I was very pleased with his communication and thoroughness as we made arrangements for promotion, marketing, payment, and logistics. On the day of the event, I met with him and his helper and everything fell into place. Part of the arrangement we had for using the space was that I could be a participant in the event. This was absolutely my good fortune. Kyle is a soft-spoken communicator, but was completely able to keep the attention and engagement of the 16 participants. More importantly, he has a tremendous ability to help people move past some of their blocks, particularly guilt and shame, so they can really get in touch with themselves. And that is perhaps the most important part of dealing with intimacy in interpersonal communication. I've participated in numerous tantra, intimacy, and sex-positive events, including week-long retreats. Kyle's is easily among the best, particularly among shorter sessions. I found myself learning, getting in touch with some of my own stuff, and finding myself aroused, stimulated, and engaged. There are retro relics and amazing antiques throughout the building, with a couple cozy nooks for readings and such. The rear opens up onto a nice outdoor courtyard and I'm anxious to see what happens there. The grand opening was nice with snacks and beverages as well as live music. Lor was happy to give everyone a tour of the space and to go over the services she offers. I'm forgetting a few but these are some of the readings...coffee cup, palm and runes. She also does guidance consults and sells various floral "wands" that she enchants. I got the Sage Wand, enchanted for "light", meant to drive out darkness. They come with instructions on how to properly use them. Mystic Lor clearly loves what she does and is proud of her new shop and the services she offers. She begins each session with a conversation so that she can truly meet you where you are and provide a wholistic approach to what you need to heal. Whether that is an emotional or physical release, a deepened connection with source, an energetic balancing or cleansing, or so on. Every session is unique to where I am at in my physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual bodies. She always seems to know what is wrong before I open my mouth, but she always holds space for me within her loving glow. Emily has an incredible way of making you feel instantly comfortable, even the most advanced of wall builders, like myself. I have broken down into tears before getting on the table, had massive physical releases, and healed in ways I thought weren't possible. She has guided me through deep emotional trauma as well as physical trauma (I had abdominal surgery to remove 15 tumors in 2016). I will say it's not all glitter and romance, there are often hard lessons to be learned and dealt with, and they can be difficult (but always necessary) and she guides you through it with light and love. I could go on and on, but really my words will mean nothing. What Emily offers is intuitive and experiential. Everyone's session is powerful, uniquely their own, and always far beyond what they expected. She is a true facilitator for your healing journey and I am blessed to have her in my life. Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.
