got that feeling with places. I stumbled upon Glam Brows on Yelp. I read a few reviews, checked out their website & followed them on Instagram. I followed Patti's work for about a month on Instagram. I knew her style was what I was looking for. I wanted a natural look and not something that looked like I just filled my eyebrows in. I knew I wanted to do microblading but was still scared. I saw online Glam Brows was running a promotion so I decided to sign up. Patti contacted me immediately to set up a time to talk. When we spoke on the phone I knew right away I could trust her and would choose her to do my eyebrows. She's sweet, informative & really listens to you. She explained the whole process on the phone and answered any in initial questions I had. I told her I would feel more comfortable if we set up a consultation, which she said she recommends to everyone. I brought my mom along with me for my consultation because she was skeptical about the microblading process. Patti answered all of our questions, explained the entire process and did not glamorize it at all. I love her because she's completely honest and up front with you. She isn't just going to tell you what you want to hear. After leaving the consultation, even my mom loved her! She knew she was someone we could trust and would make my eyebrows look the way I wanted. You shouldn't chose a place because it's"cheap or it's the first place you find. You should do your research and should feel 100% comfortable with your esthetician. Fast forward to the day I got the microblading. I was anxious and nervous and although I knew I 100% wanted to do this, it was scary! I was mostly nervous about the pain. I don't have a high pain tolerance and I wasn't excited to lay there for 2 hours. Patti kept reassuring me it was going to be fine and the pain was minimal. She kept asking if I was okay and told me we could take a break whenever I needed to. I also love how detail oriented she is and how clean her space is. You can tell she takes her work seriously and she's there for YOU. She doesn't answer phone calls in between the tattooing. Your time with her is strictly for you. I am now at 2 weeks post touch-up. Let me just say, FOLLOW HER INSTRUCTIONS. There is a list of pre and post instructions. Follow them. You won't regret it. I followed them to a T and she said my eyebrows healed amazing - it was one of the best she's seen. My eyebrows are still healing so they're a bit patchy. But I am over the moon happy with the outcome. I wake up in the morning with perfect eyebrows. They look so natural that no one can tell they're microbladed. I can't recommend Patti & Glam Brows enough. If you're still skeptical, just give her a call or set up a consultation. I can assure you after meeting her you'll love her as much as I do!
