Greg, the President of the company gave at least 150 percent to our project. He was not only on-site for the rebuild but was on our roof supervising every aspect of the construction as well as working himself to insure everything was done expertly. He kept us posted on every aspect of the project, to include cost, schedule, expectations, etc. While our roof was under tarp, Greg came out to the house every morning to inspect the tarp to ensure it was secure. We never gave the safety of our home a second thought. We knew we were in good hands with this company. I would have given 10 stars if they were available.

I would highly recommend Oli's Home Improvement. We were looking to have French doors installed in…read moreour office and hired Oli and his team for the project. They helped us find a beautifully designed door, even though we needed a non-standard size for half the cost compared to other contractors. When it came time for installation, Monique and Oli did an outstanding job. They kept noise and dust to a minimum and professionally worked through the install.  The finished doors look amazing, and the quality of their workmanship exceeded our expectations. What impressed us even more was their dedication--they completed the project on a Sunday and finished up over a holiday. We also asked them to replace a few chipped floor tiles, and as soon as they had an opening in their schedule, they came back and completed the work quickly and flawlessly. The entire experience was professional, efficient, and stress-free. We are extremely pleased with the results and will definitely use Oli's Home Improvement again for future home projects.

TL/DR: Most professional contractor I've ever worked with…read more All the details: I've recently purchased a second home in Mount Dora, and got a terrible shock when my insurance agent called and informed me that the insurance inspector & underwriter determined that lattice around the crawlspace was not acceptable, and that I had 3 weeks to enclose with brick, stone, or hardiboard or they were going to cancel my insurance. Mint Construction had completely renovated the house prior to my purchasing it, and it is a showpiece! Since I was so happy with the quality of the renovation, I spoke with Jim Malak, and asked him to provide me an estimate for the required work. He asked some follow up questions, such as what exactly the insurance company required, and could he get a copy of the inspection report because he didn't understand why this was required - after all, the house met all building codes, including Florida windstorm requirements. Here's where the amazing customer service shines through: Mr. Malak then called the insurance company to plead my case - it didn't make any sense as to why the work was required. Then, he offered a potential alternative to try to save me money, but the underwriters wouldn't accept that either. When have you EVER had a contractor take that kind of effort on your behalf? But it gets better: work was completed quickly, and well. And then he notified the insurance agent that the work was completed so that they could take their pictures & document that the required work had been done. I knew the quality of work before I hired Mint Construction; but the customer service is just hands down amazing.

My kitchen remodel project was fast, efficient, and accurate. We are so happy with it. His organizational skills and ability to lead the job with professionalism and expertise are second to none. He made sure to keep in touch with us and give us information every step of the way. The various contractors and DA employees we dealt with were all professional and friendly. One of the standouts was Ray who did our tile, backsplash, and various other jobs with the project. He always started the day with a smile and was friendly and approachable 100% of the time. I'd like to thank David, Ray, and the rest of DA Construction for a wonderful construction experience.

There are just no words to express the absolute awesomeness that is Oscar and his crew. My partner…read moreand I were looking for a one-stop shop contractor. We interviewed many. Oscar stood out as the most compassionate, the most open to listening, and the most patient. Oscar gave us a full, detailed quote for our project. Laid everything out infront of us so there were no surprises. We wanted to ensure that there was just one person to talk to about this job and that they would do what needed to be done. Oscar was that person. The job came in right on time and under budget. Nothing was done without Oscar checking in with us. Everything that needed a decision would be on hold until Oscar got a thumbs up or down from us. People come to our home now in awe of the difference. We get asked how our experience was with the contractor because people we know who had negative experiences with their contractors wanted to see if we had the same experience. When we tell them not one hiccup, not one issue, they are shocked and amazed. This man is legit. We stand by him and his work 100%, and we are eternally grateful for his professionalism, suggestions, and time to get this project done. Thank you, Oscar and OHS Constructions. Aaron and Joaquin

The trees and shrubs were removed, but they then refused to remove the gravel stating "I can't do that for this price". He also wasn't able to complete the irrigation job as promised. They also broke one of my chairs on my patio and broke my mailbox without notifying me they had done so. Couple all of this with what may be the worst communication I've ever dealt with, and I wouldn't hire them to build a dog house. I regret hiring them and I further regret not making sure all of this was in writing. Learn from my mistakes and steer clear from this company.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I managed huge apartment communities for 30 years…read moreand been the project manager on millions of dollars in renovation and maintenance projects. Eddie is a great talker and tells you he can do everything and really lets you believe he can be trusted. I had a full rehab for my house including painting, new flooring, new vanities, all new light fixtures, basically total overhaul. The original bid was $23,900. I have pets so I specifically told Eddie I would be moving into an Airbnb so he could get the house done without having to work around me and I did not want my pets stressed by all the noise and activity. He agreed that the job would be done in 4 weeks. During this time, he decided to accept a bathroom remodel in my neighbors house at the same time. He only works from about 9am to 4pm with a lunch break. He was 2 weeks past the deadline and still was not finished!! He submitted receipts from the hardware store for me to pay that were parts he bought for my neighbors job! He has now charged me over $34,000 for my job that was supposed to cost $24,944. That is a 30% mark up!! The work site was an absolute disaster, they left my house in terrible shape. They sprayed my floors with glue remover and did not protect my furniture (he promised all furniture would be protected and covered) which has now eaten the stain off several pieces of my antique furniture. He took all my books and piled them on my mattress and did not cover my mattress so not only was it exposed to toxic chemicals from the glue remover he used, the mattress was filthy because he never covered it even though he promised he would. He did not wire my ceiling fans correctly so I had to pay an electrician to come and re-wire them. Ge burnt out 1 ceiling fan with his bad wiring and the electrician said it needs to be replaced. He also left screws loose on the bedroom fans so they would eventually fall from the ceiling. He stored all his tools in my garage and left such a mess, I tripped over his cords and hurt myself pretty badly. Even once I moved back in, everyday they would throw trash on the floors inside the house and then leave. Every night I would have to go around cleaning up all their trash. He bills you for items that are not complete and then expects payment even though items are not completed. I bought all the materials and because he was so disorganized, he lost several parts that I had to re- purchase. I have never seen such a messy, disorganized job site in my 30 years of property management where I worked with hundreds of contractors over the years. I could keep going, but I am sure you get the point t. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, WORST DECISION EVER! Total incompetent and can't complete job on time because they only work about 5 to 6 hours a day.
