After accepting the estimate, he was back in a week to complete the work. Bill and his crew replaced 50 broken or missing slate shingles, pushed up and refastened loose slates, and resealed open flashing and open nail heads. Bill was timely, professional and corteous. The roof looks beautiful and the shingles are tightly aligned and orderly. He and his crew completed the work with craftsmanship and skill. Bill also went above and beyond, replacing a few extra tiles not included in the original estimate, though sticking to the original estimate price. The cleanup looks perfect! We called 4 roofers and Bill was the only one who promptly provided an estimate and returned in a timely fashion to complete the work. His prices were fair and competitive. His work is admirable. We will definitely be recommending him and calling him again in the future. It is worth noting that Cascioli Roofing is located in the Kunkletown/ Gibert area. After reading reviews about Neil Labuda we decided to give him a try. He came for a consultation right away and gave us an estimate; we decided to go with him even though we didn't ask for a second opinion-- we liked what he had to offer. He is very professional in his presentation and explained all the pros and cons of everything very clearly. We signed the contract and had a beginning date set. Due to the weather (not his fault) we had to start later on. The task was to change all the gutters and to repair the roof of a 3000sqf ranch house. Estimated time to completion was around 5 to 7 days, he made it in 4! He worked most of the time alone (with the exception of one day), but very efficiently, and hard. He hardly took a lunch break. He came every day around 7 am and went all the way to 5 pm. The result: The look is great, I should write in the future regarding the functionality, but it really looks amazing. He gives a 10-year warranty for the the gutters and a good warranty for the roof repairs as well. He cleaned very well when the job was done even rolling a giant magnet in case any screws or nails were left on the ground. The price: it wasn't cheap and honestly we do not know how market-fair it was since is the first time we deal with this, however the job was done right. He was very honest and even gave us a break for extra repairs he had to do on the roof, which we really appreciate since we are struggling a bit with so many repairs we have to do. Conclusion: He is knowledgable, trust-worthy, and very professional. This company is excellent! A tree came down on our 110-year old slate roof. I found four companies…read morethat handle slate. Two failed to return calls, and the other was prohibitively expensive. Royal Roofing and Renovations promptly returned my call, worked with my insurance company, and completely replaced the deteriorated slate roof with a new asphalt shingles, including the porch roof. They removed the old slate, installed a solid base, weather proofing, and ventilation. They also replaced rotted wood and made sure the entire roof was water proofed. We've also noticed how much warmer our whole house is! Royal's work crew is professional and friendly, and they cleaned up everything before they left. They worked swiftly and carefully, even wearing headlamps to be able to work after dark. They did the entire project in just three days! I was also pleased with their very reasonable prices.
