This company is unbelievable, rude, and embarrassing. I hired them to do an estimate on my roof after a storm resulted in damage. I was concerned that the roof would leak so I called and the lady on the phone said, there's nothing we can do about that unless you want to go up on the roof yourself to patch it.., mind you I have a 3 story house. After that, they came out and did an estimate about a week later. Crickets.... nothing for 2 weeks until someone from the company came out again to look at the house.. he didn't go on the roof, no drone, nothing.. but left within a minute and said, I have everything I need and said I'd have an estimate that day. I asked about when I can expect the work done... he said next week. I called and called, got answers like the manager isn't in.. then they stopped answering my phone calls, they just rang and rang so my husband called with his cell phone they picked up on the 1st ring said the manager is out of town and we should expect a call late in the week.., crickets.. phones not being answered.. another 2 weeks went by and my husband got through again. This time he was told that all the guys that work for Able were told to clear their schedules to help a relative clean out a house. Crickets AGAIN. We have heard nothing and they're still not answering their phones. It's been over TWO MONTHS and I haven't even gotten an estimate. Do NOT use this company... thankfully our roof has now been repaired by a reliable company (and had it done within a week of the estimate). F Able roofing!! read more

Hoping to resolve a warranty issue but have not received any return calls. They helped me obtain new shingles from manufacturer but now I cannot get them to call me back regarding labor warranty. read more

I have never been impressed as much as I have in dealing with Able Roofing &siding! Words cannot describe how thankful I am to have reached out and chatted with both the young lady in the office and the owner Mark. They definitely got me pointed in the right direction and I look forward to dealing with them again and again! If you are searching for a roofing contractor? Look no further, just give them a call. read more

I do not have firsthand experience of the quality of Able's work. I do, however, have firsthand experience on the lowlifes that this company employs. Able was putting the roof on the house that was being built next door to me one summer, and my dog kept going crazy. Finally, I went to see what the dog was upset about. Able's employees were getting water from my spigot. I asked the guys what they were doing, and one of them got all sarcastic and nasty with me, CONTINUED TO GET WATER AFTER i TOLD HIM TO STOP, then walked back over to the roofing project. I made sure they heard not to come back onto my property. Now, normally, I would not object to giving some workers water in the heat of July-if they ask permission. But when they come into my yard with an entitled attitude and get rude, well then I have to say that they can go to Wawa if they need water. Later that afternoon, they were getting water again. I told them I was calling the police. I did not call the police, but I did call Able's office. The lady who answered the phone also had an attitude, and said "well where are they supposed to get water then?" That, my dear, is not my problem. Then my husband called and spoke with the owner. The owner was actually very apologetic. At the end of the day, I was in the yard walking my dog when they were leaving. They screeched the tires of the truck, were blowing the horn and yelling obscenities at me and flipping me off. Fast forward a few years. In March, a hail storm hit and pretty much all of my development had to get new roofs. Guess what story got ressurected and guess who did not do any roofs? You got it-Able! I hope the owner reads this and realizes that his scumbag employees and his inability to reign their behavior in has cost him money out of his pocket. read more

Able did 4 roofs for me. When I had a final smaller job they had quoted, I had to call 12 times over a one year period and they never got to it. Now I have a leak in one of the roofs and have called 3 times over the past 3 months to try to get someone to look at that. They said they would but have not. This company has zero integrity. read more

I have used this company in the past with average results. Had them do a repair last spring and it was done poorly and didn't resolve issues. Made multiple calls to get them back out and they didn't respond. Ended up going with a different company and they find poor workmanship with what Able did previously. read more

Let me start from the beginning....We had roof damage to our main house roof from a storm on Saturday 2/25/17 - shingles all over the street, what a mess! I contacted my insurance company (Erie) first thing Monday morning and put a claim in....I called ABLE roofing shortly after contacting the insurance company. ABLE sent someone out that same day to inspect the roof and get me an estimate to repair/replace as needed. I had the estimate in hand by the end of Monday so I could submit to the insurance adjuster immediately. I got the OK to proceed and replace the from from the insurance company at the end of Monday. I called ABLE Monday evening and they scheduled to come out and replace my roof the NEXT DAY!!! By the end of the day Tuesday the new roof was installed and all the mess was cleaned up -- that's right, in a matter of 2 days I had a pretty new roof!!! I can't thank ABLE enough for the outstanding service & commitment to their customers! I spoke with Melanie & Mark in the office and they were both so amazing & helpful (fully explained the entire process and were more than welcome to work with me and my insurance company). The roofers that came to install the new roof were very nice as well, and you can tell they take pride in their work! At the end of the job they swept up my sidewalks and collected any debris from the street too! I would highly recommend ABLE roofing to all of my friends & family! Thank you to the entire ABLE roofing staff!!! read more

This company is a joke. Melanie in the office give 2 sh*ts about the customers. An hour after the 4 hr time window I was given I called to find out why no one showed up. Was told there were emergencies that had to be taken care of and that they may not even get to me today. Wouldn't a courtesy call be nice to tell the scheduled customer this. If water pouring down my wall from the roof when it rains is not considered an emergency I don't know what is. Very disappointed with this company. read more

Had a roof put on about 10 years ago and had a skylight replaced. Skylight has leaked from day one despite follow up visit. Interior finish work on sky light never finished, allegedly finish person was out sick. Never resolved despite repeated calls. Save yourself unneeded aggravation and find ANYONE else for your roofing needs. These guys don't deserve your time let alone your business. read more

Don't waste your time with this company. Had a new roof put on a few years ago, first time it rained, it leaked. I called, the second time it rained, it leaked again. This time I called a different company. So here we are five years later and the roofing is leaking at a different location. I called Able, they sent a man out, never called to say he was coming. He spend all of fifteen minutes and they charged me $185. Guess what, it still leaks. I called numerous times and they NEVER return a call. Check the yellow pages for a roofer, but pass this one by. read more

Previous owner had Able put new roof on (insurance claim for leak). Now. Just under 5 years, roof is leaking in same spot. Able wants $185 to give an estimate for their terrible roofing job. The warranty on their labor is only 2 years. Stay away from Able. There are much better roofing companies out there who do much better work and provide better guarantees and service. read more

Have had the same problems with Able Roofing. They installed a roof about 10 years ago told us it was a 25 year warranty roof. When we had problems with the roof they sent a guy out to take a look. He went up and looked at the roof and told me that the shingles were defective and that he would have to give the Certaineed Company Representative a call to come out and look at the roof/shingles. We never heard from them again! We have called numerous times both myself and my brother, they refuse to take our calls and never call us back when we have left numerous messages with the secretary, Melanie. George is the owner and Mark is his son, they are never in to take a call! We paid extra money to get the best roof, or so we were told. They are liars and crooks! Don't hire them you will be sorry like everyone else on this site! read more

I called Able Roofing for a roofing estimate. A gentleman came out, took some measurements of my roof, and gave me a competitive price with NO pressure. I decided to hire them. Installation day came. The entire process was amazing. I woke up with an old roof and by dinner time I had a beautiful new roof with no evidence of having a major home improvement project done. The entire crew worked as a team. The staff were very helpful with explaining everything to me. I highly recommend! read more

If I could give a no star I would always had them do all my work they put a new roof on my sun room and also on my house I had nothing but problems with my sky lights leaking call them many times to repair them and every.time it rains THERE. If you like a company that lies to you then this is the company for you. If you like a company that says they are going to call you back and NEVER does then Able Roofing and Siding is for you. If you like a company that tells you they will be out on a specific date and they NEVER show up nor call then this is the company for you. I have never experienced a business with such horrendous customer service. Believe me they are not "able" as their name implies! Do yourself a favor and save yourself a bunch of aggravation...CALL SOMEONE ELSE! read more

Able just placed a new roof, new windows and patio sliding door to my home. They came when they said they would and did an awesome job. I have sent many customers to Able and they have all been satisfied with their service. They are people who I trust and would recommend them to anyone who needs work done to their house. The one thing that I would say that I love about this company is that they give back to their community. Just last month I saw that they donated 2 windows to someone who asked for donations for a breast cancer fundraiser. This was over a 1,000 value with work included. I like dealing with companies who give to charities and give back to their community. Thank you again!!! read more

Thank you Able Roofing and Siding in Allentown. My experience was great from my initial phone call speaking with Melanie to the completion of my new roof and gutters yesterday. Val came to look at my roof -yes he actually went up in the roof- and Able was the only company to do so. Unlike the other estimators who just looked at the roof from the street and gave me higher estimates, he said that I did have another 2 yrs minimum and if I wanted to wait I shouldn't have a problem. I compared the materials included in the estimate and the warranties. Same materials as the two others with a better warranty. $550 less than one, $1,000 less than the other. Great all around experience. read more

They performed work for me in the past and I don't recall having issues but recently they have failed to keep numerous appointments or return calls as promised. I'll be looking for another roofer read more

I wish I could give them zero stars! I should have did a little research before i hired them! The whole company has a bad attitude from the top on down! Owners son is very rude and inconsiderate ! The quality of workmanship is horrendous , if you want to call it workmanship ! Called another contractor to come and patched leaks because I would like it done right the second time and in a timely manner ! Can not believe this company is still in business ! Did some research(a little late)and they also own a asphalt company so people beware!!!!!! Be sure to tell everyone you know about ABLE Roofing and the quality company they are! Company slogan should be " do it nice but have to do it twice...three,four,...times till its right" read more
