Dale started by prompting me to think broadly about my goals in life, where I am, where I see myself going, and how I'm going to get there. By talking on a regular schedule, Dale has helped me create accountability structures that work for me, while also checking in to see if my day-to-day routines, including rewarding myself for accomplishments, are working and what I can improve. Knowing I will be talking to Dale nudges me to meet the goals I set for myself, and when I miss them, his approach is constructive and forward looking. I worked with Advanced Accounting and Tax Solutions for nearly four years in formlong my LLC,…read morefiling both my personal and business taxes, and handling payroll. For tax year 2025, all documents were submitted and a written agreement was signed for this firm in February to complete my taxes. Tax day passed and there was zero communication on the status of my taxes. Calls, texts and emails were ignored or pushed aside before this firm stopped responding altogether. I had to contact the IRS to confirm that this firm failed to file my taxes. To this day no apology or explanation has been given. Do not trust this business to handle your taxes.

If I could give zero stars I would. I used this company from 2018-2025 for my small business. I…read moreassumed a company of CPAs would know how to do taxes, however I was incorrect. I questioned them for years on the inventory issues and finally fired them a year ago when they suggested I use someone else's sales tax ID to order wholesale items for my business. I had an independent accountant review my taxes and it turns out that they had in fact counted my inventory correctly every year and in 2021 alone I am due an amended return of $22,000 minus a $12,000 disallowance from the IRS. We still have to do 2022-2023 amended returns. This company has put me at risk of having to file for personal and professional bankruptcy and losing my health insurance as a disabled person. I cannot express how horrifying this experience has been and how they have screwed up my life and finances for the foreseeable future. Avoid at all costs If you are a current small business client with inventory products AND material components, get a second opinion, because they may have screwed you over too.

I will not work with these people again.

Would not recommend after meeting with Tara M. For my 2023…read moretax return Rose was great to work with, where she explained things in detail. Value was comparable to other accountants. Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.
