Sign on door reads: OPEN TO THE PUBLIC unless closed for a Private Showing but there was no one inside and it was dark aside from a few chandeliers still on. It also says CALL AHEAD for a seamless visit. Not sure what that means BUT you won't know to call ahead if you've never been here before! Finding that out after already driving to the location is triggering to say the least! I find this very unprofessional for a business to have hours listed that don't hold true.

Well guess what - it didn't even come close because using a water based polyurethane will only give you a natural color not the darker finish I had. They had no idea of this and were trying to put a stain on my floor to match the rest of the floor. Now as a Bona Certified Craftsman that has been in business for 12 years you would expect him to be educated in what he does but they were clueless. He told us the job would take 3 days but they were done in 7 hours because water based can be reapplied in 2 hours versus oil based that has to dry overnight. He stole our $1,000. deposit justifying it that he sanded the floor. He claims he wasted product but how is that our fault if he doesn't know what he is doing!

The real testament was my very picky son. He was speechless! He could not believe how beautiful they looked. It has now been three days since he saw them and that is all he can talk about. I highly recommend this company. Doris, the manager, and Raul, the owner, were a pleasure to work with and their staff are excellent. You will be VERY happy!

This is my 2nd review of Flooring King. Unfortunately, the floors that were originally installed in…read more2020 were ruined by a leak that went through our house. Not all the areas were bad, but we decided to replace all the flooring to avoid the possibility of mold forming. After remediation was done to dry the walls, we coordinated with Alex to pick out the floors. Communication throughout was great and pricing was more than reaaonable. This install was exceptional. Our quote included moving furniture, removing baseboards and flooring and replacing with new, and hauling the removed flooring to the dump. They took their time to make it right, but they worked quickly and even navaigated through some rain that came through. We had an area in our kitchen where the concrete subfloor was raised, and instead of installing the flooring over that area for a surprise broken board later, they showed us the problem and my husband grinded down that area flat. They came back the next day to finish the floors. I will always respect integrity and honesty in any company we hire! If you read reviews about floors cracking or having issues, it is very likely the subfloor had poor prep or a poor surface, so keep that in mind. I do not believe that Flooring King handles floor prep, so if you have a bad subfloor, and don't get it fixed prior to install, you will very likely run into problems as these are floating floors and are only as good as the surface they're laid on. We were very satisfied with the install, the installers, the pricing and Flooring King. They helped to make a stressful situation more manageable!
