I have nothing but good things to say about Health Grad Advantage - with Mat's help in ironing out…read moremy personal statement, I'm elated to have been accepted to multiple PA programs! First off, Mat's responsiveness and attentiveness to me as a client blew me away. After I was referred to Mat, I subsequently sent a draft of my PS and expected to wait about a week to hear back. But Mat provided feedback in less than 24 hours! It's clear that Mat tailors his approach to each client, as we then spent several hours over ad hoc video calls/phone calls addressing his specific feedback multiple times. This level of attention to me as a client, much less an anxious grad school applicant, put me at ease and really made me believe that my goal would be possible with Mat's help. Secondly, Mat has a great wealth of knowledge of the level of detail/types of experiences that admissions committees look for, despite the field. I applied to PA school - while Mat is a DPT by training, he was really able to help me hone my experiences in my PS to what was relevant, solid, and would optimize my chances. My issue in writing my PS was trying to include/do too much in too little space. Speaking with Mat, I picked his brain about the level of detail to go into, and bounced countless ideas off of him to craft the story I felt best about. I highly highly recommend Mat and his team of consultants at Health Grad Advantage. Right off the bat, you will feel cared for, listened to, and in great hands. With HGA's help, your goal (like mine) for grad school is within grasp!

His expertise especially in the field of physical therapy has helped me address specific points and real examples that were actually asked during the interview. Through his one-on-one Skype sessions, Matt was able to address my concerns, and find my strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly reassure my abilities. Like everyone says, graduate school applications can be one of the most stressful moments in your life, but I was glad to have Matt help me gain my confidence as a future student and current applicant to physical therapy school. Thanks Matt!

My most recent connection with Keagan, Account Exec., has been such a pleasure. She actually reached out to me regarding a position at just the right time. They moved fast, they are transparent with information, and you can trust them. I read a few reviews were people had talked about their testing methods and paperwork being dated. Their agency is a bit old school when it comes to some of the testing methods and paperwork however, it's a formula that's worked for them for decades and they've placed in several positions with top notch organizations so I have nothing but good things to say about them! They're honest, trustworthy and transparent, they will work hard for you, and they have connections to companies it is very hard to get into. It was through Bettinger that I was placed in a temporary role at one of the leading medical facilities in Philadelphia and was brought on as a permanent employee two months after being there! Completely unnecessary and unacceptable behavior. Bad customer service. I submitted a resume and was asked to call back for a phone conversation to start the process. I was matched with Sheldon. When we were beginning the registration process, he realized I was already on file and his attitude completely changed and he became very rude. He informed me that I had been asked to do a video interview with him two and a half years ago and I logged on and out and didn't respond to his voicemail asking what happened. He was confrontational about this and asked me if I remembered this. I apologized and said I didn't (it's been 2.5 years) and told him it had probably just been a connection issue. He rudely said "well what can I do for you now?" as if he's been holding this grudge. Maybe he just had a bad day, but it felt very unprofessional and he ended the call with this tone that felt like he wasn't going to assist me because of this, which is unfair. Being the professional I am, I sent an apologetic email about not following up 2.5 years ago. Then I went through my texts with him and saw that I had actually followed up about the technical difficulties and had asked to reschedule, and he never responded back to me. Even if I hadn't, it would have still been incredibly unprofessional for him to talk to me like that. I'm sure having people not follow up is frustrating, but it's recruiting. It's part of the industry. And it definitely does not mean that you get to talk down to people because of it, especially if years have passed. And I was communicative both 2.5 years ago and today. They are an agency that doesn't respond to emails and doesn't respond to their own sms messaging system even if they contact you in that way first. Looking for employment can be frustrating but being demeaned (especially for something you didn't even do) is not something anyone should have to deal with. I would not recommend this place. They need to learn better communication and customer service.

I called back to let her know I actually needed more and/or ask for a recommendation to a different service if they weren't the right fit and she cut me off again saying something I couldn't hear and hung up on me again. Considering the level of service they advertise, this was a bit shocking... with that being said, I can't recall being treated this poorly by any level of service provider.
