Enter Morris. He takes care of the things that send me into a tizzy - sales, expenses, taxes (note: he's not a CPA; I have someone else for that who works seamlessly with Morris). He is reliable, thorough, responsive, patient, organized, personable, and more useful than just balancing the books. He loves working with small businesses and he actually spends time helping you organize your numbers, process, and thoughts (his company can also help you with business plans). He charges monthly, not hourly, so I always feel like I can call or email him without racking up a bill. I am one of his smallest clients (he is the CFO for Metropolitan Bakery, among others) and feel like I get fantastic customer service. Basically, I just really, really trust him and that's after going through 4 CPAs, 1 financial advisor, and 2 bookkeepers in the last 5 years. When you're having someone deal with something as personal as your very own business, you understand how important it is to truly trust the guy who manages the numbers. I almost hesitate to write this review because I don't want to share his time with others but such service deserves as much business as it can get, especially because I know he wouldn't take on business that would hurt his current clients. Call him.

Her expertise in all aspects of resume writing and preparing cover / thank you letters is unsurpassed. Would not recommend after meeting with Tara M. For my 2023…read moretax return Rose was great to work with, where she explained things in detail. Value was comparable to other accountants. Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.

I am SOOO lucky I got in touch with Jobspring. I worked with Natalia, Christian, Christian (yeah),…read moreand Hoshi. From the get-go, they were super professional. You're asked to come into the office early on in the process to meet with various recruiters so they can learn more about your skills and what you're looking for. At first it seems overkill, since most other recruiters take a 10-20 minute phone call to do your screening. However, I believe it paid off to have the face-to-face screening. From here moving forward - I worked mostly with Natalia (she placed me at my current job) and Hoshi (who worked with me on an interview that didn't result in me getting the job). Both recruiters worked hard to get me interviews and kept me informed as to where I was in the process, which I appreciated greatly. Natalia and Hoshi recognized my skillset and saw which jobs would be great matches for me. They're pros, they know what to look for and go with their knowledge. Natalia worked with me to get me my current job. She pushed me out of my comfort zone, even though I hesitated a few times. Long story short, she really knew what would be best, and helped get me a great job at a great salary. I highly recommend working with Jobspring when you're looking for your next job.

Definitely not a good sign. My husband is self employed and contacted Ms. Sam to help with our business and personal tax preparations. Ms. Sam was responsive to us initially, and as time passed we have yet to hear back from her. We have real concerns with this company and started calling and leaving her messages along with emails to find out where we were at with our taxes. In the beginning we gave Ms. Sam the benefit of the doubt because it was tax season, and one would only assume that any accountant worth their salt would be extremely busy at this tme of the year, right?! Our patience began waring, and as time has passed (Months) we continue to call and leave messages asking her to please contact us. It has been months since our last conversation with Ms. Sam, thus leaving us in a precarious situation with our tax filing. She has all of our financial information which is not cool at all and leaves me contemplating our next step ... This has been the worst experience with someone who has just completely ghosted us for no apparent reason whatsoever ?! Not to mention, her unprofessionalism at it's worst when her business success solely relies on satisfied paying customers, not to mention her reputation as well! If anyone out there has had a similar situation with Ms. Sam, or if someone has retained her services very recently or even knows how to reach her ... please post it. As I review the five other posted comments and see the dates of review ... I have only myself to blame. Lesson learned!
