The Rescue Mission & Results: I usually have thicker brows, but after my DIY disaster, they were completely uneven. Thankfully, there was no wait when I walked in. The threader was an absolute lifesaver. She patiently worked her magic, shaped them up perfectly, and somehow made them look completely even and normal again. They went from looking like a Neanderthal to looking absolutely lovely. Value & Efficiency: I've been here a few times before, and they always do a fantastic job. This visit was quick it took maybe 5 to 10 minutes tops, and it only cost $12! The value here is unbeatable for the quality of work they do. However they do have private rooms if needed for your service. $11 for armpits and $30 for half legs. Often times when I visit there's a line of 21 people, but it goes by so fast. Usually you put your name on the list and then wait for the service. If there is a long wait, then sometimes I will go and have Korean or Afghanistan or Mexican food in the same shopping center or walk across the street to Milkroll for ice cream. Very convenient, fast process/service and this location has been here over 10 years but run by Nirmala for 7 years since 2019. I responded to an advertisement from Laguna Med Spa for a HIFU treatment that was advertised for $59. After my appointment, the manager strongly pressured me to purchase additional treatment packages that I repeatedly said I wasn't interested in. Eventually, she lowered the price and encouraged me to apply for a CareCredit account. I was told that if I was not approved by their Good Faith Exam nurse because of medical concerns, I would not be charged. Based on that assurance, I agreed to proceed. However, my CareCredit account was immediately charged $2,500. The very next day, I had a video consultation with their Good Faith Exam nurse, who determined that I was not a candidate for the treatment because I had high-risk medical factors. Despite being denied for the procedure, the $2,500 charge remained on my CareCredit account. I contacted Laguna Med Spa multiple times over the following months, but my calls and requests were ignored. I even returned to the office in person and asked to speak with the manager, who refused to meet with me. Cindy told me to continue making my monthly CareCredit payments and promised she would resolve the issue. I trusted her, but now, four months later, I still have not received my refund. My calls are no longer returned, and the charge remains on my account. Based on my personal experience, I believe the company made promises that were not honored and provided very poor customer service after the sale. I encourage anyone considering doing business with Laguna Med Spa to be extremely careful, ask for everything in writing, and fully understand any financing agreement before signing.

I also expressed my sensitive skin worries, before the service and she acknowledged that, but still used the wax anyways. The skin above and below my eyes was red and peeling for two days after the service. When I asked about it, all I was told was to put Benadryl on my skin. Cortisone near one's eyes is not a great idea from a medical standpoint. It was too late to stop her as I didn't know what she was doing til she pulled the wax linen strip off. I thought she was still using the template when she was touching my face. I also had to ask for the color fill although it was included in the price. $55 is very high for the factory like service I received. I felt as though my service was not individualized and everyone going to Shante gets the same exact procedure no matter what you pay for. The only reason, this was not one star, was because it was very easy to book on the website. Other than that, there is no positives with booking at this beauty Lounge. Many places do a much better job, and cost 20 to 30% less. I definitely will not be back.
