Since she is a new patient, she is not yet set up in the patient portal, so she has had to call the office to schedule her appointment. She has tried every day for the past week to reach someone. She has spent long periods of time on hold and even requested a callback when prompted by the recording, but no one ever called her back. As I write this review, I have personally been on hold for over two hours. The recording originally stated that the estimated wait time was approximately 60 minutes. I completely understand that the office may be extremely busy, but waiting more than two hours and not receiving a promised callback is extremely frustrating and, in my opinion, unacceptable. I want to be clear that this review is not a reflection of the providers. My husband has been a patient here for many years and has seen both a provider and PA, and we have always been very happy with their care. They have been wonderful, professional, and caring. My concern is specifically with the customer service representatives, scheduling process, callback system, and excessive hold times. I hope the office will take this feedback seriously and address these issues so patients can actually reach someone when they need to schedule care. For that reason, I am giving 1 star for the scheduling/customer service experience, not for the quality of the providers.

No place is perfect & this is still a govt organization. But much less exasperating than dealing with civilian providers and all the hoops insurance companies make you jump thru for speciality care. Sadly given the shortage of providers in New Mexico availability of some speciality care means increased waiting time.
